One caveat on Friday and Saturday nights is live music from nearby restaurants/bar. A stay beginning on Sunday would avoid this. However such businesses come and go; music groups too. Several daytime guests expressed interest in pursuing a rental agreement.

We couldn't have picked a better house for our lake weekend. The back deck and dock are perfect for those who love the outdoors. There are big beautiful trees to provide shade almost all day! The kids loved the swing and jumping off the second level of dock. The house is close to the marina and restaurant next door. It was easy to get our boat in water at the Shell. We ate dinner Saturday night at the restaurant for our daughter's 16th birthday. The waitresses got everyone to sing happy birthday to her and the live band sang to her too! The house is also close to a little cove that we could paddle over to and kayak and paddle board. The house is nicely decorated and very homey. Feels like you are staying at a friends house for the weekend. It has awesome kitchen island and plenty of seating. Beds and comfortable and everyone talked about how comfy the couch was. We would definitely stay here again. 10/10!

Everything was as advertised with the cottage! We enjoyed the proximity the restaurants and boat launch etc. The views were fantastic and the fishing was good. Beds were comfy and the dining area was perfect for our group. the owners are easy to contact and communicated quickly if we had questions and were very accommodating.

Lovely lake home right on the water. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Huge deck area with loads of comfortable seating overlooking swimming area so you can keep a close eye on the children. Home has two living areas and a huge dining table that seats ten, as well as a game table for puzzles or cards and loads of seating at the kitchen peninsula. Dock areas include a swim ladder in the deeper water (7-8 ft, estimate) as well as a set of stairs which give easy access to the shallow water by the shore bulkhead (approx 4ft). The stairs were an excellent entry point for our sit-on-top kayaks. Owners were so considerate and easy to reach for the few questions we had. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend fishing and swimming at this Lakehouse! The home is older but very cozy, lots of indoor/outdoor seating! Terri, the host, was very responsive. Would like to book again!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful family home. Everything was fantastic and allowed us to have a top notch vacation and family gathering.

This house was outstanding! We loved the huge outside deck that had tons of seating. There are big trees that provide great shade. Love how close the deck is to the lake water. Our kids had a blast jumping from the top deck. We also loved the big table inside where we spent many hours working on puzzles. Owner quickly responded to any questions I had. A fantastic vacation!

Started with a couple of "snags". New refrigerator on the day of arrival and needed 24 hrs to work. Property manager was contacted an was very helpful in letting us into the garage to use the previous refrigerator. City cut all power out for 5 hrs the next day, but we survived that. New grill was not hooked up an had to use the old grill with the new grills plate. The communication with the owner and tenate was exceptional. I would recommend this place to anyone simply because of the lines of communication and the action of the owner! Great place and caught fish!!!

This is a wonderful house with lots of room both in the house and outside. Wonderful deck and patio. Very easy to rent great communication with manager. We had fun. house definitely needs cleaned better, spider webs and bugs up on big windows. Dead flies in fridge.

The house and location were perfect for our family! We spent most of our time on the beautiful, spacious deck. The boat dock was very convenient for our boat.

Overall we enjoyed the property. It fit our needs and was available at short notice. The A/C is great, the kitchen well stocked and the outside deck is spacious and has a grill and fire pit.

We a had a great stay. Our family really enjoyed the easy access to the lake and the boat launch just 100 yards away. We couldn't really use the sun room as a bedroom since it was so bright in there. We instead set up a pack and play in the laundry room for our 9 month old. This rental facilitated some great moments we will forever remember: swimming off the dock, jumping off the boat lift, going for a quick boat ride whenever we wanted, and fishing off the dock as the sun set across the lake. The cherry on top is the sweet moment we had baptizing our 10 year old one morning. It is a lovely rental from what seems to be a sweet family. We will likely visit again!

We stayed in home with adult children and grandparents. Location is fantastic. Two story dock for jumping, boat stalls, and waterfront made for a very fun stay! Communication on rental was great. Plenty of room for everyone. We had minor housekeeping issues when we arrived, but owner addressed them immediately. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much for offering your home as a rental. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a great time. Location is right on the lake with a place for our boat which was wonderful. Kids loved jumping off of the boathouse deck! We even floated in water in front of deck to beat the heat on check in day. Owner very responsive when I texted or had questions.

The pictures for the house did not do it justice. It was spacious, the view was excellent, and conveniently placed in the neighborhood. The gas station was right next door (walking distance) along with a rental place for water sports equipment. The checkin and check out was easy and the owner was accommodating to requests made. Wish we would have booked longer!

Location was fabulous. The lake is literally steps away. Plenty of room for the entire extended family.

We had a wonderful time. The property was clean and spacious. We enjoyed swimming, skiing, boating, tubing and fishing. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Owner is very nice / Good layout -- large family room / kitchen / bedrooms Nice location on the lake -- not overly busy / nice dock area - my kids did enjoy jumping off of the second story deck / large deck area / bathrooms and kitchen remodeled / full size washer dryer Cons: Needs some work -- deck has some nails sticking up / outdoor furniture cushions very dated and uncomfortable / master bedroom is a bunk room with its own bath - the top bunk of one of the beds is close to the ceiling fan (my kids would not sleep in that one) / bed broke in one room when my son was sitting on it (luckily they were able to fix it ($118 out of my deposit) kitchen table and chairs seem fragile -- we did not use / 2nd kitchen table nice and sturdy -- We did eat most of our meals outside In conclusion, I would recommend it - reasonably priced, good amenities overall Bring mosquito repellent / foggers

our family had great memories there. the girls loved to jump off the top deck and swim. It was nice to be right on the lake where kids could sleep and swim at the same time. Very accommodating for all ages.

