La maison est très pratique pour aller à toutes les activités de Garden City. Il est situé à seulement 2-3 pâtés de maisons des entrées de la plage de Bear Lake et à un ou deux pâtés de maisons des célèbres milkshakes à la framboise. Être si près de la ville a été un moment fort pour beaucoup de nos clients, surtout en été, lorsque tous les magasins sont ouverts.
De la maison, vous pouvez aller à pied à la piscine de la ville et la piste de karting est également accessible à pied. Il y a une piste cyclable en face de la maison, vous pouvez donc apporter vos propres vélos ou en louer (ou un surrey) au camping KOA, à environ 1 km de la maison. Vous pouvez monter vos 4 roues de la maison à environ 3 rues du sentier. Le port de plaisance de Bear Lake se trouve à environ 1,5 km de la maison et le théâtre Pickleville Playhouse n’est qu’à quelques minutes.
Nous avons des locataires qui reviennent cette année pour leur 9ème été et qui nous ont dit récemment que notre maison était à leur "emplacement de choix".
Vous trouverez de nombreux restaurants à proximité de l'hôtel: Merlin's, Lebeaus, Café Sabor, Zipz, Hometown Drive In, Good and Tasty, Jake’s Place, etc. Bear Trapper Steak House et Bear Lake Pizza se trouvent à quelques minutes en voiture. Vous serez également à une courte distance en voiture de la petite épicerie au nord de la rue principale de Garden City (également au KOA). Notre cuisine est entièrement équipée avec de nombreux ustensiles de cuisine. Nous avons une cuisinière, un four micro-ondes, un lave-vaisselle, 2 plaques chauffantes, une mijoteuse et un four à rôtir.
Il y a une salle de jeux séparée et une armoire pleine de jeux de société, de puzzles, de livres et de vidéos. Nous avons aussi du baby-foot, du ping-pong, du croquet, du basket-ball et du ballon-ballon.

The house worked great for us! We had 19 people in our group, and it was so nice to have so many bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! Loved being close to town and the lake. The house was older than expected and could use a little update, but it was great for our family!

This property was perfect for our family! It is a larger home than it looks, lots of living /family room areas. Ping pong matches constantly and we couldn’t even hear them hoot-in’ and holler-in’. They’ve turned a one car garage into a play room and it was perfect!! (There is still a 2 car garage for parking cars). We had several cars and a boat and we had plenty of room on the large driveway. It really was a good stay for a regular family! We’ll do it again next year!

A great place for our 20 people and 2 babies. If you want to be walking distance to town and close to marina and beach this is the place. The bedrooms are big. The kitchen area is a little bit smaller but it worked just fine for us. Bathrooms were great for our needs. Fun toys and play area for little kids and ping ping and basketball for teens. Loved the grassy area out back not quite as large as we thought from the picture but good enough for us. Back yard is west so not shady in late afternoon but still it wasn’t that hot so was fine. Loved all the parking available for our 5 vehicles, boat and wave runners. Everywhere in the house was clean and organized. We found the kitchen had all the kitchen essentials. Everything we needed. Only thing I wished there had been was some kid friendly plastic plates. Plenty of kid friendly plastic cups but no kid plates. Very nice gathering room downstairs. Nice pantry closet in the kitchen. Everything worked, had no problems. The owners are very kind and helpful. If you are looking for one of those brand new huge lodge type homes this isn’t it but if looking for a home in the center of town that has been well kept, clean, updated, cute, and everything you need to have a great fun week with family then this is it. It is an awesome place, great location for a raspberry shake run after a full day on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Very good communication between the owner and manager and our family. It was very clean, and a good location and was just what we needed to have a big Thanksgiving dinner there. It was especially nice that there were toys for the children, and the ping-pong table and foosball table. Overall, we had a wonderful time! get

We live staying at the Lake House for our family reunion. It was very conveniently located and had plenty of entertainment for all ages. The house was nice and clean. The only thing I would change is to fix the A/C. It was hard to sleep upstairs because it got hot. Other than that, we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway at the lake house
We had a wonderful time at the Lake house.
There was a lot to do, and we had great time at the lake.
The weather was beautiful and bear lake was amazing
The lakehouse was very Accommodating, With plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and there were places for everyone to sit down to eat.
My favorite day was walking into the backyard and seeing my family Enjoying being together playing basketball and tether ball.
I recommend the lake house.

