We love staying in the house. Its so conveniently located near our favorite beaches and great restaurants. Beth is a great host and will go above and beyond to make sure we have all we need. This was our second year staying at the house and we are planning on staying next year as well!

Highly recommend, owner is easy to communicate with and leaves a personal touch. Property is in a great neighborhood, close to town and use of the pool is a bonus.

We are so impressed with this property on Gibbs Hill. All was communicated so well prior to our arrival. Our host even tried to get us a babysitter. That was above and beyond! The home is a solid choice and in a quiet family oriented neighborhood. It is very convenient to all things Gloucester and environs.

We stayed for 5 nights while on vacation in Gloucester. The property was beautifully decorated and so comfortable and relaxing! We loved being able to use the pool, it was so great to come back and take a dip after being out in the heat all day! Beth, the property owner, was so great to work with. She was very responsive and helpful, and so nice! She had great suggestions for us on places to eat and things to do. We had a great week and will definitely try to stay here again next time we come to Gloucester!

Wow. Wow. WOW! If you are thinking about booking this property, do it! I used this lovely home as a getting ready location for myself and 5 bridesmaids. Every member of the bridal party raved about the lovely decor, spacious bathrooms, and exceptional location. From beginning to end, every need our group had was met. I can’t recommend this rental enough. :)

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The home is clean and very spacious. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and had Tv's in each room. The kitchen is big and equipped with all the necessities. The owner left us a huge basket of all kinds of goodies and snacks that were appreciated by everyone. The location was easy to find and on a private street. Perfect place to stay especially if you have a large group.

Our property was as advertised and our host, Beth, couldn't be more accommodating. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was also evident that Beth added some nice personal touches to the property by providing a very thoughtful "welcome basket" and decor that made the house feel more like a home than simply a place to lay our heads. Finally, the location was ideal, as it was quiet and in close proximity to downtown Gloucester and Rockport, not to mention the primary reason we stayed there, which was to visit Salem for a historical tour. I would highly recommend this property.

Beth was an excellent host and made us feel welcomed upon arrival. From the little basket of snacks, beautiful bouquet of freshly cut flowers, to the mini soaps, Beth went out of her way to make sure we had all the things we needed (including starter logs to fuel my wife’s obsession with fireplaces). The property itself was beautiful, cozy, and very peaceful. We look forward to staying again!

We loved our stay at Beth’s house!! Lots of room for our family of 6. We were able to make breakfast every morning before exploring the area. Beds were comfy and neighborhood was quiet! We loved sitting out by the pond too. Will certainly stay here again, if in the area!

Three friends and I booked this stay and had a great time. Beth was a very generous and communicative host. We had everything we needed and more. The house is very spacious and clean. We could spread out, and we had so much fun playing games in the house and watching movies together at night. The views of the pond and the overall quiet and solitude were great. Host is super. Very Flexible with our booking. She prepared a wonderful basket treating us to snacks, and left wine and beer in fridge for us. It’s a lovely and safe place with lake views on both front and back. There was as though a chemical scent, from “overcleaning” that some of us a bit or perhaps “overly” sensitive to. Overall a really wonderful place and we had a beautiful time. Thanks!

Beth’s home is spacious, updated and stocked with everything you need in a quiet location by a pond. It was perfect for our group of four adults. The porch has a fire pit and grill, and is a good place to relax and take in the scenery. The location was great - we loved Gloucester, even though we had traveled to spend time in Salem. In addition Beth gave us some spot on recommendations. We had a perfect stay.

Our stay was amazing ! Beth greeted us as soon as we arrived and had a huge basket of treats and fresh flowers waiting in the kitchen. The house was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The view from the front yard is stunning. We loved all the windows, it really gave the house that fresh air vibe. We spent a whole evening by the fireplace playing monopoly and the kids loved it. The house is close to the ocean and great restaurants but also in a safe and quiet neighborhood. One of the best trips we’ve ever had !

