Had a good time. Accommodates a lot of people.

We have felt with Vrbo for several years and have been happy with the properties used, until this trip. First, the listing clearly states “3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.” Upon arrival we only found 2 bathrooms, then learned the outdoor shower was listed as a bathroom! We contacted the manager who reintegrated the outdoor shower was listed as a bathroom. No one admitted that the inclusion of an outdoor shower was clearly a misrepresentation of the property. Later we found mold in two of the 8 tumblers placed on top of the refrigerator. Again, the property manager passed responsibility to the maids who “he said” were supposed to throw them out since they did not belong to the property. Is there no one checking on the property between visits? And lastly for now, the refrigerator had not been replaced although “ordered 4 months ago.” The ice maker did not work and we were not notified ahead of time. Granted we took care of the ice situation but we were not informed in the change of status. All of this means we will be using a different booking agent in the future.

The house was clean, the view was awesome, and the short walk to the beach was perfection! There were just a few things that could’ve been better: a fully working microwave and toaster, and the one bathroom upstairs was a little tricky, but I think that was just the ages of our kiddos, not the property, because there was a second bathroom downstairs, as well, it just wasn’t as convenient. If we had teenagers, I think it would have worked great. Overall, a very nice place to stay!

Home was fantastic. Super cute. Only thing we didn’t realize with teenage girls is that the 2nd bathroom is actually outside downstairs. We made it work but it was a surprise for sure. Also, no beach toys or towels were provided which we knew beforehand because we asked. The home was super close to the beach but a wagon would’ve been extremely helpful. We were thankful for the washer and dryer however the washer had a leak but they had a plumber come out so hopefully it was fixed but since it was all downstairs it wasn’t an issue.

Worked well for our family trip. Grandparents Adult son, wife and 3 kids ages 3 mo, 5, and 7. 5 and 7 yr old loved the bunkbed room. Queen room plenty of room for pack and play for infant. King bed comfortable. Great location steps to beach, able to go back and forth easily. Not a crowded beach, with a no car acess area (car acess close by if needed), but was nice not to have to worry about cars and kids. Homeowner quick response to questions It was nice to have downstairs shower also. Easy check in. Walmart not too far away for groceries and supplies.

The house is nice and open with a great deck. The listing is misleading. The second bathroom is downstairs below the house. This means you have to go outside to get to it. We had two families staying and one had to go outside and downstairs to use the bathroom and shower. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms. And the only cups were wine glasses or coffee mugs. The bedrooms were great and the AC worked nicely. The kitchen was otherwise well stocked. Even though the house is second row beach, there is a little bit of a walk down the street. Luckily it didn’t rain so the bathroom situation wasn’t a big deal just wish the listing was more up front about it. We had an very enjoyable time.

The location of the beach house is great, close to beach and a view of the water. Sitting on the porch in the evenings was nice, the sun was behind the house. Very quiet neighborhood. Really wished the ice maker worked. There was a problem with the other bath and the owner made the situation right without hesitation. Really cute house.

This house was cute and very beachy vibe. It had anything you needed plenty of towels and such. Anything to cook a five star meal. Would come back in heart beat.

This is a great location in a great, quite neighborhood. The house is walking distance to the beach. It is only a few miles away from stores to get any items you need, but it is far enough away from all the crowded places in Galvenston that it's private and quiet as well. The property owner is great to work with as well. When we had questions or concerns with anything, he was quick to respond and resolve our concerns. He did a great job during our stay!

Tucked a street back from the secluded beach, this quiet property breathes rest and relaxation. The style and design is both playful and inviting. Comfort and TVs are found in every room. Our family enjoyed our time here together.

We had a wonderful experience. It was extremely hard to return to work because we had such an amazing time. Everything we needed was there. Owners were fast responding. It was amazing.

We had an awesome time during our stay! Normally we stay at the house next door also owned by Jacob, but it wasn’t available during this particular week. However, this house did not disappoint at all. We had a group of little kids, a teenager, a baby, and five adults and the setup of the house was perfect. We loved the open kitchen and the amount of seating in the kitchen as well as the living room. The bunk bed room is perfect for a group with a lot of kids and the other two rooms are so cute and clean. The entire house was so clean and pretty, the AC worked really well, loved the view from the deck, and there were more than enough towels. Can’t wait to stay again next year!

Our stay was great!! The house had plenty of room for us. The house is very lived in and could use a little maintenance but the owner was awesome and communicated with us well! We had one issue and he came in and took care of it! The only downside is the second bathroom is downstairs but all in all it was a great stay!

Perfect size for our family with easy walk-ability to the water.

The location of this property was perfect, just far enough away to get that private beach feel and close enough to Galveston to enjoy the restaurants and venues. House had a cozy feel and great kitchen. We would definitely be back. Communication with owners was clear and they were quick and responsive to our needs.

We enjoyed our family vacation at this charming beach house. We rented this house and the house next door for our large extended family. It was a very short walk to the beach everyday. We loved sitting on the deck, looking and listening to the ocean waves. Property was clean and well maintained.

While the sea wall was packed, we had a private beach. My kids and grandkids had the time of their life. It was our first family vacation in almost 5 years and we could not have asked for a better place. The owners are great. The location is awesome. The houses are perfect. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks for everything ! My only complaint is that I didn’t book for longer. Did not want to go home yet.
