Lovely property!
I highly recommend staying at this lovely island home. The home design is perfect, and the porch is beautiful. The slab floor of the porch decreases the mosquitos; therefore, you can enjoy sitting outside longer. The island itself is paradise. We love visiting every year.

Not good
NCIC is still a train wreck. Showed up with no reservation, only one key for 5 people, and NO NO internet. We reached out to property owner and manager and never heard back from either. The house is fine but all else really sucked. When we wanted questions answered no one cared.

Fully Decompressed!
Wonderful home & location close to NCIC pool/bar/office at one end of Schooner Rd and beach access close to the other end. We enjoyed very minute on the amazing second floor screened-in porch complete with ceiling fans and the attached open-air deck. And great night’s sleep in the comfy & clean beds with ice-cold AC our last two nights when the humidity outside spiked. Wi-Fi coverage was not the best throughout the home. But then again that may be by design in such an amazing place! Many thanks to the wonderful host - Margie!

Great experience
The owner was very helpful as we prepared for our first visit to the island, and the house was just as advertised. We were looking for an unplugged, relaxing getaway and this home was the perfect fit. Highly recommend!

Most relaxing vacation!
Everything about this trip was fantastic! The house was wonderful! Clean, comfortable and big enough for everyone to have their space! The house is perfectly situated on the island...4 minutes to the beach...a short ride to the 2 pools and boat dock. Everyone is so helpful on the island. The owner of this property was wonderful! If we had a question she was always right there with an answer! I would recommend this house and owner to anyone! We hope to be back soon! This island is the closest thing to going out of the country without leaving the USA! Thank you Margie for a wonderful week that we will never forget!

Back to the Island.
Loved the place. It was our first time so we had to figure some logistics out but the vibe was amazing. The island is beautiful and so peaceful. Our only regret was not having enough time.

Perfect house in paradise
My family of seven (including three children and grandparents) recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Isle Be There over the 2021/2022 holidays. The house is everything as advertised. Very clean, spacious, well appointed and great location! Margie, the owner, couldn't have been more accommodating and she made the whole process very easy. Overall we had a fantastic vacation and would not hesitate to book our next North Captiva vacation at Isle Be There.

Thanksgiving Getaway
This is a beautifully maintained house, with plenty of space for the family to relax. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and linens.
There are books and board games available.
There is no water view, and the sunset is partially obstructed, but one can easily walk or take the golf cart to the beach for the full sunset experience.

mixed review
The island is beautiful! We loved the beaches and the absence of cars. However, our house was not as clean as we had hoped and needed some maintenance that was not reflected in the reviews or pictures. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets and the dishwasher didn't really work so we washed dishes all week.
Check in was also rough as our luggage was temporarily lost in the ferry process and we didn't have a golf cart waiting for us. The property manager on the island was very responsive to our needs so that was good. We had a great week of family time overall once the initial hiccups were over.
We have communicated these needs to the property owner and she is very responsive so I would expect things to be better in the future, we just wish we wouldn't have had to deal with some of it during our week of vacation.

Isle Be There is a gem
We had plenty of room in this clean,
well-furnished house. It is close to the beach and to the pool. The owner replied to all inquiries very quickly and had many helpful suggestions for us. If you want a true escape, this is the right choice!

Great vacation home with large screened deck and open sundeck!
We stayed in this home for a long girls weekend. The layout of the home was nice, with four bedrooms downstairs and the open living area upstairs. The layout was perfect. The golf cart makes for a 2 minute drive to the beach. We loved it! I would not call this ocean view, but it was easy to get to the ocean from the house. Our only negatives were that the carpets are a bit worn, the golf cart was a little fussy with charging and the master bedroom was less cool than the rest of the bedrooms. Overall a great home and location. Margie, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating!

Perfect Stay
This was our first trip to North Captiva and had no idea what to expect. From the moment we booked this home, we had great communication from the owner, Margie, and North Captiva Island Club. Through their guidance, we perfectly coordinated transportation to the ferry, ferry to the island, delivery of our food, and a quick check in process. The folks on the island run a very smooth and organized operation.
The house was exactly what we expected from the photos - clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Our family consisted of 6 people over the age of 18. There was ample room to spread out. We spent tons of time on the screened in patio and loved the hammock. The thermostat is set at 75 degrees, which we thought would be on the warm side but the house was so cool and comfortable and after a day in the sun, we all put on sweatshirts at night. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed when we ate at home. We did have some issues with the grill which we understand is being tended to, but we just prepared meals in the kitchen instead.
We have read several complaints about golf carts from other rentals and were a little worried but our golf cart was perfect- great speed, easy to drive and reliable. It is a very short drive (totally walkable) to the beach passing tortoise, lizards, even crabs was so much fun.
We highly recommend renting this home. It felt like we were in paradise for the week!

