A beautifully maintained 1700’s spot with exposed original beams and yet all the modern amenities you’ll need. In a great location, walk to local shops and restaurants and a short drive to Salem. Cheryl and David are attentive, responsive, awesome hosts. We had no problem finding a close place to park on the street. Highly recommend!!!

When I say that we fell in love with the neighborhood…I’m not lying. Everything is a walk away. We walked to the coffee house, book store, grocery store, and three different restaurants for dinner. It’s a historic neighborhood with houses built very long ago. This property is perfect for couples or small families. It has everything you need to include washer, dryer, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, and all the kitchen utensils. The view of the harbor is gorgeous and about a three minute walk away. I would not recommend this property for disabled individuals just because of the stairs. We had zero issues parking on the street, but just be aware that you may have to park down the street. We visited in the fall (Halloween), and it was absolutely beautiful. I almost don’t want to leave a good review so this place stays a secret but I can’t. Marblehead should be a main attraction instead of an outside suburb to visit. 💙

We had an amazing weekend staying here. Gorgeous house, stunning views and incredibly friendly hosts. The apartment was fully stocked and extremely clean. On street parking was simple and close. The town of Marblehead is picture perfect with endless things to do around the area. Salem is a short drive and was a great time. We would gladly come back and stay here again. The hosts are so sweet and very helpful if you have any questions. Definitely come check this little gem out.

Overall the place was spotless and exactly as advertised. It has a lot of nice touches for a traveler. The only downfall was the parking. It was horrible which left my oldest daughter who was driving to walk back by herself in the dark once she parked.

Very clean. Nice bathroom and shower. Queen bed very comfortable. Multiple walks around old town Marblehead. Just around the corner from BYC for my MHS HS reunion Saturday night. Will hopefully book again in the future.

Lovely Marblehead charm. We enjoyed the covered deck with the view of the harbor. We even had the fortune of being able to enjoy a summer storm from the deck. Kitchen had everything you could want and the updated bathroom was a dream.

We enjoyed our stay. A great place to experience the Marblehead experience. At first, we were a little dismayed, to discover that we couldn’t park within three blocks of our home. However we soon got the hang of it and enjoyed our daily walks. Very comfortable stay

We loved our stay at this property. We visit Marblehead every summer to visit family and have stayed at multiple rentals. The location was great easy to walk to both parts of town - restaurants and shops. We loved the covered porch with harbor views - perfect for enjoying coffee. the space is efficient and has everything you need to be comfortable. The hosts are lovely. We hope to stay there again during future visits.

Wonderful experience. Fabulous host. Be careful on the steps though. And parking is a bear, but that's the neighborhood, built for horses not cars . It's historic, full of charm and walkable. Water views and very comfortable.

It was our first time to Marblehead and this property was clean, quaint, and close to everything! We walked many miles every day and loved that this was a walking town. My Wife and I stayed here for a 4 day stop for our 10 year anniversary trip. It was a short ride to Salem and was the perfect east coast experience! The location has an awesome view and is walking distance to a grocery store and coffee shops. Would 100% recommend people stay here.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. The place was very clean, comfy, and a great location. We drove to Salem a few days, walked to the park down the street and sat by the water, and walked to the local market and restaurants. Not sure if I missed this in the description, but if you have any trouble climbing stairs or carrying a lot from your car there is a flight of stone stairs to go up to get to your first floor apartment. I struggled a bit in the rain with my suitcase! Lol

The space that we rented was perfect for me and two other friends. The owners were easy to communicate with and the property was very clean. We stayed here in Marblehead and went to Salem during the day. Marblehead is absolutely beautiful! So much history and you can easily walk through all of the historic houses. Definitely recommend! My mom, sister and I rented this property in the precious Marblehead neighborhood! They were very accomadating and this property is walking distance to downtown Marblehead...while being just a short drive to Salem. The neighbors in the area are very kind and helpful as well. Everything was clean in this rental and had all of thr little things you need that you forgot to pack as well :)

Everything you need and more: if the owners of this property forgot to put in any items that might be needed by people staying in the apartment, I couldn’t identify what those might be. The location is ideal as you can walk to old town or new town and really don’t have to drive - so if you get a parking space you better keep it :-). I was astonished at the renovations In this 18th century property switch allowed plenty of lighting plenty of electrical sockets normal ceiling heights, etc. Extra touches like some spices in the kitchen and an icemaker in the freezer are very much appreciated.

Excellent location in a quiet street in Old Town in a house built in mid 1700s.
Hosts very accommodating. House was pristine, comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were superb. House overall is excellent and has many outlets to plug in devices. Very large HD TV. The outside deck is were we lived.

Cozy Old Town Marblehead Apartment
Wonderful, quiet, well appointed, flat steps from the harbor. Bath and kitchen have been thoughtfully updated while retaining the charm of the 18th century home. If there is no parking on Lee St, cut right up Tucker to Washington Square around Abbot Hall. Sneak down Lookout to Prospect Alley on foot and you will be right back at the house. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. We had a lovely stay in my beautiful home town.

This is the perfect place for 2 people. What a wonderful place full of history with modern update. Only steps to down town Marblehead for the adorable shops. If you don't know how to parallel park , this is not the place for you.

Felt like home
The apartment was perfect for our small family. We could see the water from the deck and the owners were so helpful with tips to plan our travel to and from the city. We absolutely loved this little town and hope to go back!

Good experience overall, but description was misleading
We had a great time overall. The place was comfortable and clean and Marblehead was lovely. However, there was some false advertising in this listing. It's listed as having two bedrooms, but really it's just one bedroom and the living room. I do realize that we could have figured this out from a closer inspection of the pictures and the floor plan, but the listing still seems misleading. Also, parking is listed as an included amenity, but we were not allowed to use the garage and instead had to find street parking--which can be very difficult on these small roads if you're trying to park after dark. Lastly, the pictures of the view don't match what's actually there. I think they were taken from the upper level of the house, which guests cannot access. We COULD see the water from our deck, but I would hardly describe it as "sweeping harbor views." We definitely had a good time, but we don't really think we got everything we paid for.
