Good things:
1. Great location, within walking distance of the town
2. Well proportioned living area and bedrooms, generally speaking well equipped
3. Large garden and heated swimming pool
4. Well equipped inside and outside kitchen
Not so good:
1. Communication with the owner is very difficult, we don't speak French, the person meeting us speaks NO English at all which makes communication impossible.
2. We could not get the dishwasher to work, poor instruction on how it needs a big push to make it work.
3. The toilet flush in one of the bedrooms did not work properly, and one of the shower heads fell and broke, instead of the owner fixing it, the owner's first reaction was 'you need to fix it or replace it, otherwise you need to pay for it!', what an attitude! My family are very well behaved people, we also all have beautiful homes, we don't go around breaking toilet flushes and showers, the owner's attitude towards services is appalling.
4. The agent kept sending me emails all in French when i told her that i do not read or speak French. The company needs to be more considerate to international guests, communication should be in both English and French.
In summary, a great villa but very poor services. And if anything does not work, you can be accused of breaking it and therefore charged for it. Not acceptable.

The house and gardens are wonderful. Although the house is a newer build, it has the feel of a villa in the country. It’s perfectly located close to the center and while you can walk along the street, the narrowness of the road is sometimes tricky. There is a lovely small canal in and around the city that you can walk along into city center.
The kitchen was very well equipped. The big bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were an extra bonus.

We absolutely loved Villa Indigo, the space, the beautiful garden, the pool and table tennis. The villa is so well equipped with everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the location close enough to walk into St Rémy which we did a lot. Celine and Michele couldn't have been more helpful. A very special holiday!

We have stayed in Saint-Rémy many times, and this was one of my favourite properties!
The location is quiet but very convenient, and the facilities (pool, garden, outside kitchen, boulodrome) are all excellent. As grandparents travelling with a young family, we love having a ground floor room with en-suite, and the children loved having their own bathrooms upstairs.
Both Celine and Michelle were very helpful, especially with the arrangements for the smallest member of the party (7 months). We found the property to be very well and thoughtfully equipped, and the full house air conditioning was fantastic in the hottest week of the year.
Hope to see you again soon!

Good location 15-20 mins from village, great property, kids enjoyed the pool, well equipped, took some finding the first day but easy after that. St Remy is a brilliant town if you like wandering nice streets, local shopping, galleries and eating. Good base for exploring Provence, Avignon, Arles, Aix, Le Baux, etc all relatively easy to reach.
We were two families but would suit families with multi generations and kids of any age. The very large garden is a perfect sports pitch.

We were exceptionally happy with the Villa Indigo from when we received the lovely welcome basket to when we left. Our grown children loved the pool, house, and walking into town. It was a very memorable vacation in St. Remy and we enjoyed the location to many cities in Provence. Merci Celine and Michelle:)

The kitchen was quite old. Door handles would fall off.
There was a mishmash of dishes beneath the sink. It was disorganized. I do not like to see left over spices and vinegars from other guests. The dryer and washing machine did not work.
Michele did not speak any English
The upstairs was lovely as was the outside play area for my grandson.

I have wracked my brain but I can’t think of any negatives for this house. It is spotlessly clean, very tastefully furnished and has little touches like tissues in each bedroom and an apron in the kitchen, that are very thoughtful. The outside kitchen is very functional with lovely outdoor crockery. And the garden is superb and so meticulously tended
Unlike others we found Michelle, who greets you or, in our case comes and finds you lost in
the back streets of St. Remy, delightful. Yes, she will only speak to you in French but she tolerated my abuse of the language with good humour. Her son, who tends the pool and speaks perfect
English, is also delightful.
St. Remy itself is becoming too popular for its own good and parking is a nightmare but it is full of good restaurants and still a good central point for exploring the area.
If we have the chance we wouldn’t hesitate returning to this house.

We had a nice time and the property is quiet and short walk to the town center. Local hiking and biking were a bonus.