Perfect vacation spot
We can’t say enough great things about this island! This home was wonderful too! It was so, so clean! We never saw one bug or ant or anything! We felt at home from the moment we got there! It had lots of space for our family of 5 to spread out. The porches were amazing and hammock especially relaxing! The beds had a tad of a crunchy feel from the mattress covers but we all slept great! Washer and dryer came in handy every single day! We enjoyed the setup of the house and the location was pretty perfect too! Thanks so much for providing a lovely vacation spot!! We cannot wait to come back!!

This island is a special find- detached fr world- so bring or arrange enough food (the drinking water is fr an aquifer and treated- so it might taste different- we were ok w it but other houses it’s stronger- so bring a few gallons of drinking water ) the water is a mesmerizing clear - incredible color blue, beach beautiful, loved sounds of the osprey, no cars- loved the golf cart, a total adventure. The house is well located- can easily walk to ferry, bar, pool and boat rental area or go by golf cart. Beds and rooms comfortable- Has all you need in kitchen except an orange juicer... really missed not being able to easily juice limes or lemons- lol! Loved hammock. Kitchen on third floor so not great for elderly or people w knee issues. The resort neglected to tell me the keys and Info would be found on a golf cart in parking area after 6pm ferry- we figured it out but it took a bit. Everyone is very helpful on island. Take cart to end of rum Rd and walk on path to a quiet stretch of beach. Go to barnacle restaurant-sitting outside is a treat- fish taco great!Covid wise- you do everything outside- so exposure is reduced- we wore a mask anytime Inside a public building- I felt it was a very good place to vacation during this crazy time.

Amazing!
Property was in the perfect location. It was close to the beach and close to the shops amd 2 restaurants. The amenities were awesome. Free kayak rental, bikes, and pool access. The process to get on the island went very smoothly and all of the information was given to us that we needed. The house fit our large family. It was an amazing trip, we will be back!

Private island getaway
We had a blast on North Captiva. Fishing, boating, dolphins everywhere. We went up to Caya Maya and found cool shells and sand dollars. Ventured to Captiva for lunch and shopping. It was a great time!

Wonderful and Clean
The house was spotless upon our arrival. Having four bedrooms and bathrooms worked perfectly for our family. We cooked many meals including fish dinners we caught. We ate at the Boat House New Years Eve and it was amazing. Mangoes was great for drinks and lunch too. It was an easy walk to beach. The weather our week was warm and sunny. Make sure to bring your groceries and plan carefully. The property owner was wonderful in providing all information and answering questions. We had a great time.

Peaceful getaway
Booked for a family of 6 for Christmas week. Both the island and the property were exactly what we were looking for in terms of a low key, quiet getaway. Easy access to the beach and pool via foot or golf cart. The house was in great shape and we had no issues with anything. Bikes and kayaks were readily available. The beach chairs were a little harder to come by sometimes. We ate at Barnacle's and Mango's and the food was good at both. Be sure to plan for the cost of getting from the airport to the dock and for the ferry rides back and forth. We underestimated our food consumption but were easily able to put in another order from our shopper and have it delivered on the ferry and to the house. The house owner answered all of our questions ahead of time and the club gave us all the logistics info that we needed, so all we needed to do was show up and have a great time. Would recommend for someone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the mainland.

Great house
We had an amazing time at this property. The house is super clean and really well located in the island. Everything we needed was in the house. The only problem we had was with the golf cart. Upon arrival they gave us one that left us stranded on our way to check in. The next one they gave us also left us stranded during the night. We had to walk in the pitch dark. It was not pleasant. Other than that we had an amazing experience on the island and in Margies home. Thank you for everything

Enchanting Island
We absolutely loved staying at Isle Be There and we can’t wait to go back! The house layout with the bedrooms on one floor and common areas above it was perfect. The 5 minute quick walk to either the beach or pool (also where the kayaks and bikes are) allowed us to feel like we had the best of both worlds. We kayaked several times and saw tons of dolphins, manatee and turtles.
The kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked three meals a day for 7 people and there wasn’t anything we needed except for our food!
We can’t say enough about our trip... we are already talking about returning and we would stay right where we did at this property.

Fantastic House
We had a great time at Isle Be There. The house was fully stocked with all that we needed for cooking meals. We ran into some internet issues and Margie was super responsive in taking care of the issue. We did run into some issues with the North Captiva Island Club itself - an overall lack of responsiveness and attention to issues with our golf cart until we all got electrocuted by one (including the child in our party). They swiftly brought us a new one at that point, but it shouldn’t have occurred in the first place. Aside from the issues with the club itself, the house is great, the beach is amazing (we saw several manatees and dolphins), and it was a great place to get away. We’d love to come back one day!

