It is in close walking distance to beach and shops. Our favorite restaurant in Avila is The Old Custom House. This unit comes with parking in garage and one parking pass, which is very nice when having people visit. The only thing this unit does not have is a BBQ. If it had one it would be perfect. We would recommend this unit to anybody.

The condo is a block form the beach with a great view from patio of ocean front. You can hear the waves crashing at night when you sleep. Condo was well setup for our family get together. We had 3 at the place and 2 more staying at hotel around the corner. Condo was large enough for us to have several meals at the condo for all 5 of us.

This Avila Beach condo was clean, spacious, and had everything our family needed for a perfect vacation stay in Avila. The host was easy to reach for last minute questions. The decor and furniture and bedrooms were clean, and comfortable. We rented the second floor condo which came with a parking pass for parking in their little lot, but also, came with use of a one-car garage which was handy because we were at Avila during Cal Poly Graduation and the place was packed that weekend. We loved it! We will rent from this company again for sure.

We have stayed at this property two times. The views and location cannot be beat! The property is clean and stocked with everything you will need for your stay. We enjoyed doing the puzzles from the games closet on the rainy days.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at 90 San Luis St. C., and it is always a joy. So conveniently close to the water and promenade, that you can walk right down for a morning coffee at Kraken, or breakfast at the Custom House. Had take out one evening at Ocean Grill, and the property had all the things you need to enjoy a family-style meal at the large dining room table. Couple quick notes: save your rental agreement so that you know what is expected of you for checking out. Unlike most VRBO’s, this property does not have a welcome binder with the procedures. There’s only a lucite placard that tells you the wifi code/laundry room code, and information on contacting the property management. Second, make sure you read through the house amenities provided when you’re considering the property so you know what to expect - there is no grill, nor a grilling pan, so don’t expect to be BBQ’ing steak/chicken/fish. And, like 99% of the properties in Avila, there is NO A/C. Do not be confused by the wall mounted thermostat that makes you think there is! Not sure if that’s disengaged for rental, but regardless you don’t get to use it. We love love LOVE this property! We’ve come to Avila for over 20 years and this is by far our favorite place to stay. Come enjoy the best kept secret beach in California!!

This property is absolutely amazing. The unit was spacious, well decorated and equipped. The location was unbelievable and we loved sitting in the deck and staring at the ocean. We celebrated our sons engagement right down the street on the beach and we loved being so close by. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

It was just perfect for us! With four not so little kids, the two bathroomns was a BIG plus! Everything was very tidy and comforatable. We will book it again. The owner needs to update several things especially the two rugs. They are old, dirty and stained. The large kitchen garbage can was old, stained and broken. We were pleasantly surprised to walk into this unit and see how well appointed it is, and how large the deck! Truly, the pictures shown are not very good and they would benefit from adding some indoor pics with the new furniture. The interior is more lovely and spacious than appear on the photos. The view from the personal balcony was breathtaking. We used the supplied barbque to grill burgers our first night and the well stocked kitchen to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. The provided beautiful dinnerware and dish washer allowed us elegant table settings without a paper plate in site. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained.I received excellent customer service with quick and friendly replies to all communications. I have and will recommend this property to friends and family. I know that they will also enjoy long walks on the beach, boogie boarding, sand castle building, the Bob Jones Trail, morning coffee from Jo Mama's, ice cream from the local ice cream parlor, shopping, gathering around the table for board games, or watching a movie on tv. We all agreed that it was our best holiday, so far.
