My family and I have stayed at Highland Cottage numerous times. Each visit is amazing. The property is immaculate, everything needed is provided, the owners are responsive, and the location is perfection. Close to all the action of Atlantic Avenue, but quiet at night. Nikki and Marty are very gracious and responsive hosts. Highland Cottage is beautifully decorated and so relaxing. The neighborhood is lovely - really enjoyed riding one of the bikes that the hosts provided. Everything you need is close by - groceries, beaches, entertainment and more. Photos don’t do justice to this beautiful, immaculate cottage in a very pleasant neighbourhood minutes away from Pineapple Grove and Atlantic Ave. The interior cozy and spotless, well stocked condiments and cooking utensils, the bedrooms comfortable and tastefully decorated. Front and back landscaping professionally done and a treat to relax in. Owners close by and attentive to any questions . You will be lucky if you get a chance to stay in this jewel of a property.

We've rented several vacation homes and Highland Cottage is at the TOP of our list! Marty and Nikki made everything so easy from start to finish. The house itself is impeccable and we loved the neighborhood. It was very so quiet and private, but super easy to get to the beach or Atlantic Ave for some fun. Perfect all around. From the moment I booked the cottage and communicated with Nikki and Marty, I knew Highland Cottage would be very special. It is a spectacular home with a gorgeous backyard, in a premier location, with quick access to the beach and downtown Delray. They take great care in making sure every comfort is provided from the moment you step inside. I hope to return one day because it was so enjoyable. Thank you again Nikki and Marty!!

So welcoming!
The house was exactly as described. It felt like a home. There were lovely treats left for us from local shops. We took a bike ride around the neighbourhood, which was quiet and lovely. The beach is so close and the local amenities were great. If we had any questions, Marty & Nikki answered them super fast and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great vacation!

Fantastic stay at Highland Cottage
We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at Highland Cottage, a clean and stylish yet very comfortable home. The lovely and super friendly owners live right next door, so they are easily available--we couldn’t figure out the 4 smart TV’s in the house until Marty gave us a lesson and contacted the cable company to have one TV reconnected. Nikki immediately sent over a contractor when the fire alarm beeped because a tiny lizard inside was disconnecting it—only in Florida! The house has a great fully equipped kitchen, and we really enjoyed cooking and eating in several nights. We loved relaxing in the beautiful and peaceful back yard which is fully furnished, has 2 umbrellas and a grill. The neighborhood is beautiful and is an easy walk to many fabulous restaurants. We even walked to gorgeous Delray Beach and to Atlantic Ave for lunch our first day- a 5 mile exploration of the area. Our stay was perfect and we hope to return to Highland Cottage someday. Do not hesitate to book this house!

Wonderful in Delray
Nikki and Marty went out of their way to make our one-month stay in Delray at Highland Cottage as fantastic as can be. The house is well-appointed, comfortable, charming, well located, and stocked with everything a vacationer could need. When we wanted one or two additional items for cooking and the TV service, they took care of it immediately. They are a pleasure to deal with and are right next door. We can't recommend this place more highly.

What a wonderful stay !!
This house is just perfect ! Well located, clean, well furnished, nice decoration, bikes, garden furniture, bbq etc. The owners Nikki & Marty were very helpful for discovery restaurants or informations about Delray Beach. My dream is come back again. Thank you very much for everything. It was my best stay in Florida.

My Favorite Place To Stay
A beautiful, comfortable property, with all the necessary amenities. My two friends and I had ample space and could be as private or communal as we wanted. The owners were very gracious and responsive to our needs. Love, Love, Love them.

Excellent! Highly recommended
We stayed 7 days. The Hosts were excellent. Great communication. Home was so cute and perfect size. We grilled and enjoyed the backyard. The wine and cheese and other welcome gifts were a nice touch. Convenient to downtown Delray and the beach. We will rent here again for sure. We highly recommend this home.

Little extras make a big statement
From the location to the perfectly clean, new and tidy interior, to the welcome snacks & wonderful hosts....this house was absolutely perfect. I spent 3 days to visit my two adult sons for a quick get away and although we didn't spend too much time at the house during the day, it was quite comfortable to relax in the den & kitchen area in the evening. The backyard patio is furnished with nice furniture to relax outside if the weather permits. I had my coffee out there each morning. The neighborhood is close enough to all the action, but far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet. Check in was super easy and Nikki and Marty were just next door if we needed them, but we never did. The linens are high quality. The kind you find at a 5 star hotel. And how did they know I needed a magnifying make up mirror and a glass of Pino Grigio when I checked in. :) There's a reason they are considered "premier" hosts.
I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Our favorite property ever!
We had such a great time staying here last week! From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The house is in a great neighborhood, decorated tastefully and very clean. The little details Nikki & Marty put into it really made us feel like they cared (Crackers & Cheese, Coffee & Cream, Wine & Chocolates etc,) They were also available via text the entire time and responded back quickly when we had questions (which ours happened to be can we stay longer and can you decorate our house? lol)
Of all the houses we have stayed in, this is our favorite by far!
If you are wondering whether or not to rent this place - just do it! You will not regret it!

