Loved house great location owners were awesome only negative was ac downstairs needs upgraded other than then we would stay there again

Great property for our needs. We had 16 people, ages 4 years old to 70’s. The 4 bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and had pull out trundles if your kiddos wanted to stay in their parents rooms with them. The 4 and 6 year old did. The 9 through 17 year olds slept on other mattresses and couches available. A couple of couches can pull out to beds. The kids caught 8 blue crabs in cages that are at the house available! We cooked those up and ate them. We brought our own kayaks and really enjoyed being in the alcove we were at. Beautiful sunsets, AND beautiful sunrises could be seen from there. We fished of the two docks available too, but the fish weren’t biting. We drove a few minutes to West beach and spent part of a day there, beautiful spot. Plenty of life jackets, towels, chairs and umbrella’s offered by the owner. Saved a lot on f packing extra gear. The porches had great seating up and downstairs. It’s a quick walk to the Lighthouse Bakery, which we highly recommend. A cinnamon roll can feed three or four people! We walked to the little town multiple times. We also ordered royal reds, corn and potatoes from Skinner’s Market. It was perfect and we highly recommend them as well. The kitchen was well stocked. We do d bring our own griddle for cooking because there are a bunch that of us. But we could have cooked anything we needed with what they have there. Great stay! Vicki was great and very responsive. The porches, view and fishing off the dock were our favorite features. The upstairs was large and comfortable with 4 master size bedrooms. Kitchen was big and fully stocked with cooking and eating supplies. Our only complaint is the downstairs was musty with only a small window unit, so the kids got hot sleeping. Overall, it was a good value for the price and it slept all 16 of our family without breaking the bank!

We went to Dauphin Island for our daughter’s wedding. The house was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the porches, fishing, and all the amenities. Vicki was so nice, accommodating, and responsive.The house was clean and very comfortable.

Ms. Vicki was gracious, kind, and just all around awesome! The house is perfect for what we needed. Sitting on the dock, taking the boats out fishing, and just relaxing. The house was clean and well taken care of. The open area was perfect because you could sit in the living room with family but not be on top of one another. The outdoor spaces are wonderful too.

Amazing host!!! Beautiful property, added bonuses provided by host. Location perfect. Spacious areas to host family . Will plan to stay again.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. Vicki was very nice and assisted us in whatever we needed! The location of the house was perfect, great fishing and kayaking spot and very spacious for our whole family. The only reason for not making it 5 stars is the cleanliness of the house could have been better. The downstairs area could have used a little bit more cleaning and tidying up. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves!
