This was a beautiful well decorated home with very nice amenities. Our whole party enjoyed the home and were very comfortable. The fireplace and décor were charming. The home is 5 blocks away from the plaza and the distance is walkable. We enjoyed walking around the plaza and soaking in some Pueblo Indian culture at the Taos Pueblo. Really cool! There was also a nice public place for sledding within 10 miles of the house. The only negative point was the manager's response to requests. The WIFI for the house did not work and he failed to solve or even appear to attempt to solve that problem despite our requests. He did not appear to have knowledge of small repairs such as toilet fixtures replacement for a toilet that would not flush and so we replaced the handle(he did bring the part). Some basic supplies(such as dishsoap, trash bags and paper towels) for the house had run out and a request was made for these supplies but were never delivered. He was a nice man to speak with and did respond when contacted but did not follow through well with problem solving. These were small issues and our stay at the house was wonderful. Minor management inconsiderations were the only problem.

Since the owners leave it pretty much as they use it, decorations and all, it feels very much like being in a gracious home. There were minor issues with a circuit breaker and a microwave that was being repaired, but the manager stayed in contact and was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Worked perfectly for our family of five, granda, 2 grandkids, mom and dad. Backyard perfect space beautiful and meditative. We were expecting kiva Fire only to,learn it now was gas please upgrade on printed info. Not fair for that expectation 2 yr old did fine on futon. We thought we needed a crib.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Bella Villa. More art and more kitchen stuff! This is such a well equipped home. You want for nothing. It is clean and luxurious. We walked everywhere during the Arts Festival; used the car once or twice. I expect to stay here again the next time we come to Taos.

Beautiful home & great location. Walkable distance into town. My only comment would be on the sleeping arrangements... It claims to sleep 8 comfortably but I would say that is a bit misleading, it sleeps 4 comfortably and 8 rather uncomfortably. I was expecting a pullout couch or trundle bed situation and got foam mats with really no good place to lay them. For children the mats would probably work perfectly, however, for an adult it was rather uncomfortable...

Bella Villa was lovely! We all enjoyed the beautiful art work, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and the lovely yard (and hot tub). Everything was just perfect and we felt so comfortable. The caretaker turned on the lights when he learned that our arrival would be after dark! He is a treasure! I will be back to stay at Bella Villa as soon as possible. Beyond all expectations, Bella Villa welcomed us with a warm soft glow. Clean and beautifully decorated with everything we needed including cooking spices.also close to shopping, gas and the Plaza. We had a great time. The house was beautful, just like the pictures. About a 2 minute walk to the grocery store gave us some fine dining experiences on the patio and indoors! And the hot tub was sensational under the stars! Just one little thing...We never saw or heard from our host and the handle broke on one of the toilets. But we still highly recommend the place.
