Peaceful retreat near Lake Austin and Lake Travis. Fifteen minutes to downtown.
Notre propriété est située juste à l'ouest du centre-ville d'Austin et notre maison et notre maison d'hôtes sont situées sur 2 1/4 acres. Nous l'avons appelé Campo de Paz (Lieu / Pays de la Paix), car il un endroit très tranquille et l'espace. Ici, vous êtes juste à l'extérieur l'agitation de la ville, mais assez proche pour profiter du meilleur des deux mondes; vous ressourcer à la campagne ou explorer tout ce que Austin a à offrir. Mieux encore, faire les deux! Le choix t'appartient! Vous êtes à quelques minutes du lac de Austin, le lac Travis, The Hill Country Galleria, et beaucoup de grands restaurants. Détendez-vous sur votre terrasse privée et regarder pour le cerf! Écouter les hiboux et au printemps, vous pourriez être assez chanceux pour entendre les engoulevents. Le charme d'une chambre (environ 255 pieds carrés), une salle de bain maison d'hôtes est meublée d'un lit queen confortable, de plain-pied dans la douche, beaucoup d'espace de placard, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, cafetière et bouilloire électrique. café Gourmet Nespresso et une sélection de thés Tazo sont fournis. Beautiful slice of hill country right outside the city. Carolyn and Cap kindly greeted me on my arrival and made sure I'll be comfrotable for my stay. They were so kind to offer refreshments and made sure I there was a plate of Carolyns famous cookies. The hype is real!
The house is close enough to get ubers to the city, and far out enough that the state parks are driving distance. Thanks again!

This place was great! The pics don’t do it justice. It’s quite bright and cozy. The high ceilings make this place feel much more spacious. Fantastic decor and ambience. The bed was comfortable. She greeted us with cookies that were soooo good! My only complaint is there are dishes like there’s a kitchen but no kitchen sink. You have to wash dishes in the bathroom sink, which isn’t the end of the world. Just know that ahead of time going into it. We bought dinner and didn’t realize. Otherwise, this place is perfect.

Great location! Centrally located to Downtown Austin, Dripping Springs, & Lake Travis--- this cozy retreat was ideal for a busy trip. I even got to take advantage of the deck and enjoy a beverage outside before bed a night or two. So peaceful. Carolyn and Cap were great hosts and checked in on me during my stay... Campo de Paz was the perfect calm, quiet getaway that we needed. It's beautifully decorated, the shower is amazing! and the surroundings are lovely. We sat outside with our coffee each morning and watched the birds, squirrels, and deer.

Awesome Place for a Peaceful Stay.
Awesome place, very tranquil setting in the woods but just a short drive for dining, etc. Carolyn and Cap were the most gracious hosts and the homemade chocolate chips were a nice plus. Beautiful cabin decorated nicely with all the amenities you need. It was so peaceful as we sat on the porch with a glass of wine and watched deer roam thru.

Peaceful retreat
We came for a relaxing weekend away and that is exactly what we got. This property is quiet, perfectly comfortable and in a great location if you want something close to the city. The hosts are so great. I have never stayed in a VRBO as well maintained as this. There is a lot of natural light in this space so bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in. Perfect stay for two!

Wonderful Valentines weekend stay in Austin!
We traveled to Austin for a weekend getaway and found this wonderful place to stay. Carolyn and Cap sent me an email the week before our arrival and asked me to text her when we arrived. They met us on the porch and welcomed us to their home. They gave us a brief overview of how to work the coffee maker, TV, and heater/AC unit, and showed us where they had left us a bottle of milk in the fridge for our coffee if we needed it, some homemade cookies that Carolyn had made (they were delicious and we at every one of them) and even a complementary bottle of wine as our valentines day gift. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The location is just outside of Austin, so are are still close enough to everything, but far enough away from the city to be in a very peaceful surroundings.

Campo De Paz was a great place to stay for ACL! The property was quiet and peaceful. The place was updated and clean. The owners are amazing, so sweet and accommodating, they left a hand written note and made delicious cookies to welcome us! They also made great recommendations for local adventures, and even went out of their way to send some personal items that back to me that I left after our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Austin!

Peaceful stay
We enjoyed our stay at Campo de Paz! Carolyn and Cap were super friendly couple who are renting out a nice in-law section of their property. It was very peaceful with a private porch. The owners wanted us to text them when we arrived so they could show us around and left the thoughtful touch of a hand-written note with homemade cookies in the room. They kept a list of nearby restaurants and told us of a nature trail we could have (and would have if we had time) walked through the woods. I gave the accuracy of the online listing 4 out of 5 stars only because I didn't realize there wasn't a full kitchen available. We brought food to cook breakfast for ourselves and didn't use it; it was not a big deal--we went to the quaintest, little delicious coffee shop for breakfast down the street, The Civil Goat. We would easily return again!

Beautiful and peaceful getaway
Cap and Carolyn’s place had everything we needed for our weekend. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was so nice! And don’t get me started on Carolyn’s cookies. I even ate those for breakfast both days we were there. The other little touches were much appreciated. It was storming for part of our stay so we didn’t get to explore the property much but from what I could see, it looked really peaceful. We would love to stay here again when in town.

Peaceful, relaxing getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Campo de Paz!! This is a beautiful, well-decorated house situated on a lovely, private piece of property. We saw four deer on our walk and enjoyed watching the birds while we sat on the deck. Cap and Carolyn are very welcoming hosts who have thought of every detail! We also opted to add breakfast to our stay, and everything was so good! We would definitely recommend this little retreat!!

Perfect place for a little getaway. Close to all Austin has to offer but when you are on the deck at Campo de Paz, it feels like you are in the countryside. We saw deer grazing in the yard! Wonderful stay.
