The place was beautiful and peaceful! The pool was tempting but still not warm enough! The horses were a bonus George was extremely friendly and helpful and most of all he was accommodating to our scheduling needs.

When driving up the drive for the first time one gets an immediate feeling of WOW! what a beautiful home and acreage. The pictures on this site are spot on but the home and grounds are more spectacular in person. George is a very accommodating host and wants the best for you during your stay. One is supplied with all that is needed for a short or extended stay. If you are looking for somewhere that is clean, quiet, close to anything you need with bonus walking trails, horses that are beautiful to watch and love carrots, as well as a private swimming pool this is it. You will NOT be disappointed.

The place, the accommodation and George were just fantastic! We needed an intermediate accommodation during our move and it was just the best decision! I don't even want to go to the new house! ;) The guest suite is beautifully furnished, the surroundings are wonderful and George took such good care of us over the masses. We used the grill a lot, enjoyed our little terrace and the view with horses, deer, squirrels and birds! It was perfect, just great! Thank you so much! I really hope we will come again! This was our first VRBO experience and boy is the bar now set high by Stoasis! It truly was a home away from home. We will miss our morning walk to see the horses Willa and Bella. And boy was coffee on the porch a relaxing way to start the day. We will request to stay again next time we're back up in Alpharetta for work. Heaps of thanks George!

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to stay at George’s location and very much hope to visit again someday. He was the most gracious and kind host and offered me assistance when an unexpected circumstance popped up. I am very thankful to have been on his property. He truly goes out of his way for others. The property itself was a little slice of Heaven (in my opinion) and so peaceful. Beautiful location and the guest suite was very well set up to accommodate the needs of others. George has truly thought of everything! There really isn’t enough good things I could share :)

The property is in a beautiful setting and George is a gracious host. He welcomed me on the first morning with a gourmet breakfast. I started each day by walking a couple of laps around the property, down the hill to say hello to the horses and then up to the woods, where I always encountered a few deer. The apartment is small but beautifully furnished. George’s expertise in design is on full display. The bed is very comfortable and the bath is luxurious. The location was perfect for me. I could avoid the commercial areas by staying on the rural roads, but shopping areas were also readily accessible.

Very pleased that George was open to renting his guest suite to a college intern for the entire summer. Suite was comfortable, quiet, and clean. George’s home is on a beautiful, safe, and secluded property, yet it was close to work and stores. Owner was very pleasant and accommodating. Having a washer and dryer in the suite was an added bonus. I highly recommend this property. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Stoasis. Found the “mini”apartment very well maintained and comfortable. George added a wonderful breakfast for our first morning - excellent! Our accommodations were within 5 miles of our family - truly convenient. We spent most of our time in Georgia with family, but did take a walk to visit the horses - a truly beautiful setting. I had a terrific stay at Stoasis. The place is well-maintained, clean and hospitable. I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy a peaceful walk along the pathway to the barn. The horses greeted me as I strolled. The room is quiet and had everything needed. George is a terrific host and provided 1st morning breakfast to help with the travel transition. I travel for business to Alpharetta and will really enjoy staying at Stoasis frequently. Morning coffee on the patio while watching the horses graze is the best! Stoasis is quite simply summed up as "easy comfort".

Despite the two of us arriving after 11pm on check-in day, George was happy to greet us and give us a quick tour of the accommodations. Throughout the weekend, he was there when we needed him, and not there when we didn't...an excellent host. We had everything we needed, and knew that George was just a phone call or text message away if we ran out of anything, or needed help with something. The fridge had condiments and water and some goodies in it, and there were supplies of everything we needed in the kitchen. Shower supplies and clean towels were in the bathroom. It seems like our host thought of everything-including a visual diagram for how to use the remote controls. I asked about a map of the property when we checked-in, and the next morning received an email with four different maps, labeled with highlights/features on each! Thank you, George! Even though we did not take any walks during our stay, we did take a short stroll to the fence to meet and pet the beautiful horses, Willow and Bella. The property is serene and beautiful, and belies its "metro Atlanta" designation. It is close to all of the places we drove to during our stay, and is kept very neat and clean. I am looking forward to visiting again!