Microwave does not work, Hot Water Knob in Hallway Bath comes off every time you use hot water, Bathroom door in Bunk Bed Room sticks so bad that even the adults panicked to get it open after closing it, only two rolls of toilet paper for a three day reservation for 6 adults/3 children, no paper towels, no internet service available and the deck above the boat slip was virtually of no use as the chairs were rotten and none were available to take up to that level for use. Great Air Conditioner and will accommodate many but very overpriced for the condition it is in.

This place was perfect. There were only 3 of us but this place can accommodate up to 12 people and it has a nice bunk room. It is right on the lake with a boat ramp and marina within 50 yards. There is a large swim area where we jumped off the docks and enjoyed the large high deck as well. The owner is very nice and super easy to work with. The house comes with a selection of games, movies, and a fire pit for night activities as well. The fishing was incredible too. We ended up catching some cat fish right off the dock. We will definitely be back with the rest of our family in the future.

I spent a long weekend at this Lake house and enjoyed every minute of it! It is sometimes hard to get together as a family since my husband is in the reserves and that demands a lot of his time, along with his full time job, so it was nice to be able to get away as a family. It is very warm and inviting and sleeps 12 people. It was nice to be able to invite others to enjoy this beautiful house with us. The patio is great! It is well shaded by lovely trees so if you have little ones it keeps them out of the sun. There is also a deck that is fun to jump off of and lay out. The house faces East so at night there is an amazing view of the sunset. Me and my husband loved sitting there watching the sunset after we put our little ones to bed. The owner is a very lovely woman and is always able to accommodate almost anything needed. The house is located close to a dock, so if you rent a boat or jet skies they are easily able to be put in the water. Also right across the bridge there is a rental place where you can rent paddle boards. This house was a great rental and I can't wait to go back!

I spent a few days at the Lake House with my 3 sons, their wives, and 4 of my beautiful grandchildren. It was a great place for us. Plenty of room and a great location close to the boats we rented. The children enjoyed jumping off the docks. We spent a great deal of time on the beautiful patio and the children were well entertained with movies and games available in the house. The owner was wonderful to work with and even mailed back a swimsuit we forgot. Can't wait to go back.

This was probably the 5th time that we have rented this lake house for our annual Family Vacation which includes 4 generations. Let me start by saying that the Owner is a joy and a pleasure to work with; she is pleasant and always accomodating. Most rental properties located on Lake Conroe limit the number of people allowed on the property at any given time to the number of beds. This is not the case with this Owner; she once told me that they purchased the property to enjoy with their family and that is what she wants us to do. While we never exceed the number of guests staying overnight; we do invite our friends and family out during the day for fun in the sun and on the lake. Secondly, this is absolutely the most conveniently located house on the lake! It is just a block off of 1097 with plenty of parking and directly behind a Marina where you can launch your boat or walk to purchase ice or fishing supplies. Several years ago, the AC was not properly working upon our arrival. I called Teri and she immediately had a repair man out to resolve the issue then gave us an additional day to be used later at our convenience. I will not say that this is the fanciest home on the lake; however, that is not what we are looking for. If that is what we wanted; we would stay at a hotel. We are looking for a place to make memories and that is exactly what we do! Through the years we have lost a Great Grandmother who loved to fish and added new Grand Babies that will learn to swim at the lake. My daughters have gone from laying out in the sun while me and my sister-n-law prepare the meals to being in charge of the kitchen while I run to the mall for a little vacation shopping. When you are trying to bring together numerous families working out a date that is convenient for everyone's job and family commitments is hard to do. This property is so convenient that even if everyone can't get off work; they can still run out for the week-end or even just an afternoon. I will sum up my review by stating that we will definitely be back to spend time with our faimly and create memories that we will cherish forever! Thanks for sharing your home with my family!

Overall, we would stay at this house again if we couldn't find another one with a comparable price and location. The house is very outdated with many "decorations", most of which are broken. There are two docks, although the top dock is in VERY rough shape. We climbed on it once and wouldn't let the kids go near it after that. My niece also stepped on a rusty nail on the bottom dock and had to get a tetnis shot. The kitchen has nice appliances and there is plenty of room to eat and sit. The A/C unit does not cool the house evenly so some of us froze while others were hot. The "sunroom bedroom" is not much of a bedroom at all as there are hardly shades to cover the windows and it blazing hot most of the day. The bunkbed room is the coolest room although it's the only room with a bathroom inside of it so once the kids go to bed, everyone else is forced to use the other hall bathroom. There is a large trailer parked in the driveway so be aware if you are trying to park more than 3 cars in the driveway. Also, the house is located next to a bar, so it was loud on the right side of the house (bunk bed room and sunroom) for the majority of the night. We were not at the house during the day and only slept there at night. I would not recommend this house for someone looking for a day-time vacation spot.
