Finding this home was relatively easy. The only complaint I have was ants. But I feel like that's to be expected with where the house is located. Just keep food up or in the fridge and you won't have a problem. The house is well maintained everything was super clean. Our little man was 13 months old and they gave us a pack n play to use they are super accommodating. Would recommend staying there to all my friends.

What a beautiful cottage! Everything we needed was in the house, fresh and clean when we arrived and the local grocery store and restaurant were just a short drive away. This was a perfect base, putting us within easy driving distance of the North and South for our search for a more permanent place to live. Gorgeous beaches and scenery abound. We even made it all the way down to Lighthouse Point. The cottage had various water toys as well should anyone need them. We were very happy indeed with the peacefulness of the neighborhood and the distant sounds of waves crashing on the shore below.

This cottage is so cute. It had all the space we needed for my family of four. Fitted out just like our home to enable us to cook and grill our meals. It’s located kind of in the middle of Eleuthera allowing exploring north or south. The property managers do a great job seeing to any questions or troubles while your on vacation which is always good to have being far away from home. We would definitely recommend.

Josette has been nothing but excellent to deal with while I was planning our trip and while we were there- extremely helpful and easy to deal with. She also help us with our car rental with Israel Johnson, who was also excellent. This is a very nice vacation property! We loved the homey/cottage decor and feeling of this property. Many properties we have stayed at just aren't very cozy or comfy- this is not one of them! Josette has taken the time to think of all of the little details to make your stay easy and enjoyable. This home has everything you need to prepare great meals, relax and enjoy the home and the island. We used the pack and play, car seat, snorkel gear and beach gear during our trip and it was so nice to have this all available and not have to lug it all with us! I travelled with my husband and our 21 month old son and we had an excellent time!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location which was very close to Rainbow beach and Rainbow Inn. On Monday night we enjoyed pizza night at the Inn. There were many beaches we visited during our stay and the coral reefs were easy to get to and excellent for snorkeling. The owner was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had. They even brought us snorkeling gear when we were not able to find the missing gear at the cottage. It was great to have Josette reserve the rental car also. This was extremely helpful as we were met at the airport by the man who we rented the car from. We had a great time visiting many historic places and beautiful beaches in Eleuthera and would love to visit again.

Perfect place to spend the evenings after a long day out at the beach! Would stay here again!

This was our first trip to Eleuthera and this was the perfect place to stay. T is in the middle of the island. A great beach just minutes away from the house we were staying at. The owners are excellent the were so helpful it assisting us to make sure we had an excellent stay. I highly recommend their properties they are in a quiet location and very well maintained we everything you will need for your stay. We will return

There was a hiccup with power being out / Take Ya Time unable to be cleaned on the day of our arrival, so Josette and Delano put us up in a lovely, newer place just across the street. The place was brand new with lovely furnishings and decor, the kitchen stocked with everything we needed to do a lot of our own cooking, and Josette and Delano couldn't have been better hosts. We did see Take Ya Time, and we would've been happy there, too. We loved the location in the central-ish part of the island so we could explore to both the north and the south. We were there during low season, so the Rainbow Inn was closed unfortunately (as were other places...maybe sure to be prepared for that if going to Eleuthera September-October), but there were plenty of places open, and we cooked at home a lot. Rainbow Bay is close to so many beautiful beaches. We were happy to have our Jeep with us as roads other than the Queen's Highway can necessitate a high-clearance vehicle, and you do have to drive to most everything. But you will also enjoy sitting on the porch, taking in the sea breezes, views, and quiet. We hope to be back!!

This house is decorated in tropical colors and has a great layout with seperated bedrooms that suit friends or family. The kitchen has all the necessities for eating in. Its very close for attending Rainbow Inn Pizza Night. We had a great time there. The central location made exploring Eleuthera very easy.