I was taking my niece on a bucket list trip to Salem for Halloween. We booked a year in advance, but alas, we were still rather late with spending a small fortune. I found this beautiful home and knew it was perfect for us, even though it was just the two of us. Check in was simple, we weren’t able to meet our host the day we arrived because we were so excited to get to Salem immediately. But we met the next day. The house is gorgeous, quiet location, close to train station. I thought we could walk to the train, but I’m glad I ended up renting a car, as it was walkable (about a mile) but through wooded area, no sidewalks. But still perfect for what we needed. We went into the town of Gloucester one day and it’s a perfect little waterside town. The house was clean, loved the tub downstairs, comfy beds, plenty of space and amenities. Would love to come back again one day! Thank you Beth! And thank you for taking the time to answer all my questions in the year leading up to this visit!

We were visiting Salem for my 40th birthday- but wanted to stay away from how busy Salem is. Beth’s home was absolutely perfect. If we didn’t have plans, we’d have been perfectly content to stay at the house, relax, and use the outdoor space for a fire to chat around. We will definitely be back if we decide to visit the area again. Beth was very easy to communicate with and we absolutely loved how she came to chat with us and gave us amazing recommendations for food and the train that we didn’t know was only five minutes away. 10 out of 10!

We had a reunion of friends. Everyone really enjoyed their room and the common areas were comfortable and inviting. We had all of the conveniences of home. The location was close to town and the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay there again.

This was the perfect house for my family to stay. The owner left a lovely basket of treats for us to eat. There was plenty of coffee to be had in the mornings, as well. Be sure to let the owner know ahead of time if you want to use the pool, so the heat can be turned on.

Myself along with two friends and our teen daughters made the very long trip from Tennessee to visit the Salem area. The house was beautiful and clean. The property owner was kind and even came and talked to us and gave us recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Right down the road is the beach. It’s minutes from the train which I highly recommend taking into Salem and/or boston. Def recommend this place.

We stayed 3 nights in September and the house great. Convenient location to all the north shore activities and plenty of room for the 4 of us.

Spent a long weekend in Gloucester as we made our way down to Salem for a couple days. The house is beautiful and the owner was fabulous in communicating with us prior to and during the stay to ensure everything went smooth. Wish the weather was a little better so we could enjoy the pool, but we made the best of the weekend.

I was nervous booking because we have never been to that area so I had no idea what to expect but it was a great area and a great stay. The hostess was communicative. The house was clean, bright and cheery! The home had plenty of room for 6 adults and the beds were very comfortable.

Great neighborhood, good folks, easy ride to either Gloucester or Salem. We enjoyed our stay.

We travelled to Gloucester for a friend’s wedding and the house was just perfect for the three couples who stayed there! Beth was so welcoming and even had a wonderful welcome basket for us upon arrival. The house was very clean and had ample kitchen items and linens. I highly recommend this home for any larger group!

I was very pleased with the house when I first arrived, It was clean and decorated perfectly. I was worried about the proximity to the neighbors because we can get rowdy, but it all worked out. Beth was a pleasure to deal with, great communication and very welcoming. I loved the welcome basket. That was a sweet touch that made me feel welcomed. Everyone that came and stayed loved the house. Beth's home is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. We are also vacation rental hosts and very fussy guests! Check-in was a breeze and Beth came over to welcome us. She's friendly, easily accessible and very accommodating. She was close by if we needed but gave us privacy and space. She left us a spectacular welcome basket with guilty and healthy treats. The home was perfect for our family of 6 adults. It was so spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. We all commented about how open, airy and bright it was. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook and she provided us with coffee and tea. There are two living rooms if our group needed to spread out. We didn't have time to enjoy the deck but it looked like it would have been fantastic to relax around the fire pit with a glass of wine. The beds were so comfortable and it was so peaceful, we slept great. There were loads of towels and all the bedding was lovely high quality and soft. We were in town for a wedding and needed to make many trips back and forth from downtown and the location was super convenient. We could get to restaurants, grocery and the wedding venue easily and get back to the quiet comfort of 'home' in a flash. We would highly recommend Beth's place and can't wait to come back when we have a chance to explore the area and spend more time relaxing.

This property is exactly how it is described. I had lots of questions and Beth has been so easy to communicate with. She responded to our questions in a timely manner and has been so understanding. This is definitely a place I would book again.
