Cozy and Convenient!
Maison de ville accueillante au coeur du magnifique comté de Leelanau. Deux chambres (à l'étage), une avec un lit queen et une avec un lit double. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain complète. Il y a une demi-bain au premier étage. Cuisine complète, salon, salle à manger. Air climatisé, laveuse et sécheuse. Il y a un accès à une piscine creusée sur la propriété ainsi que des courts de tennis. Amusant toute l'année! Pratiquez le golf, la navigation de plaisance / le kayak, la pêche, la natation, le vélo et la randonnée au printemps et en été; couleur fabuleuse à l'automne; la raquette et le ski de fond en hiver; shopping et dégustation de vin toute l'année! La maison est située à Sugar Loaf. De là, les dunes de l'Ours dormant, Glen Arbor, Leland, Suttons Bay et Traverse City sont facilement accessibles en voiture. Il y a un parcours de golf sur la propriété, "The Old Course", ainsi qu'un autre à proximité, "Manitou Passage". Good Harbor Beach sur le lac Michigan est à seulement trois miles de distance, parfait pour nager et regarder les magnifiques couchers de soleil.

Myself, my wife, and two children (ages13& 16). Travelled to Michigan to hike and experience Lake Michigan beaches. Condo was perfect for us. Super clean. Conveniently located. Great communication with Cathy (owner). Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the well maintained pool, the comfortable furnishings and clean rooms. The location was great for exploring Traverse City and the Dunes.

The property was exactly as described and shown in the photos. We brought items from home that we thought we might need, but everything was there. We attended a wedding in Sutton's Bay, which was a short 20 minute drive. We golfed at the Old Course, on property, and had a great time. Mother nature was our only setback, as it rained on Friday and Saturday. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all in my family. Thank you

Bath towels were not in coveinant spot and load towels were let in wash washed that should have at least been in dryer making place smell musty.
For the cost spring to have update a little and replace dining rug hang tv above fireplace and get carpet cleaned.
Also cleaning person needs to wipe out refrigerator.

Maybe make sure lights are plugged in upstairs we has to use phone lights since no lights worked and it was dark when we went upstairs.
In instructions it says to lock door and upstairs slider does not lock and downstairs slider lock needs to he replaced or fixed.
This be recommended and we will not return

This property was great for our family vacation. While it's a little secluded, it is centrally located to everything we wanted to do in the area, so convenient for exploring the peninsula. It was just a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Leland, Lake Leelanau, and Sutton's Bay. Bike trails and beaches were close and convenient for our family with young kids. The pool access was great and the other residents very friendly. The condo had everything we needed to cook in when we wanted to stay in. The only downside was how the upstairs bedrooms really heated up during the day with the east/west facing windows, but the owner provided fans that helped cool it down. We enjoyed our stay!!

We can’t say enough about this property! Squeaky clean, fully stocked and photos are good but the place is actually better. The hosts were beyond accommodating when contacted. We would definitely stay there again 🙂

Well appointed condo, lots of great detailed information on things to do. Extra attention was paid to sheets, towels, cooking spices, etc. that you do not always see at many places to rent. Great location close to wineries and Sleeping Bear.

Very nice condo for short stay
The condo was great. The beds were comfortable le and I also appreciated there being beach towels for the guest to use. The only downside is the couch downstairs smelled a little musty. I think that’s because it was right in front of the air conditioner. We just didn’t sit in it are entire time there.

Loved It
One of our best VRBO experiences. The condo was clean, well stocked and very comfortable for 4 adults. The area was well maintained and very quiet. We didn't want for a thing. It is also conveniently located to many natural beautiful spots, wineries and TC. The hostess was very responsive with a couple of questions. The instructions were well communicated and the directions were great. We will certainly go back if possible!

Lovely
Folks let me tell you Cathy Newkirk is truly an amazing person and Theunit was lovely too. Quiet and in serene setting. We accidentally left a fairly large amount of cash hidden away at her place. Cathy went above and beyond to help locate it and returned it. In a world where sometimes you don’t encounter the best in people, she showed up for us as one of the good people on this planet. I want to come back and stay in her place just because of the goodness she and her unit exude!!!!

