We wanted to stay in the mountains/woods during our time in Colorado and this fit the bill perfectly! The house was very comfortable. Would definitely look at staying here again.

Everything was wonderful, I know the rules were in place for good reason I just wish it was told no shoes in the house upfront. But the place was very beautiful and had everything we needed. The hot tube was amazing my family loved relaxing in it after the site seeing all day. The owner was great and helped us amazingly. Thank You so much we had the best time.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Very easy to get to, very clean and Paul was great to work with. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking and then some. The view is beautiful if you want to relax and take it all in off the deck. We will always look to rent this house next time we are visiting family

The Rustic Mountain property is everything is speaks to be! The house is immaculately kept, and has everything you need! The hot tub and views are amazing, and Paul was a perfect and communicative host! We can’t wait to go back!

Lovely house with amazing views and a great location. This house is a hidden gem! Beautiful inside and out! Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of room to relax, and the view off the back deck is picturesque! The location is fabulous too - a quiet street, plenty of hiking trails nearby, just up the road from a great restaurant (The Smiling Pig), and a quick trip down the highway to the grocery store. The host gave great check-in/check-out instructions and was prompt with answers to any questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway in the Colorado mountains.

Fantastic property with unbelievable mountain views. The hot tub was the perfect place to unwind after an adventure packed day in the surrounding cities. Paul is a great host, and is always available to help with any concerns you may have. Don't sleep on this place!

This property is awesome! Very clean! Kitchen is well stocked and has anything you would need. Owner responds promptly and very easy to work with. Would book this Baily home again.

Nice cabin in the woods with just the right amount of modern conveniences (especially the deck an hot tub). Close to plenty of services and convenience, but also great wilderness hikes, etc.

The photos are accurate! The views are wonderful and the home had enough space for our first blended family vacation. 9, 13, 14, and 17 year olds loved the place. Host was super fast to respond to questions.
Kids already asked when we can go back. The extra drive to Rocky mountain National Park is worth it to stay here and be so comfortable. Same with Mt. Evans.
Thanks so much!

Less than a week after leaving The Rûstic Mountain House, we’re already reminiscing the good times we had and wish we could call this place our own. My group of friends/family searched a long time for the perfect spot—somewhere in the mountains with coffee views and a great hot tub; a clean home with plenty of room to stretch out and relax for each of us; updated/modern appliances, utilities and construction; local things to do and see but not terribly far from Denver; and last but not least, easy communication with the owner and overall process.
Stop looking. Not only was this home an excellent and eye-catching choice for what we each wanted, we were so enamored with the small, picturesque town of Bailey and everything it had to offer. Everyone was so friendly, caring and informative—you can spend a day or more discovering new, fun things about the town, and more major locales/shopping centers are but a short, very scenic drive away!
The owner, Paul, was a champ at answering all of our questions/concerns at lightning speed and has done an excellent job keeping the place clean, organized and modern. His house rules are common sense and easy to follow. The surrounding area is very beautiful and serene—the only neighbors we encountered were some deer and a couple of bald eagles!
Well done and thank you, Paul!

Great property, just as the photos show. Just make sure you have a proper car to navigate the driveway. Loved our stay!

We were in town for a wedding. The property was nice and as pictured. Only complaint was the neighbors dogs. They were running loose on the property and chased us to our vehicle a few times. Another strange dog jumped up on the front window barking at us inside. There were 3 different dogs. Other than that the place was nice and we would stay there again

Nice updated, clean home. Great for hiking or exploring the area. Owner very responsive.
We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at this house! Super clean, views off the back deck are phenomenal. Owners typically respond quickly, nice folks who were laid back even though we set off the smoke detectors in the kitchen lol (sorry Paul!)
Only real issue we had were the downstairs mattresses were reported to have uncomfortable dips in the middle. The downstairs bathroom could use a couple of more towels and kitchen could use dish towels, otherwise the kitchen did have most items needed like pots pans silverware glasses etc. We loved the location, isolated and quiet but tourist areas within a decent driving distance. Thanks for opening up your house Paul, it’s a wonderful vacation home!

This house was really great. Had everything we needed and the hot tub was awesome too. I stayed with friends and we went to a 2 night show at Red Rocks. It was about a 30 min drive to the park, and there’s really no traffic when coming to/from that way so it was nice. We loved that the house was tucked into the mountains and had beautiful views. Also close to Staunton State park and we went on a really awesome hike there. Great value also, stay here if you can! Thanks for having us Paul!

