This was our 18th summer trip to Kelowna and the first time we had picked a rental property from VRBO (or any other rental by owner). The unit was exactly what was advertised, the location was great. Having a boat and a place to dock right at the location was a must for our family. We would recommend this unit to our friends.

Owners are fantastic to deal with. Location was good, view was also good. We enjoy this resort and in general it is kept very well. Property itself could have been cleaner - but we are clean freaks - so take that comment with a grain of salt. Would I stay in the property again - absolutely.

Excellent location, hosts were easy to deal with and responsive, this condo was also well appointed - we had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was very clean except for the floors which I washed on our first night and the master bedroom pillows which also needed a wash but we didn’t realize this until we stripped the bed (as requested in the check out list) so I guess it didn’t really impact our stay. The grounds, pool, pool bathrooms and beach were also clean and well maintained.

We recently stayed at this property and was pleased with our experience. The property suited our needs for, the four of us, and the bedrooms were nice and big, accommodating us nicely. The view from the property was great and well situated, with good access to fabulous wineries, grocery shopping, and activities. However, we did notice that the property could use a bit of maintenance and was showing signs of age. Most concerning was the cleanliness of the property, we are unsure of when the floor was last cleaned as our socks/feet were black from walking around! Also, we washed most dishes prior to use, as they had food residue. Kitchen was relatively well stocked, unfortunately both can-openers provided were non-functional. Screen doors to patio are significantly damaged, and challenging to open and close. Additionally, if you are bringing a second vehicle, finding additional parking off-site can be a bit tricky. Despite a hefty cleaning fee, guest are expected to initiate loads of Landry and strip all beds. 11am check out, however, in-suite instructions advise that cleaners may access suite as early as 10am. (Concerning, but this did not affect our Plans)

We came with our family a a bunch of friends who rented within the complex. The condo is well situated with a beautiful view. This unit requires some work as there was missing towel racks, holes in the closet and the screen was broken. Once these minor fixes are made this unit would be a 5 star! Highly reccomend this area for families.

We stayed for a week. Great resort for a family trip. Our host was very responsive and helpful throughout the trip. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at Barona a few times, and it has always been a great time! The location is ideal, and amenities (grocery, restaurants, etc.) are close. The AC did break down, but David the owner was very prompt in his communication with us and did his best to rectify. It really was beyond his control as we were in heat warnings and the system just couldn't keep up. Fans were provided, and he was very empathetic. Having the pool and lake right there made all the difference. We would highly recommend staying here, especially for a young family.

Best location in Kelowna

Family found the condo roomy, yet feels that this condo needs a bit of routine maintenance to knock it to a 5 star rating. We loved the beach access, salt water pool, views and walking options around the property. Parking was an issue for guests at times as well as our second family vehicle. Good access to awesome wineries, grocery shopping and activties.

Relaxing, comfortable condo with heated pool and lovely view of Lake Okanagan. Easy drive to several wineries including Mission Hill. Easy access to Highway 97 to access other communities in the valley.

We spent a week at the Barona Beach Condo, very happy with the size of the condo and the view. The listing is very accurate, and the condo looks just like the pictures. The only thing we would mention is that the screen door handles for the patio were broken and the screen as well so we could keep the patio doors open, and for the price the condo could come a bit more stocked with Toilet paper, garbage bags etc. We had a few issues with the TVs but not a huge problem as we never watched much and David was great and address the concern right away! Other than that we loved our time at the condo and property!!

Beautiful property!

It is clear that this property has been recently undated. The furnishings were modern, the walls have recently been repainted and the beds are wonderful. A big YES to anyone wondering if this property will meet their needs.

Beautiful view of the lake and you can't beat the proximity. We spend a bunch of time on the lake and it was so easy to just walk down and get on the boat, no hassle.

The place came as advertised. The suite is in great shape and came fully equipped with everything we needed for our family of four. David and Catherine were great hosts and readily available for any questions we may have had.

Everything was as outlined and the hosts are wonderful people, would recommend this suite to anyone!

We had a wonderful time! The pool and hot tub were so great for us as it kept our son so busy every day and he got to play and make new little friends! Even when the weather was a bit cooler/rainy, the pool was nice and warm and allowed us not to be cooped up all day. The bedrooms were nice and big and really accommodated us perfectly. Would definitely book here again!

Great condo in W Kelowna — on the lake, pool, all very nice. Our friends from Alberta will return as their preferred property when visiting the Okanagan.

Our family of four adults enjoyed a week's stay in this very clean, comfortable and well equipped condo. Great view of the large pool, lovely gardens and lake. Convenient location close to wineries and other places of interest, plus local shops and only a short drive into downtown Kelowna.
