À seulement 9 marches jusqu'à l'étage principal où se trouvent la cuisine et le salon modernes avec une télévision à écran plat de 55 pouces et un coin repas. Grill ou tout simplement profiter du lac et des vues sur la montagne.
Une des rares maisons sans voisin et à deux pas de Larkin. L'épicerie d'Ingle est si proche qu'il n'y a pas lieu de s'inquiéter si quelque chose est oublié.
Au rez-de-chaussée se trouvent 3 chambres et la salle de bain. La première chambre a un lit queen avec de belles portes françaises qui mènent à une terrasse privée avec une table à manger pour deux au-dessus de l'eau pour profiter de votre café du matin. Il y a une autre table à manger le long du hangar à bateaux si vous souhaitez admirer la vue sur le canal principal. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen avec une vue spectaculaire sur l'eau avec une porte privée sur une autre terrasse.
La 3ème chambre a un ensemble de lits superposés et un lit simple. La couchette du bas est un lit double, donc cette chambre Adventure peut accueillir quatre personnes.
La salle de bain est également située au rez-de-chaussée et dispose également d'une deuxième porte vers l'extérieur pour une entrée facile.
Il y a un canapé-lit pour 2 dans le salon principal.
Le bain à remous est assez grand pour 6 personnes pour s'asseoir confortablement et est au bord de l'eau; Mais l'intimité est quelque peu assurée entre les deux hangars à bateaux!
Profitez de la belle balançoire dans le hangar à bateaux ou détendez-vous et lisez un sort dans le hamac.

L'une des choses préférées à faire est de prendre le kayak pour 2 personnes sur le lac ou de simplement jouer près de la maison avec les radeaux, les nouilles et les flotteurs fournis.

We had a wonderful time! The lake is amazing! The kids had a blast jumping off the boat house. Location of home is very close to town and all stores. We would definitely recommend Lake Lure to everyone!

Coming from Asheville, I was able to make a last minute vacation for Lake Lure. Although it is winter and they had lowered the lake a bit we still had an amazing time! House was cute and had all the things we needed- especially the hot tub! Location to Chimney Rock and POI was perfect. There is the most comfy, snuggily bed I’ve ever slept in. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying this Vrbo and Lake Lure an again soon. Also, if you’re there and adventurous- check out the amazing family that does ATV tour/rentals called Boon Life Adventures. SO much fun!!!

This charming spotlight on the Lake was the perfect weekend getaway. From the beautiful decor, to the stunning lake front deck space and the convenience of the pontoon boat, giving us the full Lake experience, nothing could’ve made this trip better. With the homes convenient location, nestled between the LakeHouse restaurant and chimney rock, it was the ultimate location. The hosts were delightful, and their personalized tour of the home when we arrived was wonderful. Whether you have a family, a girls trip, or a romantic getaway planned, we highly recommend this one of a kind dream spot.

This is a great place to hang out outside and have fun in the lake. We enjoyed sunsets, lunch and dinner on the boat, paddle boarding, kayaking, floating raft, hammock swing over the water and just sitting and watching the fish jump. Very close to Chimney Rock State Park for a challenging hike.

We enjoyed staying here. It was a really unique house. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The deck was phenomenal and we had a blast using the boat. FYI the room with the bunk beds is off the deck in a separate building so requires walking out near the water. Not a room for young kids to sleep in. It would be perfect for teens.
The only thing is it smelled of dog urine. The couches were shredded, the throw blankets/pillows had stains and smelled. One of the blankets had old stained blood on it. Just buy some new blankets, pillows, couch covers.
Mike was extremely friendly when he met us there. We have stayed at many VRBOs so we did not need a full tour explanation of the remotes/light switches etc. Just an overview of the boat would have been appropriate. We did not need an hour long introduction. After travel we were starving and just ready to drop our stuff off and go to dinner. Also, he did not pay any attention to my husband and myself who were paying for this space. He was only addressing my father in law. Yes I look young but would have appreciated a little bit of respect and not put off.

