Our daughter and son-in-law are expecting later this year, so they let us take them on a babymoon to the beautiful north shore of Kauai. The unit was perfect for 2 couples, and we had a both active and restful week enjoying all that Kauai north shore has to offer. We'll be back!

What a peaceful place. The ocean surf crashing sunsets and a constant breeze made this stay so relaxing. We traveled in Feb and saw numerous whales and dolphins right from the balcony. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Check out the hidden private beach, it was beautiful. A gem for sure!

We have stayed here quite a few times over the past years and it never fails to disappoint. Booking was easy, communication was easy, check-in was easy, unit is well stocked and very clean. What a charming condo with lovely views in a perfect location! We loved walking to Hideaways Beach. Just a quick 10 minute drive Hanalei. Perfect for our family of 5. Beach chairs and boogie boards were a plus. So was washer/dryer. We’d definitely rent here again.

Condo was awesome - watched whales, dolphins, birds, and surfers from the unbeatable balcony; snorkled with the turtles, explored the tide pools, and what are on the middle. beach. All without leaving home. A short drive took us to all the hiking, swimming, body surfing, and birding that our hearts could handle. It was a struggle to pack up and leave. Thank you so much for letting us stay - we’ll definitely be back.

We had a good but not outstanding stay. The view was fantastic and the condo was well equipped--beach chairs & towels, binoculars, coolers, snorkeling gear, well stocked kitchen. Sadly, as it turned out, the lack of AC made it hard to sleep. Our research had suggested that since we were right on the water, it would be comfortable at night, but it didn't really turn out that way. At this price point, the owner should consider adding AC.

The condo is lovely, the views of the ocean and mountains are stunning and it is in very close proximity to hideaways beach and the town. We loved our stay.

Overall a great option when visiting the north side of Kauai! The view of the ocean is amazing and the walk down to the beach is an extra bonus. The neighborhood is beautiful and a lot of people out walking and running the paths. The condo is well stocked and comfortable. Just note that there are stairs to get to the front door and a very small landing inside the front door so you have to go down or up stairs upon entering the condo. The parking lot is close so we just made more trips with luggage. Definitely would stay here again!

We have stayed in Kauai many times before, and this condo was our favorite. Excellent location and views, comfortable living space for our family of four, and a great host. It exceeded expectations, and we would love to stay here again!

The view, the location, and the vibe far surpass the web descriptions. The condo is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and the balcony space is amazing! Cash is a great host who is genuinely invested in making sure you enjoy your stay.

We stayed at 4 properties over our two week vacation in Hawaii islands and this was our favourite. The view was unbeatable and we could even see whales from the lanai while having our morning coffee. The bathrooms were nicely renovated and the furnishings were solid wood/hawaiian style with very comfortable beds. There is no air conditioning but it wasn’t a problem as you get wonderful ocean breezes coming through the lanai all day. The condo also had ceiling fans and standing fans in all rooms. The only thing that could be improved is the wifi. Signal was very spotty in the upstairs bedroom.

We were truly excited to stay at this place because of the amazing view. However, when we arrived, we found dirty / stained towels, rust over the front of the washing machine, and the place was extremely dirty and hot. This was too much for our group to overcome so we decided to find a different place to stay. We informed the property manager of the lack of cleanliness (didn’t address the heat in the space as we knew it wasn’t air conditioned) once we found a different place to stay. This was a 3 night stay so we requested a refund due to lack of cleanliness. I’m sure the property manager will reply to this review stating they didn’t have a chance to resolve the issue before we decided to change our accommodations. In reality, the owner and property manager had that chance before we entered the property. It shouldn’t require the customer to complain to notice that a “professionally cleaned” space included dirty / stained towels. I’m sure the property manager will also reply to this review stating that we took showers in the place. This is true as we were tight on time and had been out exploring the island that day. We picked through to find the cleanest towels we could find, took showers before dinner, and left the property. I see from past reviews that many have enjoyed this space and I truly hope others can in the future. I just wish this owner / property manager would do the right thing with a partial refund due to lack of cleanliness.

I have stayed five times at different condos in Pali Ke Kua and love the spectacular location. We did have a lot more rain this time - two days of deluge in the afternoon. But we were able to go out, do a lot of fun things and have a relaxing vacation.

We were looking for a place to book after our first night at Hanalei Beach Resort which was a basement no view mtn or ocean grimy / rusty / just awful room - and found this place! Cash was an awesome responsive flexible person to communicate with - let us put our stuff in early - and was just normal and real about helping us out as we on the fly that morning were debating on moving - Cash’s prompt responses and flexibility made it happen! The vibe - view - experience was outstanding - really made a difference to wake up see across Hanalei bay to the mountains - just awesome. The walk from the car was super short when hauling all your stuff. Fabulous location - would 100% stay here again. Beach chairs - cooler were total bonus.

Views are incomparable and access to the private beach is terrific. Cash, the property manager, is absolutely the best! We have already booked our return for next summer!

On our 3rd visit to PKK on Kauai, we brought the kids this time (13 and 12), and PKK 202 was the perfect home base for our adventures. Clean and decorated with wood & wicker, this particular unit is our FAVORITE so far. New laminate floor in the master bedroom was a nice upgrade, looks fantastic! Being up off the ground floor, you get a better view of the ocean and sunset from this unit, and every evening we sat for the spectacular color show as the clouds drifted in front of the setting & setted sun. Owner was the best, very helpful and a great communicator. He helped us find a rental vehicle off-site from the airport and supported our questions and travel details with great care. Traveling to the island and staying in one of the few spots where you can see the summer sunset on the north shore (both on the balcony and in the kitchen) is the gift of a lifetime, we are so grateful to have stayed there on 3 different trips, and our gratitude extends to Cash and his family for being such gracious hosts. Great setup for our family of 4! Property was in an awesome location. Sunset and sunrise views from the lanai, hike down to a great snorkeling beach, and is quick drive to Hanalei. Princeville and Hanalei are unbelievably beautiful places and no picture does it justice. Small things to note that didn’t bother us…Sun gets hot in the late afternoon/evening and just need to draw the shades. Friendly geckos are on the deck, entry and ceiling at nightfall. It’s a condo so you have neighbors to the sides and below…very quite and peaceful place.

My wife, two kids and I had an incredible stay. The view is second to none, the property has a nice pool and great restaurant within ~100 yards, and the location is close to plenty of varying beaches. The owner was also very helpful and communicative. Hope to stay again!

Please take note this property doesn’t have air conditioning. They don’t claim that they do and that’s my fault for assuming. Unfortunately I think we encountered a perfect storm of events the night we checked in. It was a hot day and unusually humid compared to all the other days of our trip. The condo has some slat windows to allow cross breeze and we found them closed and all the curtains open as the afternoon sun cooked the condo. It felt dangerously hot that first night as respite couldn’t be achieved with the fans provided. My husband sat with his face beat red as sweat dripped off of him. Sleeping was difficult. I give two stars because everything was fine after that first night. We got the windows open and curtains closed. Thankfully Mother Nature also cooled it off with refreshing breezes. Otherwise I would have given 1 star and we would’ve been forced to find other accommodations. I don’t think the extreme conditions we had to endure that first night was something anyone would expect from a rental of any kind. I’ve never experienced anything like this in all of my travels. When I think of all of the money spent on this rental, I just can’t believe it. I strongly recommend the owner of this condo considers installing air conditioning. Even on the best of days, I don’t think cooking dinner in that beautiful kitchen or grilling out on that patio is very realistic without air conditioning. There has to be a way of cooling off for these things.