Second stay at "Take ya time" and still enjoyed every moment. The contact with the owners are quick, easy, friendly. They do their best to make you feel relaxed during your vacations and if any problem occurs they find a solution within some minutes. The house is well maintained and even though you do not have a sea view the garden and palm trees around make the place nice to enjoy the front porch. Our favorite beaches are within a 15 - 20 mn ride like Rainbow bay, Cocodimama and Airport beach. We defenitly love this place and for sure we'll come back.

The cottage was beautiful and met our expectations. The drive to Governor's Harbour was a bit long but overall a wonderful place and time! Lovely area!

Take ya time cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed it.

We enjoy staying at Take Ya Time and come every summer. The location is very quiet and the nearby beaches are almost always empty! The owners are kind and always very prompt and helpful whenever issues arise. Our favorite pastimes on the island are diving and fishing with our friends in Spanish Wells ( Underwood Charters- they are the best!!!) and Monday night pizza night at Rainbow Inn. Can't wait to be back in Rainbow in July!!!

We had a fabulous time at Take Ya Time. Eleuthera is a beautiful island to explore and after a day of exploring it was great to come back to the house where everything we needed was there. Josette and Delano were very good hosts and answered all our questions and gave us info when we needed. We hope to be back again before too long!

Overall a very nice place. Clean, peaceful and comfortable. It’s location was great, not to far from the food store, and restaurants. Walking distance to a few beaches. The owners, were very helpful,and knowledgeable. I look forward to visiting the island again and staying there. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

If you are planning a stay in Eleuthera the Take ya Time Cottage is a great choice for the price. It is new, clean and beautifully furnished. I stayed with my husband and three children (16,14 and 8). Plenty of room for all of us and centrally located to many of our favorite beaches. The kitchen is very modern, so are the bathrooms and they had a washer and dryer! There were plenty of extra blankets, towels and they had things like dish soap, paper towels and washing detergent to get you started. We also loved bringing the kayak to Rainbow Bay. Josette and Delano were wonderful. They made sure we had great directions and were willing to help arrange transportation though we had already rented a car (highly recommend in Eleuthera). One evening of our stay we were hoping to unwind with a family movie as they have a broad selection of DVD's. We had difficulty with the VCR so I emailed Josette within a few minutes Delano was at our door with a new VCR and got it hooked up in minutes. Just incredible hospitality. Our family enjoyed reading the guest book to learn about other travelers adventures on Eleuthera and maps and book on local beaches was great too! Had a great time, the only problem is I wish we had stayed around the house more and traveled less. Very quiet and relaxing, read all the books you want on as the sun rises over the ocean. Next trip I will be spending much more time at the house. Perfect place for two friends to have a relaxing weekend away!

We loved staying here we would return again. The hosts were great. The place was perfect, just what we all needed to get away from it all. We recommend renting the car the entire stay, it was useful to get around. Also, if you go in late August, just beware that many places are closed, but that is okay you have no crowds. Eleuthera was beautiful.

If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you! Eleuthera was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It is such a beautiful, serene island. Josette and Delano were such great hosts and are very attentive to any of your needs/questions. We will definitely be returning to the island and booking with them again!

My husband and I made the decision to set a precedent in our life to live outside the box. We dedided to take a month long vacation but had no idea where we wanted to go. When we stumbled upon Eleuthera and this cottage in particular with all its amenities, we knew we had found our spot. We could not have been more pleased, as we had a trip of a lifetime! We rented the car for the entire month, so an average day began with packing our cooler, deciding on a direction to travel, and simply turning down any road that looked interesting. Interestingly enough, most road led to amazing sites. Some of our favorite spots were James Point, Twin cove beach, twin beach (right down from the house), cape Eleuthera, Lighthouse beach, and Whale Point. Tips for those making extended stays... Pack a cooler to bring with you full of meats, cheese, etc. Also, it's worth paying an extra baggage fee to bring other staples you may need for cooking. You will read that Eleuthera has high food prices, and believe me when I say, they are not exaggerating! We thankfully had groups of friends and family dispersed throughout our stay that could bring us items! The island is easy to get about with only one really main road and we could not have felt more safe trough out the entire month! This is a friendky island and everyone is happy to provide suggestions of things to do or help you find your way! Josette and Delano were perfect hosts! They live next door and are there to help you with anything you may need! The amenities provided from the golf car, bikes, kayaks, etc. truly set this rental apart from all others! We highly recommend anyone who is looking for a wonderful getaway that will satisfy any beach goer, adventurer, or anyone simply looking for a change in pace to check out this vacation spot! I've read many of the reviews from older adults, and was nervous that there would not be enough "entertainment" for myself (26) and my husband (31), but that was quickly eased and we will never forget this vacation for far more reasons than the memories made and suntans gained!!