Fantastic house in a wonderful location!
This was our second stay at Highland Cottage. My husband, daughter, and I stayed here in March 2020 and again in May 2021. Both times the house was perfectly clean, stocked with everything needed for a beach vacation, and great communication from the property owners. Thank you Marty and Nikki - we will be back again!!

The house is first and foremost CLEAN!! It is furnished tastefully and beautifully in a way that makes you feel welcome and happy and comfortable (plus 4 TV's). There were goodies to welcome us which was another special touch. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked like a charm. The outside area is inviting, clean and private. In the garage you will find beach chairs, umbrella, 2 bikes and washer/dryer. Marty & Nikki did a spectacular job making this house a home and trust me you will not want to leave. My daughter & I had an incredible week & will definitely return. Lastly, the location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach and close to stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.

Paradise in Delray
I’ve stayed in numerous Vrbos, and this experience was by far the best! The house is actually better in person than the pictures portray. We loved the location, close enough to walk or bike to the shops and restaurants on Atlantic (but a bit too far to walk to the beach w all your stuff). . The house is beautifully decorated and came fully equipped with absolutely everything you need. 2 beach chairs, 2 bikes, even a beach bag and umbrella. I am very particular about cleanliness, and this place did not disappoint. The hosts were attentive and responded immediately to any questions we had. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Marvelous property
Beautifully appointed. Attentive but not intrusive owners who live next door. Nikki and Marty were just great! Kept us informed when ever there was lawn or other maintenance scheduled. Very responsive to our needs. You walk in the “cottage” and you are immediately impressed with the decor, attention to detail, and cleanliness. We spent 6 wonderful weeks and it felt like home. Beautiful Home
We just enjoyed over two weeks at this lovely home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with all aspects of the cottage. From the beautiful grounds to the tasteful decor to the bottle of wine and other delicacies, we immediately felt welcomed and very comfortable. The patio was perfect for afternoon relaxation and entertaining friends. The bicycles were our transport to the beach and provided us with a mode of transportation around town. Everything that we needed for a great vacation (i.e. beach chairs) was provided. The hosts were quick to answer any queries and extremely helpful in terms of finding great restaurants and the like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our return.

Vacation Rental Nightmare
What started out as a wonderful stay turned into a vacation rental nightmare story you read about. The owners cancelled our 30 day stay after 11 days, which was New Years Eve day . I was left to find new accommodations on the busiest day of the year with my 8 week old infant and service animal. The owners entered the property multiple times while I wasn’t present and provoked my service animal.They continued to discriminated against me and my service animal, even after VRBO got involved. To top it off they continue to harass me via email, text, and phone, calling from different numbers etc even after VRBO has completed its investigation. While the house is lovely the owners leave much to be desired.

No ordinary cottage!
This property has it all going on! From the moment you pull into the driveway, you feel comfortable and at home. The cottage is meticulously maintained, delightfully decorated, and stocked with all that a vacationer/beachgoer needs. The owners are nearby and very gracious. The area is close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We landed in Palm Beach International Airport and in 30 mins we were walking in the door of the cottage. Cleanliness, comfort, and convenience - this cottage has it all going on. We will be back!

Weekend Getaway
My mother, nieces, and I decided to get away for the weekend and found the Highland Cottage and we fell in LOVE the moment we walked in. This house is decorated beautifully, impeccably clean, and just a 5-10 minute drive to the beach. The patio area is perfect for a nice family gathering by the BBQ. Again, everything is decorated and furnished impeccably!!! We also loved how peaceful and quiet the neighborhood is. Nikki and Marty live right next door and would answer all texts immediately when we had any questions/doubts. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience!
This property is wonderful! Beautiful inside an out. The space is layed out well and filled with comfortable & stylish furnishings. The owners, Nikki and Marty have thought of every detail - just what you need for a relaxing vacation- comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, all the beach essentials (towels, chairs...), even bicycles! I find a lot of vrbo properties miss some of the things you may need, but not the case here. The linen closet is packed with tons of bath towels (folded and stacked perfectly!) and the closets had extra pillows and blankets. There were all the little things you need - hand soap, extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher tabs, sponge, dish soap... In addition there were fun extras! The owners left us an assortment of welcoming treats that were thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic location - quiet neighborhood but close to the beach and Atlantic Ave. Nikki and Marty are great - they responded quickly to every question. Will definitely return to this beautiful home!

Very high quality and solid value
I believe that anyone would be pleased with this rental. Everything is set up for guests to immediately feel welcome. Inside this home is designed with upscale materials, furnishings and useful provisions. The house was spotless and uncluttered. Landscaping is lovely too. Neighborhood is convenient and quiet. Nikki & Marty are conscientious and easy to communicate with. We come to Delray every year to visit my mother and have stayed in 3 hotels and several other owner-rentals. This one was the best hands down. While on the higher end, we found it to actually be more than worth the expense.