For the location, amenities, and atmosphere, this place was awesome. The owner gave great suggestions on the location and was available and responsive to too of our questions. Perfect location in relation to what we needed access to including a restaurant you can take the boat over to or the grocery store a half mile away. This place has everything you need to stay a weekend or a week with the whole family.

We wanted a getaway at the last minute and it was by pure luck this property was available for us. It was perfect! The location was great and beautiful! Having the boat and the decks and docks worked well for us. We took our dog with us and I could walk him across the road to get his daily exercise. Pretty furnishings that made it feel like vacation. Everything was provided, so we didn't need much. The grocery store, restaurants, activities were all close by. The owners greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour and answered any questions. Quite the hospitality!!

The location of this house right on the water is great and so convenient. There are so many outdoor gathering areas with multiple decks to choose from. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, paddleboards, and of course the pontoon boat. We had such a great time!

We had the BEST time! Owner was extremely easy to contact and always available whenever we needed her. Everything was clean and the views from the deck are just unreal! Boat was so easy to use! We had everything we needed in the house. Would highly recommend!!

We loved having the hot tub and access to a pontoon boat, although we only took it out twice. The location on the lake could not be beat! We use the kayaks a lot as the house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac if you will on the lake. The place was not the cleanest - couch cushions were stained and ripped, and there were a number of things that needed to be fixed, but we were renting at the end of the rental season so that is to be expected. The one negative was the fact that they only had one bathroom. So it was tight foe my family of five. Also my kids were not comfortable sleeping in the boat house as it is detached from the main house, so just be aware that the third bedroom is not under the same roof. It is an adorable room and could easily sleep three kids, if they were comfortable on their own. It even has a heater to keep them warm at night. The pontoon boat was easy to drive and park, and it was definitely awesome to get out on the water. Overall we had a awesome time and would highly recommend this place for a “glamping” vacation.

Great location with hiking, lake activities, and grocery store close. Enjoyed using the kayaks and boat...our kids were busy the entire time. Sitting on deck overlooking the lake was very relaxing. Ability to bring dog was a bonus! Tara was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The owners could not have been more friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! We arrived late in the evening and the house was all lit up, soft music was playing and scented candles permeated the air. It was enchanting! We were able to relax immediately. The house is very cute, beautifully decorated, and was perfect for our small group. We had a blast on the boat, the lake is very easy to navigate. We also had fun jumping off the deck right into deep water and kayaking around the cove just next to the house. The hot tub is on a secluded part of one of the many decks, looked brand new, and was very relaxing. We also spent some time in Chimney Rock - a very quaint town 10 mins away - where we ate and shopped. The entrance to the Chimney Rock park is in the middle of town - a straight shot from the house. Our 8-year old says his favorite part was zipping around the lake on the pontoon boat and fishing off one of the decks at the house :) A great time was had by all!

We had many enjoyable pontoon boat rides to see beautiful sunsets and the views of Lake Lure. The kayaks were great to take relaxing trips on the lake. Tara was great to work with. She showed us around the house and how everything worked. Looking forward to coming here next year.

We had an amazing time at Lake Lure,. Tara was a charming and helpful host, mountains are gorgeous and the sunsets were spectacular. The amenities were many and this made for the perfect family vacation. We parked the car and spent 3 glorious sun-filled days swimming and boating (pontoon and kayaks) and jumping off the 15 ft deck to into 30ft water (my kids favorite activity and grandma even jumped a few times). The grocery with everything you could want and a great restaurant (try the parmesan trout YUM!) are within a short walk. I hope we can visit again soon.

Tara and Mike have a wonderful property. The views we amazing and the locations to local places were convenient. We were less than 5 minutes from the grocery store and less than 5 minutes from a very good restaurant. Everything was cozy and comfortable in the house. Having access to the boat sealed the deal for my party. What a relaxing time!!!!!

I now call this the light mint lake dream house, and I love it! I've admired this from afar and it was everything I dreamt it would be and more. The inside and outside was lovely, our stay was amazing. The home had everything we needed, plus a ton of floats, life jackets and three kayaks! The boat was awesome. The weather was perfect all weekend and this home has the perfect deck for soaking up the sun. We will be back!
