Dianne was a wonderful host, great communication, accommodating and thoughtful. Loved watching the sunset every night from the hot tub. We can't wait to return. This is by far our favorite VRBO.

This waterfront home was a great spot for hosting out of town family members, and we thoroughly enjoyed this house and it’s sensational harbor view.
Our host, Dianne, is helpful and gracious and welcomed us with wine, fresh bread and a stocked pantry.
The layout encourages relaxing with friends/family, perhaps after a few hours of exploration, and activity in the harbor is never-ending entertainment.
The kitchen is beyond well-equipped, reading material and games aplenty are at hand, the furnishings are all comfortable and Dianne seems to have thought of just about everything.
Highly recommended. (Just please don't book it when we want to come back.)

This was the nicest VRBO property we’ve ever rented. The location is wonderful, the view stunning, the house warm and inviting. Spotlessly clean with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers in the bathroom, homemade pumpkin bread, coffee and wine to welcome us. The house is equipped with everything we could have ever needed. We visited with another couple to attend a small reunion of dear friends. Our homebase was a friend’s home in Gig Harbor. We would like to go back and spend a lot more time enjoying all the activities available at the house and in Gig Harbor. Thank you!

The location and view was perfect enjoyed the deck and all the beautiful flowers. Dianne was great to work with and we had everything we needed for a great escape from the heat of AZ. Enjoyed the pumpkin bread as an added treat. Would highly recommend if looking for a place on the harbor.

This is a very comfortable and cozy house perched on a hillside directly on the water with a spectacular view of the harbor and downtown across the water. Winding path down to a couple of chairs and a chiminea style firepit down by the water. Also access to a big dock with 2 kayaks and a SUP to use. Wildlife everywhere. Rabbits in the yard, deer up and down the street, Bald Eagles walking the beach at low tide, and 3 harbor seals even took over the dock one afternoon and evening to rest. Lots of deck space, but our favorite spot at night was the little side deck area; the small table top gas firepit was just enough to knock the cool off at night. Had a great time and would rent again.

My parents live in Gig Harbor and enjoy staying in rental homes near Gig Harbor when I visit twice a year. After 12 years - I have found it- the perfect place to stay - the host is super friendly and attentive, the property location is close to downtown , peaceful, and private. Inside the home is clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and equipped to serve an elegant dinner
party. This is an ideal place for families and friends to gather and enjoy the multiple decks and the semi enclosed patio with a fire pit. My daughter and brother’s nephew kayaked with the other small boats on the bay.I felt grateful that the host kindly opened her home to us. I was able to put my lap top away, read a book, make homemade clam chowder, and watch the sunset on the bay - paradise!

Great location with amazing harbor views. We were able to kayak in the harbor every day, see the seals, and enjoy the local restaurants. Home was clean, very well stocked, and the host left us the most delicious bread and wine. Highly recommend and we would definitely book again!

Of the many VRBO properties we have stayed at, the property is perfectly maintained (cleanliness, amenities, landscaping, etc.) and Dianne has everything dialed-in and is continually investing in the property to make it even nicer.
We were two days into our first stay in March before we grabbed the last week in the summer, and are already thinking about when we can come back in the fall.

Dazzled.
I just spent 18 very happy days in this jewel of a home with its stunning 180 degree view of the harbor. The floor plan is so well thought out that I even had views from the kitchen and the bedroom! The house is tastefully decorated with upgrades throughout. One huge plus is that the house and the lovely upper terrace are all on the same level which made it easy for my 96 yr old Mother to move about. Super host Dianne seemed to have thought of everything that her guests might need from flashlights being handily available to even providing a « freshen up » in the middle of my stay. Any questions were answered promptly and with courtesy.. I normally don’t write reviews but I was so dazzled that I feel compelled to do one. I will definitely be returning for another stay.

Exceeds all expectations
This was our second stay at this wonderful property. I cannot emphasize enough just how nice this place is. The host leaves lots of supplies in the kitchen, which is very much appreciated for weary travelers. Superb value. By far the best rental we have ever stayed at.

AMAZING!
We absolutely loved our stay in Gig Harbor and will definitely be staying at this property the next time we visit. Loved the location, everything about the house, and Dianne was so responsive and nice. Watching the sunset in the hot tub (cleanest hot tub we have ever seen at any VRBO) was heaven on Earth. You need to stay here!

A wonderful stay with an incredibly considerate host...
Of the many properties we have rented over the years, this was easily the best equipped and maintained property we have ever stayed at. The home is meticulously maintained (it is truly spotless) with fresh flowers, nearly new hot-tub and deck...all leading to a dock with kayaks for exploring the harbor.
The view is amazing, especially the sunsets. Neighborhood is peaceful and the deck large and private, making for a great place to read or just enjoy the scenery.
Dianne made herself available to answer questions and has really thought through everything you will need to have a wonderful stay.

Everything you need and great location
This property is absolutely wonderful. The location is amazing as are the views. The owner does an excellent job of ensuring everything is perfect for your stay and yet is not overbearing at all.
Plenty of anything you’d need while you’re staying there. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, condiments, basics and cooking items.
Games, puzzles. Places to sit and relax. It’s all there.
Very responsive to questions if you can’t find something.
Wonderful place to enjoy the Gig Harbor community. Looking forward to coming back again!

