I have passed this street uncountable times since living and visiting Atlanta since the late 1960's and never knew what a serene area this is while being minutes from anything you need (food, shopping, night life) with great access to get there. We cannot tell you what a thrill the front picture window provided as we had our morning coffee looking at the rolling hills as beautiful horses played to their hearts content. The accommodations were thoughtful and homey. We told all of our friends during our busy stay what a gem this is and truly hope we can return soon.

Traveled for a Nationals Volleyball Tournament (Big South) in Atlanta with our 16 year old daughter. We wanted a place we could relax, feel safe and rest between traveling to the Georgia World Congress Center for matches. This home was the perfect home away from home! So many cozy touches. Beds were extremely comfortable, has everything you need. And the rural surroundings are the perfect escape from the big city without being too far away. We highly recommend this home as a rental and will definitely be looking to rent this home in our future trips to the Atlanta area.

We had a great visit - Russ and Colleen’s place is spotless and that’s a mighty feat for a pet friendly home! The location to downtown was perfect and it really was a special treat to wake up to horses every morning! They really make sure their guests have everything they need and were great with communication - we would definitely stay here again!

From the beginning Russ was very accommodating and was able to meet some specific needs our family had. The house is small but the space is used very well- for example, the bathroom had great storage for toiletries and there was ample seating in the living room. One of the best features was the amazing fenced backyard - it was perfect for our dogs. The neighborhood is so cute and we really enjoyed walking across the street to see the horses (our dogs also loved watching them out the large front window) and walking throughout the neighborhood. We meet many friendly faces and felt safe the entire time. Great place, great hosts, would recommend!

Everything we needed in a clean and comfortable house. Colleen and Russ were quick to respond the the couple of questions I had.

Highly recommended, immaculately clean, obviously a much loved and cared about property. The owners are communicative when needed, but not obtrusive. The location is wonderful; close to restaurants, grocery, and Atlanta's attractions. We certainly will return to this little gem!

The large fenced in backyard was great for our two dogs that travel with us!

Colleen and Ross were wonderful and very accessible. My dog and I had to find temporary housing when a tree fell on my house. Colleen and Ross’s place fit the bill. We stayed for a month. Huge fenced in yard, doggie covers on all the sofas, and all the amenities. One thing is that you have to go outside to access the yard. Was not a big deal. Easy peasy. Waking up to see the horses across the street never got old. Thanks for the great accommodations.

I cannot say enough positive about this home! Beautiful views, both front and back, securely fenced in yard, which was perfect for dogs, quiet and lovely street. The hosts were amazing and communicative, the house is adorable and comfortable and clean. Truly, one of the most perfect spots I’ve ever stayed, and I am definitely staying here again when I go to Atlanta next summer.

So glad I found this property! After a horrific experience with another Vrbo property, this owner went above and beyond for my family! Great communication, very caring and really strives for all guests to have an outstanding stay. Very clean, had all the supplies for cooking as well. We were able to eat in several meals with no issues. The huge fenced in backyard was a huge plus since we traveled with our dog. Plus my children absolutely loved the horse farm literally across the street! Highly recommend, you will not regret it! Thank you again for such a wonderful stay! Would definitely stay again, no doubt about it!

We had an enjoyable time at the home. Loved the horses each morning across the street. Our grandchildren visited one at a time and w2e were able to provide personal time with each. Love to come back in the future.

We loved this clean comfortable pet friendly home to overnight in on our way to Florida. It was just outside of Atlanta, easy to locate and on beautiful quiet property. We’ll stocked with all necessities and then some, well maintained and a huge fenced in back yard perfect for our pup! We didn’t get to stay long so we didn’t see any horses but it was a beautifully landscaped property and lovely view. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet.

The home was perfect for our stay. The pups loved the backyard and Mom loved to watch the horses across the street. The neighborhood was really nice and safe, near grocery stores, restaurants and everything you could need. Easy access to central Atlanta. Overall great home and hosts! Thank you for making my best friend and her husband so comfortable during their stay! They loved the neighborhood, the view of the horses across the street, and the beautiful, clean home! It was the first time we’ve seen each other in person in almost a decade, they came for my vow renewal with my husband, and everything was magnificent! This home was two minutes from the apartment where my husband and I live, so they were close, but had their own space. No complaints whatsoever, would love to book again next time they come into town.

This was a great rental-our favorite so far. The house had everything we needed and more. Communication with the owners was great! Our pups really enjoyed the horses and the huge backyard. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful area in Decatur next to a horse farm. Quiet area and older home was equipped with current upgrades necessary for me to telecommute and spend time with my family.

Russ and Colleen were wonderful. They were willing to accommodate a last minute special request of ours. The house was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view each morning of horses grazing.

This was a great property! The house was full of charm and character. The unobstructed view of the horse park across the street was amazing. The backyard was large, flat and fenced in-perfect for our 2 dogs. Check in/check out was a breeze and the location could not have been better. We will definitely be back!

Logistics were straightforward and easy (checking in/out, etc) and the home worked out wonderfully to visit family in Tucker and drive into Atlanta for activities. 20 minutes to the aquarium (during what I assume was not the usual traffic). Great view of the horses across the street that both child and dogs loved. The big fenced in yard was perfect for the pups. The home was very pet friendly and AMAZINGLY clean! (Not always the case with pet friendly rentals, but not a dog hair to be found.) Finally, the neighborhood was great - friendly neighbors and lots of hills to run a few miles on if you’re into that. (Also a trail around the horse farm.) We would definitely try to rent again for our next trip.

We enjoyed being close to Decatur and Atlanta while being in a nice neighborhood with a great view. The home was so cozy and very clean with everything one needs. Very comfy beds also! The back yard is huge and great for dogs! Thanks for sharing your home!