Amazing holiday!
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Indigo. The location is close to town yet was a great jumping point to many different day trips. Our kids loved playing in the pool each day and we really enjoyed cooking and eating outside every night. We would absolutely love to stay at Villa Indigo again!

Dear Celine, we had a fantastic holiday. The house and the surroundings were beautiful. 1 small point: the description states that there is a pool billiard and a bubble bath. Thank you very much

Amazing property in a great location! Walk to St-Rémy-de-Provence
Great family or group property in a very convenient location. Wonderful grounds within 15-20 minute walk of St-Rémy-de-Provence. Celine, the owner, is very helpful and communicative when booking and prior to arrival.
However, the property manager, Michelle Maya, could only communicate in French and needs to learn Conrad Hilton's Philosophy - 'Fill the Earth With the Light and Warmth of Hospitality'. She treated us as if she were doing us a favor by allowing us to stay at the property; attempted to change the agreement on VRBO and had expectations that were never communicated about garbage disposal. When leaving for the aiport at our designated departure time, she arrived as we were in the car. Then berated us in French for not meeting her unexplained expectations and attempted to delay our departure to comply with her demands.
We had an absolutely wonderul stay at Celine's property but highly recommend that Celine consider changing property managers to one that has learned the art of hospitality and customer service.

My group of 10 ladies loved staying in this property! Thelocation was fantastic - walkable into the charming town of St. Remy de Provence and to the asylum where Vincent Van Gogh received "treatment". A great "home base" for exploring this whole area! The house offered everything we could have asked for and we loved the tucked away, private setting. I would have given it 5 stars all around except for a few small issues. Communication with Celine was EXCEPTIONAL but we did run into some difficulties with the check-in agent as she spoke VERY little English and had no way to text with us when we needed assistance arriving. Equal parts lack of command of the language(s) involved, an inability to decipher the information she provided, which did turn out to be correct, an unfortunate placement of a critical street sign and fatigue from day long travel delayed and affected our initial arrival. Gratefully, the greeter extended her allotted timeframe to welcome and orient us but communication did prove somewhat challenging during that process, as well. Our understanding of the heating/ac system proved to be the biggest issue but we finally succeeded. In terms of only 4 stars in the "cleanliness" category, I would suggest that, perhaps, a more critical eye be applied to the state of the downstairs master bedspread/bedding and bathroom. I know this is picky but the "grouting"/silicone at the base of the shower and the wc (whose issue could be due to the water content in this area) could benefit from attention and I would suggest fresh laundering of the "external" linens as a criteria of preparation upon the check-in of each new group. These issues do not negate the fact that this house is a wonderful choice for a variety of traveling groups due to its spaciousness and layout featuring four large and accommodating bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is what "sold it" for me. I would definitely rent this property again and hope I have the opportunity to do so! One last thought: I can understand the reasoning, but the prohibition against use of the fireplace was disappointing. Perhaps some protective guidelines might allow usage of this key feature? Thank you for your consideration of my comments.

Excellent service from owner and agent.Villa had everything in way of equipment and for a family of 10 it was great to have not only a large pool ,but also badminton, table tennis and boule.Very well designed house with outside kitchen right next to main kitchen. Lovely walk along canal into town.

Our stay in St Remy
St Rémy is a great home base. The town is any a 10 minute walk away. The pool was great and the house was perfect for our large family.
4.0
Fantastic location with great space to spend a week in the great Southern France weather.
Upon arrival however there were only a handful of towels supplied with none for the swimming pool. Both gas canisters for the outdoor kitchen were empty and the pool cleaner remained connected for the duration of the stay, getting in the way of swimming and being an inconvenience with a toddler in the pool.
The walk-through gate wasn’t functional therefore the remote gate key was required at all times.
Other than these minor issues the rooms were spacious and the gardens well kept. The table tennis table was a great extra along with the boules area.
Overall a great villa, which I would return to in the future; however better preparation prior to arrival of quests is recommended as well as a less strict level of requirements of cleaning within the itinerary required.