The property was as described and was decent, but the water/ice maker on the refrigerator did not work, the garbage disposal had a awful odor because it can’t be run without blowing a breaker, which also cuts power to the dishwasher that did not drain properly, the wood floors creak loud enough to wake the neighbors, the driveway is terrible and there are too many rules to follow. The place could have been cleaned better before our arrival as we found a pacifier under the sofa, the living room was dusty, and the kitchen and bathrooms had cobwebs in the corners.
We enjoyed the deck and the well equipped kitchen. A little more effort on the owner’s part would have made it a great place to stay.

Property was as depicted and owners were easy to work with. We headed to Red Rocks for a concert to check it off wife's bucket list and extended our stay for a few days to do some hiking and taking in the area. Had a great stay. Out of the concert, everyone headed into the city and we had little traffic heading back the other way from the venue. Comfortable and clean with great views. Be careful on the driveway. It could use a bit of work.

Enjoyed the hummingbirds and the 2 buck deer that we awoke to in our backyard. Felt remote, but not far from Bailey.

The house was clean; the kitchen well-equipped. Our two teenagers enjoyed having their own space downstairs. The back deck was perfect for relaxing, reading a good book and drinking your morning coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Bridal Party
We had a wedding at Deer Creek Mountain Camp and the house was only a few minutes away. The house was beautiful and a perfect stay for my friends and I. We loved the back deck and spent most of our time outside!

Fantastic Location for Long Weekend in the Mountains
This home was perfect for myself and my three 40-something friends. We met in Colorado for a long weekend, and found this home in Baily to be exceptional. It was very clean, organized, lots of space... the back yard views were amazing. We had several deer roam around the property. Couldn't have found a better spot for what we needed.

Everything was as stated. Beautiful setting. Back porch looking over woods and mountains is so calming. All facilities updated and top notch.

Beautiful Experience!
Owner was very quick to respond to messages. The property was gorgeous, tucked back into the mountains away from other homes. Very peaceful and serene. We had visitors throughout the entire stay…four-legged ones (deer, elk, and occasional fox). I would definitely stay again!

Great Getaway
The property was just as described and had everything we needed for our family of six and then some. We loved the deck and watching deer/hummingbirds each morning and evening. The owners really have thought of everything down to puzzles and cards. It was nice to have some family time away from all the craziness of the outside world. Pizza place in town was amazing but call early he only makes so much dough for the day and when its gone its gone!

A wedding in Bailey at the Deer Valley Ranch
The home is very nice and very well stocked for what ever you want to do, the driveway could use some attention but other than that we had a very pleasant stay and the view off the back deck was beautiful

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
Our family loved our long Easter weekend here. The property is in a beautiful, unique, quaint area with a gorgeous view from the hot tub. After spending a couple days in the city of Denver, this relaxing spot was perfect. We had all the amenities to make an Easter meal and have some great family time. The little town of Bailey had a couple fun stops too - we loved the winery and the Sasquatch outpost was hilarious.
The Easter service at Red Rock Amphitheater wasn’t too far a drive and a great experience! Paul was great to work with. We’ll be back!

!!Surpassed my lofty expectations !!
If you have the chance to stay at this property don’t let it pass, the house was impeccable, extremely comfortable, they say that luxury is on the details, well here everything was taken care off . The beds where very comfortable and the linens and towels where of good quality , both usually weak spots on rental units. The decoration was tasteful , giving it a rustic yet modern feel with lots of space and light. Now, before I bore you with all the chitchat , the important stuff, “The view” breathtaking, the location is truly privileged , to conclude I’ll mention that my nephews called it “the best day of their lives”. Kudos to the owner.

Wonderful getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation in Bailey. The hot tub is divine under the stars surrounded by snowy woods, the living room and kitchen and master bedroom had glorious views of mountain landscape, Sasquatch museum outpost was fantastic, bistro nearby was delicious, and karyoke with the locals was memorable. Mad jacks too! We’ll be back.

Beautiful scenery made for beautiful pictures for our daughter’s pre-wedding festivities. Would recommend this property.

Scenic Getaway
The property is just what we needed for the 7 of us, including our 2 young grandchildren. The house has a nice open layout with a spectacular view and comfortable beds. Paul was easy to communicate with whenever we had any questions. Fortunately, it was dry during the visit. Any precipitation in the forecast, a 4 wheel drive vehicle would be needed. Great place!!

First Timers
The house was very comfortable with an open floorplan, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We spent alot of time on the deck, fed the humming birds (water and sugar of course) and cooked every day. Paul's home is perfectly nestled in the woods and while the driveway was a little tricky, our three vehicles had plenty of space! My husband and I are CO residents and 5 friends from MN flew out so we could attend two concerts at Red Rocks. Perfect direction to head after a concert because everyone goes the opposite way. We really enjoyed our stay and when the next concert calendar comes out, you can be sure we will be contacting Paul! Thank you~