Close to the center of town!
We had a great time with our family! Super glad we brought paper plates, my daughter’s worried about breaking a stoneware plate or bowl anytime one was used. I think the cleaning fee they charged was way too much especially since we cleaned up used water bottles, cracker and candy crumbs and cups of trail mix found in a closet from previous renters. The place was not very “deep cleaned.” Several burned out lights also.

Our Lake House Stay
Overall we loved the property and would stay there again. Location is perfect for access to services, the house is spacious and accommodated our 20-person family very well, and is well equipped for cooking, watching television, playing games indoors or outdoors. Parking is very adequate for large groups.

Awesome home base for Bear Lake Adventures!
We had a blast!!! This home is perfectly situated within a short walk to all the downtown fun, but far enough away that you can sit on the back porch and enjoy a quiet evening. They had everything you could need at the house from the kitchen to the game room; including all kinds of pans, bowls, utensils, board games for the big kids, Duplo blocks for the little kids, and a ping pong table. There are plenty of bathrooms, which lets face it is even more important that the bedrooms with the whole family. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us checked in and the check out process was very simple. We highly recommend staying at the Lake House!!

We didn't realize bringing your own toiletries meant literally bringing your own toilet paper
When we arrived at the home the bathrooms had zero toilet paper in all of them. We were able to find 4 rolls in the garage and one of our family members had some in his trunk that we could use. The owner had a separate contract we had to fill out after we had paid the down payment. In the contract it stated that they could cancel on us without any penalty within a week of our arrival date, but we could not cancel without penalty. Then when covid hit, they agreed that if we had to cancel for any covid related reasons, we could use the rental until 2022 during the times of Sept-May (the off season). We were not happy about that considering covid is a pandemic and we have no control over it. Fortunately, in the end, everything worked out and we were able to get our entire family there. In the future, although we loved the home and the location, this is not a homeowner we would want to work with again.

Great Getaway and plenty of sleeping for our family
I liked this property because of the number of rooms and one room especially. My room had two queen beds and two twins. I loved that my family could all sleep in one room. Number of bathrooms was awesome as well. Washer and dryer was a great addition as well. House was fully stocked. Some places I rented in Bear Lake run out of paper towels and toilet paper. But this house had plenty. Located close enought to walk to Zips, Le Beau's and the gas station grocery store. Very happy we found this 5 bedroom home for our family vacation.

Great property. Plenty of room for a large group. Perfect location if you want to be close to the little shops, shakes and lake! Marina was not more than 5 min away. The only downside was the eating area was tight. We were eating in stages so everyone could have a place to sit and eat. Other than that...perfect!

Great place for a family get away
We brought our six kids with spouses and six grandchildren and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location is nice since it is within walking distance of the Garden city stores and shake shops, is immediately adjacent to the local bike trail (which we used) and is very close to the dirt roads/hills where we drove 4-wheelers and trail bikes, and motorcycles. It was close enough to the beaches and water vehicle rental places, that it worked out great for our family.

This property was exactly as advertised. It was neat, cozy, and clean and very ample for 28 of us. There was plenty of room to play, sleep, and just have fun. The owners were very helpful.

Perfect family getaway
We just spent the weekend at the lake house with 12 family members and I was so happy to find that there was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. It’s so close to all the main restaurants in garden city and we were able to walk to get coffee in the morning which I loved. It was a great stay and we will be looking forward to our next trip at the lake house.

Great Family Home on the shores of beautiful Bear Lake
Our family consisted of Grandma, Grandpa, six big boy cousins and 1 toddler boy cousin with assorted aunts and uncles. The house was very comfortable for all of us. It was clean and had plenty of room for family activities and quiet time spaces. The grassy outdoor space was big enough for games and the boys loved the basketball hoop, the ping pong and foosball tables. Bear Lake was just minutes away and the famous raspberry shakes were within walking distance.

Clean, well equipped, plenty of space for a large group and lots of FUN!
We had a group of 20 ages nine months to fifty-something. The kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, and beds. Loved having 3.5 baths too.
If your trip gets rained out you’ll all be just fine inside. A big plus was all the living spaces. There were places for kids to hang out, adults to hang out or all to be together. We all got a kick out of the vintage movie and game selection. The game room was fun too with ping pong and foosball.
Outside there is a tether ball, half basketball court and some lawn games to play.
Location was also super convenient! Right in Garden City and easy to find. It is literally around the corner from Le Beaus! It is far enough away from the crowd to feel private but easy enough to go for a family walk for a shake.
Totally recommend and hope to go back next summer!