We enjoyed Isle be There
We spent 7 weeks at Isle Be There during teh Pandemic shutdowns. It was a great place to be. Empty beaches, open swimming pools, uncrowded. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We contacted Debbie Winstead when we needed groceries from the mainland and she was helpful nd an excellent source. Teh only negatives werer minor: the golf carts supplied were not good...but they will trade them in until you get a better one; The wifi is weak so was a struggle to keep up with my work.. The beaches are outstanding and we got lots of easy walking exercize. Dave, the cook at Over The Water was always smiling , helpful and had excellent meals for takeout. I would highly recommend Isle Be There for a large family or group of 5-6 people or more.

Great place to relax
Great spot to relax. It takes some planning up front to set up transportation and get groceries, but then once you're there the island is quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. The host was very helpful, and the house itself was perfect. Watching the sunset from the beach was definitely our favorite thing about it all.

Great family vacation!
WOW! What an amazing stay at North Captiva Island and this beautiful house! It was a very peaceful and beautiful island. We loved the golf cart and the quite sand roads taking you from beach to house. The beach was lovely and my kids have never seen shells like that before. The house was perfect, loved the hammock, kitchen, living space with entertaining upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. Kitchen has everything you need. We got beach chairs from club house, played tennis, kayaked and relaxed. It was an enjoyable stay for family of 7 and we will be back!

wonderful
Margie is an excellent host and responded timely to our inquiries. The house is clean and comfortable and well located. a short walk from both the club facilities and the beach, yet not subject to a whole lot of golf cart traffic. The kitchen is very well appointed for those who like to cook (we do). And it served us well for the eight days we spent on the island with the approximately 120 lbs of food we brought along with us. Highly recommend you bring every food item you could conceivably want to use as there is are only occasional food deliveries to the tiny convenience store. However, fresh fish can be ordered on a day's notice from Boats and Fun, and, apparently, Instacart can deliver to the island, though we were unable to figure out how to do it.
About the island: our son and his wife and three sons-- 5,8,and 10-- had a supremely relaxing and fun vacation with ample activities available for the kids, and little to worry about in regard to safety as there are no automobiles. I removed my shoes the day we arrived and went barefoot until the day we departed. It is indeed a special place. We hope to return many times.

Nice vacation in North Captiva
We enjoyed our first experience on North Captiva. Besides the beach, of course, we enjoyed the kayaking, biking and pool time. Any issues we had with the property were addressed in a timely manner by the North Captiva Island Club and the owners. My only rational for 4 stars is that our accommodations were not without issue, however, we did get those issues corrected.

Amazing find on North Captiva Island
We are on our way home from North Captiva Island, where we stayed at unit 075: Isle Be There. We had a perfect vacation. The house was great: the perfect size. We could have fit one or two more ppl but i liked the kids each having their own room to spread out. The hammock and deck were very nice. If you are going to north Captiva, my only real advice is to pack more groceries than you think you need. :-)
I definitely recommend staying at Isle Be There on North Captiva.
My family will be back.

An amazing experience!
Our family (party of 7) had a fantastic stay at Isle Be There! Check-in at the ferry office was easy. The receptionist patiently answered all of my questions. Captain Jake & his first mate cheerfully loaded all of our gear for the ride to the island. Note: we brought all of our own groceries and had plenty of room in the provided bins.
The house is centrally located and accessible to everything. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the screened in porch was heavenly! We only found 2 beach towels in the linen closet and there were no beach umbrellas in the house. Luckily, we brought our own canopy for the beach and beach towels are available for rent from the main office at a rate of $5 per towel per stay. Beach chairs are also available at the main office.
We loved exploring the different beach areas, watching the dolphins and manatees and the shelling was much better than we anticipated. The weather was perfect and the sunsets were breathtaking. After sunset, star gazing is a must!
While we did not utilize the bikes or kayaks, it was nice to know those amenities were available to us. We did splurge on a fishing charter with Captain Dalton. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Everything was smooth from start to finish. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation we have had yet!

Nice family vacation
All very nice the home had almost everything that was needed for the exception of a beach umbrella as stated in the listing. The weather was exceptionally perfect and we were unable to stay at the beautiful beach without the covering for more than and hour. Had I known we would have brought our own. Beach chairs, bikes and kyacks were all ready available which was nice and the pool area had shade but we all really wanted to spend more time at the beautiful beach. We did encounter ghost ants which invaded our sweets but was able to save some by stowing away in the refrigerator, but with that being said the time spent was wonderful for the kids and adults as well would come back again.

Comfortable house, beautiful island
We enjoyed staying at Isle Be There! The house is comfortable and nicely furnished. We especially liked the layout of the house -- bedrooms on the first floor and the kitchen, dining, and family room on the second floor. The screened porch off the dining room was nice and convenient -- we regularly ate at the table on the porch. The hammock is nice, too!
The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated.
The Island is beautiful, with plenty to do. For example, we kayaked along the coast and found ourselves rowing alongside three manatees. Another time, dolphins swam around our kayaks. Quite fun.
