Loved the location but was unaware of a homeless tent camp about 3 blocks away, and we have 3 kids under 12. They didn’t bother us and no negative interactions with the transients at all.

Spacious 2 bedroom condo right in downtown Nelson. Really well appointed and perfect for the 4 of us. Only downside was all the stairs.

It was in the heart of Nelson, just mins walk to restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and a grocery store. We are a family of four and had a comfortable stay. The owners were quick to respond when we contacted them. We will be back!

Excellent location, immaculately clean, beautifully appointed and comfortable - what more could you want? Pat and Sue's place was perfect for two couples visiting Nelson. Highly recommended!

Great property, location and area

Beautiful condo in the heart of Nelson. Very clean and new. Comfortable beds, spacious and just steps from Baker street and a 10 minute car ride to a couple of great beaches. Pat and Sue were awesome to deal with. Would 100% stay here again and again!!

You can’t ask for a better location! We were in town for a soccer tournament and we walked all over town and even to the soccer fields. Beautiful back patio to sit and have a drink or grill some dinner. Easy check in and check out process and wonderful communication with host. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at Baker St condo as a base to ski Whitewater. We loved the convenience of the apartment and the effort Pat and Sue have made to set it up . I cannot think of a thing that has been overlooked . Nelson is a wonderful town, and the apartment is in the most perfect position to explore all that Nelson has to offer

We had a wonderful stay in Pat and Sue’s condo. We took both condos to accommodate our family, and it worked very well. Easy access to everything Baker Street has to offer. Pat and Sue were very good hosts, communicating regularly given our arrival delay due to the winter snow storm.

Wonderful! Very roomy, great amenities in the suite, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and luxurious. Pat and Sue were an absolute delight to deal with - friendly, available, and professional. One of the best properties my family has ever stayed at!

We loved the location of this unit; so easy to park the car and just walk everywhere. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the unit itself is beautifully appointed. Check in details were thorough, and communication with Pat & Sue was fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Everything was great: huge deck for nightcaps or early morning coffee/ walking distance to great food and drinking spots/comfy beds. Can not say enough how great of a stay it was.

We enjoyed our stay @ Baker Street Lodge. We found the Condo was exactly as listed on VRBO. The owners were very Positive & responsive to our needs. Condo was ideally suited for exploring the restaurants & stores in downtown Nelson.

What a great rental. Central to downtown, walking distance to most of the city. Unfortunately for most of the day it was just too hot (40c) to enjoy the deck, but it was great at night after dinner. The pace was the perfect size for a small family or two couples. Place was perfectly stocked with everything we could need. Appliances were brand new and spotless. Beds were extremely comfortable. And the unit was quiet inside with windows closed. There is an outdoor bar across the alleyway and down the hill, but it was only barely audible in the background when we sat on the deck. We could not hear it in the unit. One entrance in the alley, which may sound odd, but a great deal of Nelson is either off or in an alley. Well lit and never felt unsafe. The other entrance opens right onto Baker Street at the Broken Hill Restaurant. Could have stayed here more than a week easily.

Great family or couples spot. Close to everything, great property and host! Very thankful for the air conditioning!

We had the most amazing stay. The condo is so well stocked, with kitchen tools, towels, extra bedding and laundry soap. Clean and very tastefully decorated. Close everything downtown. There a few flights of stairs to climb to get to condo, but worth the climb.

Poor Parking especially to load and unload vehicle. Two sets of stairs to carry up supplies. Very noisy between 6 and 8 in morning, supply trucks in lane. BBQ was very dirty. House needs a deep clean. Had to pay extra for the dog that we were not made aware of prior to payment. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Could have used a few more dishes for 5 people. Otherwise good stay.

We fell in love as soon as we walked inside. Very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Perfect location and enjoyed the nice patio with the live music from Hume Hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

Everything was as described or better. Owners are highly responsive. The apartment is exceedingly well equipped.

This was a very comfortable accommodation - 5 stars despite my comments. The positives were the great kitchen, wonderful gas stove, easy to cook with everything you could want and nice connection with the television room and views to the outdoors. The master bedroom was very comfortable and private and lovely to have the views to the deck and fresh air via the large sliding door. The positives far outweigh the negatives, but in an effort to provide an honest review I do need to mention a few things. The accommodation could have been a little cleaner. There were many cat hairs (or what I think was cat hair) on the bedding and the baseboards had a lot of dust on the top edge, giving the feeling that a deep clean had not been done. The other big negative is that the 2nd bedroom does not have any storage (no closet and no dresser) and most importantly no window or second means of escape in case of fire. This is not allowed in the USA as you must provide an egress window. The LVT flooring had many gaps and in a few places was raised. Some of the furniture, although comfortable, was already showing wear, so I'm not sure how long it will last. Many times the exit hallway to the alley smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. But overall it was 5 stars because it was very comfortable, good appliances and HVAC, a great kitchen to cook in, super quiet and a perfect location. I only mention the negatives in an effort to be helpful, but we really had a great stay! We would love to return. Thank you!

Great downtown location. superior finishes and linens, super kitchen, well equipped for a rental. Access a little difficult (up 2 flights of stairs). Parking problematic.

We were so happy to be able to stay in this apartment for a snowy Christmas in Nelson. We were a group of 5 adults and we found the suite to be spacious with lots of storage room. It has a huge and well-stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. With a group of 5 one of us slept on a cot in the living room. There are 2 bathrooms with very nice showers and a good soaker tub. Living room was comfortable and had lots of room for board games and movie nights. The location couldn’t be better - right on Baker Street yet very private and quiet. I recommend this place and would stay here again.