We were eight women who spent a week in Villa indigo. We loved the property and it was exactly as depicted online.
Check in was OK with limited French and Limited English, but we got through it.
Loved having such a nice kitchen and laundry facilities available as well. Thankfully, the weather was nice and we were able to use the wonderful pool too.
Some of our favorite moments were spent walking into town along the canal into the lovely town of Saint Remy.
I would highly recommend this property and I hope others will enjoy it as much as we did. It’s definitely on my return list !

Beautiful, comfortable, clean----PERFECT!!!
A ten minute walk takes you into town, and the pool awaits your return! Cook outside or inside; your choice. A slice of heaven.
One suggestion- consider a ceiling fan in the outdoor kitchen area. It gets really hot sun for a portion of the day.

Lovely Villa in a Perfect Location!
We had a perfect stay in the lovely Villa Indigo. The villa had everything a family needs to be comfortable. It is clean and roomy, with lots of bedrooms and private bathrooms. The location is superb: a short walk to the center of St. Rémy, and short drives to the most beautiful villages in Provence. The yard is beautiful and large and secluded, with a wonderful pool and outdoor cooking area. (We'll be sure to visit in the summer next time so we can take advantage of those amenities.) We'd highly recommend this villa. It was perfect for our family of five.

My partner and I fell in love with the Villa online but (hard to believe) it was more charming in person. We stayed 10 days with my cousin and friends. We LOVED the pool and the outdoor kitchen. The interior of the villa is wonderfully appointed with plenty of room for up to 10 to 12 guests. The kitchen is charming. We spent many happy mornings there drinking coffee, eating delicious French yogurt and planning our day. The location in St Remy is ideal for day trips to Provençal hill towns and wineries. We particularly loved Gigondas and Romain wineries. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Loved it! Two issues - the villa is difficult to locate without specific directions. Do not believe tour cars GPS. The point of contact does not speak any English. We were very lucky that two of our friends were fluent in French.

Our group of 7 adults stayed at the villa in April for 8 nights and we were very impressed with how comfortable and well stocked the house was. The bedroom/bath situation was ideal with each bedroom having a bath of its own, nicely appointed kitchen, lovely outdoor furniture. The garden is worth a visit in itself. The location was great, we could walk to the center of St. Remy and take short day trips to many other Provence attractions. I would definitely return

We are always so happy to return to Villa Indigo!
This beautiful home has everything you could want: air conditioning, an indoor and an outdoor kitchen, heated pool, 4 bedrooms (each with bath). It is only a 15 minute walk from the center of St.-Remy de Provence, a lovely town with charming restaurants and small shops. It is also a short car ride from Les Baux, where we enjoy the Carrieres de Lumiere light show every year and then treat ourselves to lunch at L'Oustau de Baumaniere.
The owners have chosen a lovely woman to be the point person for the entire stay, and she is responsive to any request or issue.

Lovely house - Close to Perfection
We stayed at Villa Indigo in July 2016. Celine, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with in getting the initial arrangements set up. When we arrived, Michelle, the local owner representative, was also very easy and pleasant to deal with, despite her very limited English. The house is fully stocked and the bedroom/bathrooms are private and abundant. The grounds, pool and outside kitchen were marvelous. My only two comments would be to provide more towels (some were too old) and the pool could have been warmer. We used the cover and it heated right up due to the sun. During the week, the gardener, pool man and cleaning ladies visited. Great location near to St. Remy. I highly recommend Villa Indigo.

Villa Indigo, St Remy du Provence
Can internet pictures live up to reality ?- in this case they did. The villa is well appointed, immaculately clean, with an excellent pool and immaculate gardens. We had a wonderful two week break. The check-in was straightforward and pleasant as was the initial booking process. It was a holiday without fault and we highly recommend the villa and the area is so beautiful, it would be hard not to have a memorable holiday from this location. St. Remy Villa Indigo
This is a tardy review for a mid 2014 week stay at this wonderful villa. We highly recommend it for people looking for a luxury property a little off the tourist route. The town is fabulous and lots of dining options in the area. But truthfully, we ate lunch out on excursions and then shopped in town and had such lovely dinners on our patio most nights. We really never cooked inside but everything is available. The pool and grounds are spectacular and we agree with other reviewers, the house is great even for only 4 people. You will enjoy the common areas and have room to move about.
Only suggestion would be lots more bath and pool towels available. Nice to have a washer and we loved the drying line. All in all, great for small or very large group!

