La Cuadra was comfortable and clean, the fridge was well stocked and its contents lasted all wee, which was a huge bonus - thank you! The location was excellent; private, secluded and quiet yet a short walk from the town of Agüimes. The surroundings were rural and really enjoyable. The pool was marvelous; clean and welcoming after a day walking in the stunning landscapes of Gran Canaria. The resident dogs were friendly and a lot of fun. We had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend the finca for those looking for something unique away from the tourist hotspots of the coast.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Nice location, right out of town but walking distance. Dogs of the owner are a lovely addition, if you line pets. They and other ones around might be noisy from time to time. It did not bother us but might be important to know for someone else. Heriberto is a really nice host, always available and can give you as many suggestions as you wish, about the area!

The location was good but it was hard to find as the photo in the advertisement shows a green door with the name of the property on it. In fact there is no name on the green door and there is at least one other green door in that road.

We enjoyed our stay at this Finca but as the owner does not live very close by, you have to be self-reliant in many ways. A manual giving information of the electrical appliances, shower, heating and cooker should be there in the event of a problem. Our power cut out at one point and we had to wait for the owner to come and reconnect the power circuit. There were 3 of the owners dogs in the compound which was integral to the Finca and where we stayed. We felt that the responsibility of making sure the dogs did not run away or not return once the main Finca gate had been opened by us to exit every day with our car, was onerous. We also felt that there were a number of kitchen and living room utensils that were missing and should have been provided, as a matter of course. Being the winter season, the Finca itself was cold with no heating in the main area, bedroom or bathroom. The owner did recognise this and provided us with one but it should have been there on arrival. The hot tub outside was not operational so we did not get to use this advertised facility.

Very welcoming. Provided copious amounts of food. Very secure. Accomodation had abundant appliances - coffee maker with pods provided, clothes washing machine, microwave, toaster. Semi-rural location, very charming and unique

This accommodation has spirit. For us, yes.....for another, it won't be a suitable place. It is purely rural housing, a short distance from the city. I assume it is a converted farm building. One apartment was created here. It is one pleasant room with a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. I don't need more! Everything is clean, fragrant, ready for guests. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lady owner and two adorable young dogs. The dogs kept us company. They are cuties.Two beautiful horses are stabled on the property. The owners take care of them with love and care. I like to see when animals are in really good hands. The peace, far from noisy tourist centers is priceless. You have to expect that the rooster will wake you up, you will hear barking. On the other hand, you won't be disturbed by discos, the roar of motorbikes...and also some tourists :-) Breakfast is included in the price. Don't expect someone to bring it right under your nose! You have at your disposal a fridge with food from which you can make breakfast according to your taste. Homemade eggs, ham, cheese, butter, jam, yogurts, juices, milk, tea, toast bread, sweet pastries.....we also found cans of beer in it :-) What else could you wish for? Simply put, if you want to sit under the stars in the evening, have the opportunity to swim in the pool, have complete privacy, definitely book this accommodation. Looking for luxury, breakfast in bed and an impersonal hotel room? Look elsewhere!!!! Here it is for people who want to know something different, pure, authentic! And another good spirit of this accommodation is the owners themselves. It can be seen that it is not primarily an economic matter for them. They really care about their guests and their satisfaction! I salute them, thank you for everything and look forward to a longer stay next year!!! Three nights were not enough...

The only minus, which of course is not the host's fault, is the ugly access road. Don't be discouraged!

Heriberto was a wonderful and friendly host. He always took care and asked if everything was right for us. All we needed for the breakfast we found in the fridge as well as beer and wine. Heriberto took good care of our well being. It was great to spent time in that peaceful place with the pool and the dogs living outside the place.

If you are going to rent this place you should consider that this is a rual area with animals living around (dogs, chicken, horses). The dogs are not exactly in your area (none of the animals are), but you‘ll cross the dogs by getting out of the property. They are cute and very cuddely, but if you don’t like dogs it might be not your destination for vaccation.

Heriberto was a brilliant host who made us feel very comfortable and even dropped us to and from the bus station. Accommodation with clean and comfortable with lots of character Fridge and cupboards were full of everything we needed and more Close to the town and bus station. Definitely recommend.