Fantastic!!! The best place we have ever stayed
This is the most amazing property we have ever been. From the moment we walked in to the house we felt like we were at home. The view is absolutely breathtaking!
We loved everything about this home from the moment we arrived. Our host was easy to reach and responsive to messages.
The house was perfect for 2 couples since both the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. The home has been upgraded throughout. The kitchen was well appointed and you could tell that our host loves to cook. The pantry was well-stocked with anything you might need to cook a delicious meal. Everything was so clean and neat.
There are stereos in every room for music lovers such as ourselves. There is even a portable bluetooth speaker to take out onto the decks.
This host is 1st class and had a welcome note with homemade pumpkin bread, special coffee and a bottle of Gig Harbor wine waiting for us.
The jacuzzi was perfect for a soak out on the deck overlooking Gig Harbor. There were 2 kayaks and a paddleboard that were so fun to use to paddle around the harbor.
There is a wonderful protected outside patio right off the kitchen with a fire feature that kept us warm at night while we enjoyed socializing with family while it rained.
I can't believe how wonderful this home was to stay at and our host was truly amazing. Will definitely stay here every time we visit Gig Harbor.

Superb house and location
This property is probably the best rental location we have ever stayed at. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The house could not have been set up better. Clean, great layout, excellent kitchen and supplies. The harbor location was perfect, with use of the dock much appreciated. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. Everything about this rental was better than described.

Amazing Panoramic Harbor View
This is a well equipped waterfront home with a million dollar view of harbor activity. Lots of amenities including a spa, kayaks, several outdoor seating places, fireplace and patio fire pit. The pantry was well stocked. Dianne was very responsive and hospitable. Highly recommended.

Amazing home on Gig Harbor
My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend while visiting my daughters boyfriend who is stationed on Bangor Naval Base. We originally had planned to stay closer to base but because we could not find any availability we ended up staying here. What a wonderful decision. This home is absolutely perfect from the minute you drive in the driveway. Very well landscaped with lots of potted plants (which I even got to water a few). Walk inside the door and you instantly feel as if you are at a family members home. The home is so well equipped with ever thing you could possibly need. Kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with staples of all sorts.. Dianne the homeowner had us a fresh loaf of bread and bottle of wine waiting for us. Beds are so comfortable and the shower has the best water pressure I've ever seen along with super hot water which was a necessity after hiking trails all day. Sitting in the den on the comfortable sofa and recliners you have amazing views of the harbor while playing some of the board games that she has. There is a hot tub on the deck overlooking the harbor. A perfect place to sit and relax with the bottle of wine! My daughter and her boyfriend spent one afternoon on the harbor in the kayaks that are available for use.
This home is a short drive to downtown Gig Harbor with lots of eating places and shops. I wish I could give this property 10 stars because 5 just doesn't seem enough. I could go on and on. Dianne is an excellent host and just a text away if you need her. We will definitely be staying here again when we come to visit.

Fabulous rental
The Gig Harbor home is situated on a gorgeous landscape! It has everything you want and need! Two decks, two outdoor fireplace areas, hot tub, kayaks, paddle board, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, etc! Dianne has thought of everything! Our family did not care to leave the property much as it was so welcoming, and fun! Dianne baked yummy pumpkin bread for us at check in and had wine and coffee as gifts! Best rental ever!! Made our trip spectacular! Dianne checked in with us and was available for questions!

Excellent Harbor Experience
We felt this property was magical. The views are wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the decks and watching the sailboats, kayaks, and other boats go by at all times during the day and evening. It’s a lovely home with different areas for conversation inside and out. The host was readily available to answer all our questions. We highly recommend this rental.

Amazing waterfront w/all the amenities
Dianne was a great host. Excellent communication. Property is cozy, comfortable and the photos do not do the property justice. Covered porch was great when it rained. Hot tub was clean and available at check-in. Kitchen offered everything you could possibly need and my son and I spent time cooking together which was priceless. We normally don’t rent the same property twice but I’d definitely return to this little gem on the harbor. 5 stars all day long.

Magic on Gig Harbor!
Magical and perfect in every way. After getting in late to SeaTac we drove in at dark. We had no problem at all using the lock box to get in. We were pleasantly surprised with a loaf of home made bread and a bottle "The Gig" red wine. This hit the spot! We poured a glass and exhaled. We hot tubbed and slept like logs. We woke up to Bliss! OMG The VIEWS! It's all about the views right? This house has them! So beautiful and peaceful day and night. QUIET! We loved our morning and evening hot tubs, the kayaking on the sound (yes, the host provides!) the coffee in the morning out on the deck over looking the water as the fog rolled by. I could go on and on. The host is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The home feels as if you are staying at a relatives house, it is so warm and fully stocked! It doesn't have that "empty vacation house only" feeling. Instead, it seriously feels like HOME! If you love to cook this is the place for you because in all my years of travel I have never seen such a stocked and equipped vacation home kitchen! I am picky about beds and bedding and showers and all met my expectations. Cozy beds, nice pillows & blankets. Good water pressure in the showers and lots of hot water. These things are crucial right? We made reservations at 5 star Anthonys Seafood, and it is just down the street. It was wonderful. The entire trip was fabulous. Thank you we are blessed.

Lovely Gig Harbor home
We’ve rented quite a few homes through the years through VRBO - some very nice, some less so - but we’ve never had a better experience than we did staying here. The home is meticulously clean, supplied with everything one could want and in a delightful location. What makes this home stand out above all however is the homeowner Dianne. From the welcoming loaf of bread and bottle of wine to the perfectly cleaned and maintained hot tub, Dianne was a joy to meet. We could not recommend this property more highly!

Amazing location!!
Our family of four stayed here 3 nights and had a lovely time. We loved sitting on the deck in the late afternoon and soaking up the sun. Also enjoyed venturing to downtown for take out , ice cream and croissants , and going for walks down the street . Great place !

Great Place to Stay
This place has an excellent location right on the harbor downtown. The living room, kitchen and dining room are good sizes and have views of the harbor. We enjoyed both the hot tub, dock and the fire pit at the waters edge. The beds were comfortable. There were many extras from the hosts such as wine, coffee, homemade pumpkin bread and firewood. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay.