Gorgeous!
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Indigo. Ten of us (2 families) spent the Christmas - New Year period in the Villa and we could not fault it. The Villa was very clean, spacious and equipped to a very high standard. The grounds and setting are just stunning - it is even better than the photos. St Remy is a delightful town and Celine was a fantastic and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Another week in paradise at Indigo!
This was our second week in two years at Indigo. Obviously, we like it! We are only two couples, but you could comfortably have 8 adults since there are 4 bedrooms, each with its own bath. The outdoor kitchen and lounge are where we spent most of our time if not touring around or swimming in the pool. St Remy is adorable and beautiful. Go!

Villa Indigo and St Remy are Wonderful!
Villa Indigo is a wonderful lodging in an ideal Provence town. After having visited a number of houses and locales the previous year, we chose V.I. and rented it for a month. We, and our American and French guests, were all very very pleased.
This house is simply Great, both inside and outside, for leisure and for cooking and entertaining. It’s modern and charming, large, and very well appointed and well maintained. St. Remy is a picturesque, interesting and full-service town with a good weekly market, great bakeries and specialty food shops, plus, an excellent supermarket. A real plus is that the town center can be safely reached on foot from Villa Indigo. St. Remy is ideally situated, I believe, for half and full day car trips to all that Provence offers. This was our fourth time in Provence; we intend to return to Villa Indigo.

Superb St Remy Villas
Villa Indigo and neighbouring Mas Garrance are beautiful villas in a quiet rural setting ,yet only 15 minutes walk from the vibrant centre of St Remy de Provence. The properties are well equipped and maintained to a very high standard. The large garden and swimming pool are safe for young children and make the villa an excellent place to relax and enjoy the Provencal sunshine.St Remy is well equipped with shops restaurants and cafes and has a great market every week. The listing photos and description of the properties accurately reflected the appearance and amenities although " sleeping 12/13" would be a squeeze! St Remy is superbly located for visiting Avignon,Arles Nimes and beyond. The owner's local agent was helpful but always appeared in a hurry and spoke virtually no English which would be difficult for visitors who did not speak French. The overall experience was superb and I would have no hesitation in recommending the properties to a friend.

Beautiful life in provance
Our family had such a wonderful time that our 3 1/2 yr old daughter Avery, said (and still say) "I love 'My' house in France." The size of the Villa was more than accomodating for my husband, our 2 children (Avery & Connor); my sister, her husbad, their 1 yr old daughter, Amelia; and my parents! The villa was utterly picturesque, especially the outdoor kitchen, dining, lounging area that overlooked the magnificent yard with lavenders and roses. This is where we pretty much spent most of our time...basking in the beauty and serenity; and taking a nice dip in the pool - probably one of the more happier momments of our trip! Our children had an amazing time walking to and through the market with the shops, cobblestones, and warm people. The Villa and Provance is experience our children will look forward to for years to come! See you in a couple years! Cheers, Fiona

Fabulous week at Villa Indigo
We had a fabulous week at Villa Indigo! The location is terrific and made a great home base. The short 10 minute walk into the center of St. Remy was a pleasure, and the town itself is fun and full of character (don't miss market day on Wednesday morning), with an incredible number of good restaurants for its size. Given the number of must-see sights within an easy 30 minute drive (Avignon, Arles, Les Baux, etc.), we only just scratched the surface during our one week stay. The house is beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, very private, and laid out very nicely -- in short, it was everything we would have hoped for based on the listing. We loved having the outdoor kitchen and dining area, and the kids had a great time in the heated pool even though it was still only the first week of April. Celine was extremely responsive and very helpful in getting everything organized. It was very easy to feel at home there, and we would love to go back.
