Bienvenue à Doe - A - Deer Lodge à Jay NY! Venez séjourner dans cette belle maison en pin noueux de 6 chambres, 3 salles de bains, dans les Adirondacks! Que vous soyez au ski, à la randonnée, à la pêche, à l'exploration ou tout simplement en famille ou au chalet, c'est le lieu de résidence idéal. Après une journée de visites, rentrez chez vous dans ce havre de paix et détendez-vous dans l’étonnante grande salle de deux étages chauffée par un plancher chauffant! Nous avons tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un excellent séjour. En 2019, nous avons mis à jour de nouveaux appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, des comptoirs en granit, du carrelage au niveau principal, du tapis au niveau supérieur, un grand téléviseur en cuir et un téléviseur à écran plat! Installez-vous confortablement devant le grand foyer en pierre ou faites griller des guimauves sur la terrasse du foyer extérieur! Nous fournissons tous les draps, serviettes, shampoing, savon, etc. La maison dispose de 6 chambres (1 lit king, 4 reines et une chambre avec lits superposés avec 6 jumeaux). Assurez-vous de profiter du grand bain à remous dans la salle de bain principale! Nous avons des tonnes de jeux de société pour des soirées familiales amusantes et même des jouets pour les plus petits! Nous pouvons accueillir 16 personnes confortablement. Si nécessaire, nous avons également deux lits pliants surdimensionnés pour deux invités supplémentaires. Nous avons câble Spectrum, WiFi, Roku, Netflix.

Our group had a nice time during our stay at Doe-A-Deer. The house was nice and spacious and had everything we needed. The only major negative was there was a bunch of mouse poop on the floor in the corners of the bunk bed room. Housekeeping should do a deeper clean of the space here and there and not just clean the middle of the rooms.

We had a great time at Doe-A-Deer. The common spaces are big & open, lots of room and light. Great set-up for 5 couples and kids (room with 6 beds- 3 sets of bunks).
Aria was a great host! Everything was ready for us and communication was great.
Plenty of hiking trails nearby, including a couple in the neighborhood.
Highly recommend!

Place is very nice, fully equip with all the things you need for a comfortable stay and close to all the outdoor activities in the area. Only inconvenience we encountered was the place is not ready when we checkin at 4pm, as the cleaning crew was still there, we have to come back in an hour. Other than that, it is a very nice place for a big group, will consider to come back next time.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Our family travels biannually for “Cousins Camp” to various locations around the US and when we thought of the Adirondacks this home was a perfect match.
The space was big enough for everyone, kids and teens stayed in the bunk room, the rest of the folks had bedrooms with very comfortable beds. There were loads of pillows and blankets if you need them. The living area has a huge couch where we all snuggled in the evenings to wind down with some Netflix, and the kitchen (which I lovingly refer to as a 2 butt kitchen) met our cooking needs.
The area had spotty cell service, but the house had WiFi that could handle all of our needs.
We spent our days out exploring Lake Placid, Fort Ticonderoga, Montreal, Canada and stayed local for the last day and spent a few hours at the Jay Covered Bridge swimming and climbing the rocks. It was gorgeous and is a great way to get energy out without much driving.
Aria was a fantastic host and was prompt with her responses and overall communication. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Doe-a-deer lodge to anyone looking for a little time in the woods.

The property was beautiful and a perfect setting for a long weekend getaway with friends. Property was big enough for 6 couples to getaway for the week. Relax by the fire pit outside or the outside fire place. Large table to play card games and we’ll stocked kitchen to make meals for us all. Property owners were awesome and responsive when we had a question. Thank you so much for a great weekend in your beautiful home.

A December to remember. We had such an amazing time in your home. Thank you! Everything was exactly as listed. The beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all the pots and dishes we needed. Also very clean.

We were four families, with three sets of twins between us. All of the children had a ball, and loved that they got to sleep in the bunkbed room! The house was clean and aria was very attentive and responded very quickly. We made awesome memories in this property and will definitely return

The cabin is truly beautiful and spacious. Its a great escape and well-stocked. We enjoyed spending time with friends at this location and would visit again!

Excellent spot for a family vacation
This is the second time I have rented this property for an annual family vacation. The house comfortably fits 14 people, has everything you could possibly need and is in a perfect location. We love staying here and recommend it highly. Aria is wonderful and easy to communicate with. I hope to stay a third time next summer!

Long weekend get away our family
This was the perfect house for a long weekend trip with our family. The house comfortably fit 14 people and was in the perfect location. We visited the town of Lake Placid, swam the Flumes in Wilmington and climbed Jay Peak. We also spent time around the fire pit at night and fell asleep to the sound of Great Horned Owls. The property was very clean and exactly as advertised. I would definitely stay there again.

The home is laid out nicely, with open space on the lower level and privacy on the second level where the bedrooms are located. There is a nice sized deck which allowed for additional gathering space.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped.

The owner checked in with me during our stay to answer questions and made sure that we were comfortable. She was very accommodating.

Amazing winter getaway
We had a wonderful long weekend in the Adirondacks, the house was perfect and a great home base for our family. Aria was extremely responsive and helpful with a minor heating issue that she helped us resolve right away. Would definitely stay here again, thanks for a much needed visit to the mountains!

Perfect Ski Getaway!
Great house, great location, great owners. The layout of the house is perfect for socializing and relaxing in front of the fire after a long fun day of skiing. It was very well equipped and the beds were super comfortable! We are looking forward to coming back next year for our annual Dacks ski trip.

Fabulous family winter getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at Doe A Deer. We were two families, 4 adults 6 kids 10-16. We walked in and everyone right away was so happy. It was absolutely gorgeous. Exactly as pictured actually even better in person if you can imagine that. Spacious clean decorated so beautifully. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable the kitchen was absolutely perfect. There were so many seating areas my oldest son was able to spread out and study in the dining room while others ate or sat at the coffee bar. We enjoyed a fire every night in the huge fireplace in the great room. Aria responded to us immediately if we had any questions and was lovely to deal with. Everyone was skiing at Whiteface all day which was so close an 18 minute easy drive. 25 minutes into lake placid. We went a couple times. Overall we felt like lottery winners that we were able to stay here it enhanced our entire mini vacation we would absolutely stay here again and would love to come in the summer. I highly recommend!!

Great private getaway!
We rented this for my husbands 40th with our kids and a few other families. It was the perfect space to have privacy but still close enough to the things we wanted to do. The house was lovely and Aria was very responsive! Everyone kept saying they want to come back in the winter to enjoy the views from the big windows!

Beautiful house in the woods
We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and fully stocked with cookware, linens, games or anything else we could need. We had 12 adults and plenty of room. We especially loved our time on the deck and fires in the outdoor fireplace at night. My only complaint was that the air conditioning did not adequately cool upstairs bedrooms and it was hot while we were there. Otherwise, it is a beautiful house in a quiet wooded setting.