One of the Best.
We loved everything about this place. If we could give it a 5+ stars we would. Cathy was on top of everything she had everything you need to cook… We did pasta with grilled , baked and she had all the seasonings and more. Location was perfect we went to sleeping bear dunes, Glen Arbor, Leland, Northport. And then a short drive to Traverse City and turtle Creek Casino… Something for everyone

Good space but far
Unit has good space, property contact is very responsive, but couple challenges for us - property is not near much, and many places were closed, even for food, etc. Stairs are very steep and made us nervous with the kids. Interior is clean but a little dated. Pool is nearby if you are planning to spend much time at the unit.

Clean and well-equipped condo. Location between Leland and Glen Arbor (about 15 min to each) was perfect. Plenty of space for our family of four, with great pool access as well. We hope to come again!

Perfect weekend getaway!
We had the best time! The condo was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teenage sons. Close to everything! Very spacious and comfortable. We had a slight issue with some ants in the kitchen on our second day. But they dispersed by the third day. Not a huge issue and we would definitely rent this unit again!

Great find!!
We absolutely loved our stay. This suited our family perfectly, especially the bathrooms attached to each bedroom and how well stocked the house was with kitchen supplies, laundry detergent, kids games, etc. We loved the close proximity to Leland, Glen Arbor and Good Harbor beach. Quiet area, nice pool and would love to stay again!!

Travel to Traverse City & Cedar
We enjoyed this property very much. The upstairs for sleeping was not very comfortable. For some reason, the air conditioner did not cool the upstairs as well as the downstairs. Other than that, we loved the townhouse.

Friends trip with kids
We had a wonderful stay (thank you Cathy!)- the kitchen had everything we needed, the property was central (a short drive) to many locations (Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Haven, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Traverse City, etc.), the condo was very clean, parking was easy, and the pool was fun for the kids! The attached full baths to the upstairs bedrooms were very convenient, the bedrooms were a good size, the beds comfortable, the bedroom fans were wonderful, the provided compiled notebook of attractions was very helpful, and it was great to have the WiFi (as only one of us had cell services it there). (We did have to initially try to connect to the wifi many times before it worked, so keep trying and persistence will eventually pay off!). There were also many books and several games available in case of a rainy day.
It was nice to be out in the countryside a bit, as there were places to take a walk, and the calm and quiet atmosphere was appreciated at the end of the day.
We also were intrigued by the history of the nearby old resort, which added to the adventure of our trip!

I found this townhouse to be even nicer than the photos! And the kitchen is very well equipped (I love to cook!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Cathy was so quick to respond and so nice! Just a wonderful wonderful stay!

Great spot between SBD, Traverse City, Leland
Centrally located between all the points of interest in the area and an easy drive. Efficient townhouse that was very comfortable on the grounds of the former sugarloaf ski resort. Nice little 18 hole golf course in walking distance and an working airstrip for small airplanes. Host was very responsive.

Fantastic!
We stayed at Cathy's townhome for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The condo fully suited the needs for 3 adults, and could easily accommodate families with children. Fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms and seating - what a bonus having en suite bathrooms in each bedroom, plus a powder bath! Outdoor space is nice and the neighbors all seemed to be quite friendly and open to enjoying the communal spaces. Location is absolutely perfect for enjoying Leelenau County. We can't wait to come back!

I was really pleased with our stay in this condo. The beach was super close, access to the pool was great too. The condo its was spacious, comfortable and had lots of unexpected things available (food wrap, detergent, extra beach towels) if you needed something. I would definitely reconsider staying here.

Central Location
Our family had a great stay at the condo in Cedar. It is in the perfect location to visit all our favorite towns such as Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Leland, and more! The condo has a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds! The only downfall is the stairs leading upstairs are very steep and the wifi is a little touchy. However, Cathy was very responsive and the condo was clean and a great place to stay while Up North!

Excellent location!
We loved the location. It was perfectly situated outside of the hustle and bustle, but so close to Traverse City and Glen Arbor. The house itself was clean, so nicely decorated and was the perfect size, with large bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms! The owners were super responsive and welcoming. Would absolutely stay again!

Bright condo, centrally located between beautiful sites and towns
We enjoyed staying at this bright condo that had everything we needed for cooking-in and relaxing on the patio or at the pool. The drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Leelanau Peninsula was easy. Good Harbor Bay sunsets, beaches, road side farm stands, hiking and biking paths are just minutes away!