Take Ya Time cottage is a beautiful coattage that has all the amenities of home, and more! Josette and Delano were very gracious hosts, and always available if we needed their assistance. The property with all it's beautiful foliage, sounds of nature and the ocean, were amazing! For a small fee, you can rent the 4 wheel drive Explorer, which was extremely convenient to tour the island, and maneuver roads that would be difficult for most cars. We enjoyed riding the golf cart around Rainbow Bay during the evenings, after touring the island all day! We highly recommend this beautiful property with all of its modern conveniences for your stay on the island. Eleuthera is the most beautiful place on earth, and we cannot wait to return to the island! Thank you Josette and Delano!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this place was perfect! We had a fabulous vacation on Eleuthera thanks to the comfort at Take Ya Time cottage and the hospitality of Josette and Delano. They are genuinely kind and helpful and have great tips for the best places to go. It's invaluable to have locals right next door to help if you have any type of emergency. At the same time, if you don't need anything, they are respectful of your privacy while you are there. The price is very reasonable, you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, and it really is a home away from home. We rented the Explorer from them and it was great for adventures to Harbour Island, Governor's Harbour, different restaurants in the various settlements, and our favorite beaches. They provide bikes, kayaks, float tubes, and a cooler with ice packs... all perfect additions to make day trips easier and more fun. Rainbow Bay Restaurant and a couple beaches are accessible by walking or with the bikes. Eleuthera is a beautiful island and the beaches are perfect for relaxing or playing. The locals on Eleuthera are extremely friendly. I've never been to a place where every single person you pass says hello or gives a wave. I always felt safe anywhere on the island and any person I asked was willing to help with directions or give recommendations for the best local food. I would love to go back one day and would recommend Take Ya Time and Eleuthera to anyone looking for a tropical vacation and the comforts of a home. Thank you so much Josette and Delano!

We stayed in the Take Ya Time Cottage this last winter for 6.5 weeks. We had my 92 year old mother with us and it was a comfort knowing when we were out and about that Josette, Elise, or Delano were just next door in case of an emergency. We also brought our furry kids and they enjoyed being able to run on off lead on the beaches and swim in the ocean. They provide kayaks, bicycles, and everything needed for the beach. You can stay for weeks and never see the same beach twice! Our favorites were Ten Bay and Gaulding Key. Don't miss the Friday night fish fry or just take a kayak on the golf cart down to Rainbow Bay and enjoy having a private beach all to yourselves. Thanks again Josette and Delano!

GET THE GOLF CART!! It will get you literally anywhere in rainbow bay. Just watch out for sand (we had to dig out if it like 3 times).It's close to 2 amazing beaches, one Caribbean (perfect for snorkeling) and one Atlantic (great if you want some more waves) so you can see both sun rise and set every day. The Caribbean beach at rainbow bay had the best snorkeling if you stayed along the cliff side. Jossete is also great at setting you up with any transportation you may want on the island. I was with a group of four 20 year olds and all the little things (kayaks, snorkels, wifi) made this location the perfect one for us.

This place has it all. Look no further. The listing descriptions are perfectly accurate. Never seen a cleaner and well-maintained holiday home. The house and facilities are just complete. Many extras available (Shuttles, car rental, etc.) But these Bahamian hosts make the difference. Whatever your needs, Josette and Delano provide it right away. Just helpful and very endearing people. We felt more than at home and absolutely recommend the place.