Absolutely beautiful property, a truly special place. Great location close to everything but incredibly peaceful and relaxing. A completely different experience than staying in the typical hotel. George was terrific, friendly, yet gave us our space. My wife mentioned candles when the power went out and that she liked the horses. He showed up with candles and carrots a little while later. The suite is very nicely done and spotless. Could not have asked for a better place to spend a few nights.

This place is beautiful. It is obvious there was a lot of attention put into the decor and design. The owner, George, is a terrific host. We enjoyed the short walk across the property and visiting with the resident horses. Bella and Willa are the sweetest horses. The place comes with all the comforts of home - kitchen, laundry machines, swimming pool, television, DVD player, and Google Home. It is secluded with lots of trees. It is close to the city, but just far enough away for some peace and relaxation. We only stayed a couple of days, but wish we could have stayed longer.

An incredible place. The owner has thought of everything. The welcome breakfast was incredible made from scratch. Everything was at our fingertips. You are only minutes from making it to local restaurants. Enjoy the walk along the trails at the edge of the property. It was staying on your own private estate at less cost than staying at a hotel. Wonderful secluded peaceful living unit attached to a beautiful home. The setting from the private back porch is a large nice landscaped area with a pool and views of the acreage down to the horse pastures. Lots of surrounding trees and occasional deer. A refuge from the most times hectic traffic in the Alpharetta/Roswell area. George is a very nice landlord. We will be back!

This is a beautiful property, very relaxing setting. We enjoyed breakfast on the back porch, an afternoon around the pool, petting the horses and daily walks to the nearby park. George is a great host.

George was so kind, sweet, and extremely attentive. He truly understands how to make your stay feel complete. It literally felt like hotel service. Always had trash taken, fresh warm towels, and coffee at hand. And had so many little items we forgot like shampoo, and kitchen condiments available. Beautiful little room. Will definitely return for a weekend out in alpharetta area.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing secluded retreat. It felt as if we were entering into a dream from the moment we turned up the winding driveway surrounded by woods. We stayed in the apartment on the south end of the large home, with parking right at our doorstep. The grandeur of the home was equalled by the sprawling immaculately manicured grounds overlooking paddocks with horses and modern outbuildings. The entire property is within the woods, with walking trails and a park nearby. We found a stream and meditation area and enjoyed the serenity and seclusion. The location was perfect - only a few miles from Alpharetta in one direction, and close to a shopping area in the other, where we found a gym and supermarket. It was an easy drive to the Marta station and other surrounding towns. There were plenty of activities to enjoy and places to visit. The apartment had everything we needed - from a functional kitchen to a roomy bathroom with separate toilet area, to a bedroom with a lovely view and wifi including a google speaker. The interior is clean and new, constructed with modern upscale fixtures and tile and tastefully decorated. There is a patio area accessible through the doors off the bathroom, where you can sit and eat, have morning coffee, or just enjoy the view. The bird songs were a perfect background for the setting, away from all the traffic and city noise. George took the time to visit with us, he lives right next door and was thorough in explaining all we needed to know about the apartment and the area. He was quick to attend to our requests, yet otherwise remained unseen and gave us our space. We cooked all of our own meals, so a regular stove/oven would have been handy, however the portable, plug-in, double burner electric hob was sufficient and would be all that most people would need. We got a bit chilly a few of the nights, but we understand the weather was unseasonably cool while we were there. There was a large washer and dryer in the kitchen which was great to accommodate a longer stay. When we visit the area again, George’s place will be our first choice. We are frequent travelers of various countries, and have stayed in many different types of homes, and rate this one at the top of the list.

I live and work in the area but needed to stay somewhere for a week and could not have chosen a better place. From the parking spot right outside my door to the back porch where I had my morning coffee, I could not have felt more at home. A very inviting and relaxing atmosphere that is private and secluded. Highly recommended!

Will be back next time we visit relatives n the area. Felt like home.
