Very clean for an older building. Just what we needed. Simple and quick walk to the beach.

We had a great stay. Accommodated us and our two pets very well. Prompt communication. Easy walk to the beach. Nice yard although it's not fully fenced. Best to bring your own bathroom toiletries.

We enjoyed our stay. The trailer is outdated, but clean and comfortable. Pros: Nice property, clean, most everything needed to prepare and consume meals. Bedding is comfortable, although the bed frame in the master is older and a little noisy, it wasn't an issue tbh. Cons: Outdated trailer that could use some modern touches. Black mold in the bathroom near the tub and found hair in the tub (a pet peeve for me is a very clean bathroom, but the hair in the tub was my only issue with the cleanliness of the trailer.) There is no wifi, which we agreed would prevent us from ever booking here again. The only form of entertainment is a very small TV and DVD player (the owners provide some DVD's to choose from.) Would have been nice to have cable or a way to stream Netflix. Not a con per se, but would have liked to have a salt shaker, instead of the entire container. Made seasoning our food more challenging. Also, would have been nice to have a baster for our grilled foods (we brought our own grill, but didn't think to bring a baster.) The proximity of the beach makes it a good deal for the price.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. First of all they don't cable or wifi, I know that was in the description but I think it should be more prominent. It was a quite run down property, the outside needs a good wash down and while the kitchen was clean the bathroom was grungy, there was mold in the corners and in the grouting the toilet roll holder was very rusty and the whole place smelled of damp. I had to wash all our clothes even the clean ones as everything smelled of damp. I certainly would never go back here.

We enjoyed the location. The wood furniture was a little hard, made it difficult to get comfortable on. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, that is where we spent most of our days. The beach was not very busy which was nice to be able to walk and listen to the waves.

It was the perfect little house for our 1st anniversary. We had a couple friends stay with us and the proximity to the marina was good. Will definitely rent again

The property was as advertised. Nothing fancy but pleasant. Yard was nice and we watched 4 hummingbirds fly around. It had everything we needed except for the communication (phone/Wi-Fi issues) As they said there was no Wi-Fi, but we also had almost no cell signal so that was difficult. Really need one or the other. I would suggest owners get Wi-Fi and use less strong room deodorizers or free breeze. Otherwise it was great.

This is my friend and my fourth or fifth time at this property, always great, never want to stay anywhere else. Love the town of Grayland and our little home away from home!

The house was very clean and provided everything you need. We enjoyed the DVDs and puzzles provided by the host. The nearby beach was close enough to walk and wasn't over populated.

Great little beach house! Well stocked with essentials. Nice neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. This is a dog friendly VRBO (which is great!), however, if you have a sensitivity to smells, this may not work for you. Keep in mind that this is an older house (trailer) in damp conditions so associated smells are likely common. Beach chairs, mats, sand toys, beach wagon would have been a great addition for those who have families. Plenty of hot water! Beds and linen were clean! You will be asked to do a little exit cleaning but it wasn’t much and most guests would do those things without being asked. Thanks!

This is our second time staying here and we love it. We came out in November and being there in the summer was fun too. Got to enjoy the fire pit in spite of the wind and make s’mores.

The size and location were perfect. Outside was pretty darn good. There were doggie piles there that could have been from neighborhood dogs that came around a lot. I picked up our pups poop every time, but found others and tried to get them as well. Our biggest complaint would be, that there were a lot of "dust bunnies" on the floor and the bathtub, the drain had hair in it and there was "crude" in the corners. A little dirty. Very comfortable beds:-) The futons and chairs-hard, couch very comfortable. Nice little kitchen. Thank you so much:-)

This cottage has character. Hand made dish clothes, assorted colored/print towels & washcloths; smooth, soft bed linens; comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen, including coffee! There was nothing we needed that was not there. Good assortment of DVD’s for evening entertainment or when not enjoying the beach. We definitely hope to return soon.

Terrible. Rented for two nights and returned home after one night.

It was a great place to stay. Nice and close to the beach. We all had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

Good location, worked well for our bunch. Had some car trouble and the owner stepped right up to help us out. That is really a plus when there are not a lot of people around. Had we only had one car it could have ruined the whole vacation. thank you, we will be back,

This is a remodeled mobile home that was clean and had everything needed. The neighborhood is quiet and the yard was great. Excellent location with a short walk to a path onto the beach.

Great visit and property for a beach trip!

Was very impressed with the cleanliness. Was walking distance to the beach if we wanted and short drive if we decided on that route. We went to clean up ashes and found no shovel to do so, that was the only downfall for us.

Access to the beach was perfect!

The musty, mildew odors were so strong that everything we took into the rental would smell. I opened most of the windows for several days to air the place out but that didn’t seem to help. In our opinion the bed and furniture were uncomfortable. We left two days earlier than planned as we both had enough. It was obvious to us that there appears to be a lack of concern for the well being and comfort of their guests. What a disappointment.

beds were very soft and uncomfortable - living room furniture was the same - cushions were so soft they were useless and provided no padding for the hard frame. Overall the place felt sad and neglected...

My husband and I love this place. We have stayed in it 2x now, and will be back.

Went out to get away for a long weekend and had a great time, the place is rustic but well kept - location is what got us, quiet and close to the beach. Will come again...

I really would rather leave no review than a bad one. However, this property was completely unacceptable for the high price per night. Half the price per night would be more appropriate. It has a very musty smell (everything had to go in the washer when we came home, even clean cloths) The furniture was very uncomfortable (I took cushions and set them on top of each other so we did not feel like we were on a bench) Beds were uncomfortable, and linen (sheets and towels) were scratchy. Thermostat was broken and even though I reset it several times it would allow the furnace to over heat the set temperature by 5 degrees or would let it get cold. The ad states to check availability for internet, but it doesn’t tell you that you won’t have cell phone coverage (in an emergency this is a problem, since there is no land line either) The show head is about 5 feet from the floor of the tub, so my daughter and husband had to bend over to get their heads and shoulders wet. The mat in the tub was slippery which was dangerous. There, also, was mold in the grout. The heavy drawers on the dresser were not installed properly and one came out and fell on my foot. Cooking utensils are warped and flimsy. But the thing that topped it off was that I paid a substantial cleaning fee but was given a whole list of cleaning duties to do myself. I went on vacation to rest, not clean. When I saw the list, and then the state of the house I actually wondered if the house was sanitized, or cleaned after the last guest, before I arrived. The plus for this property is that it is three blocks from the beach, so it is definitely within walking distance.

We will be back.

We stayed for two nights for a clam digging getaway with our black lab. Just a short walk to the beach from the house and the yard was perfect for games of fetch. Nice and quiet for reading and we did enjoy the DVD selection. We will be back.
