This reverse-plan, four-bedroom, 4.5 bath Dudley Parker built home is perched up on a wooded, winding drive-emerging above treetops to reveal spectacular seascapes. The house is conveniently located near the center of the Island and close to the Market, island shopping, dining and all clubs and amenities. And most importantly, direct beach access to South Beach is only a 2-minute walk.
This home's first level offers private front and side porches and, inside, its foyer warmly welcomes you to beach living. We’ve stayed in many houses at Bald Head Island and really enjoyed Captain Tanks. Nice location on the dune with views of the ocean and a breeze. The house is well-stocked with beach and kitchen items, bikes, and everything we needed. Clean and well taken care of and overall in excellent condition. Easy walk or bike ride to beach access just a couple of hundred yards away. The property management company responded immediately when a golf cart had a flat tire. They fixed it up and dropped it off at the house in less than an hour.

Wow, wow, wow! Like staying in a brand new home! Captain Tank's has sneaky great views even though it is perfectly tucked away - feels like a private retreat. Has absolutely everything you'd need from amazing beach towels to a beach wagon. Fun little Captain Tank's touches everywhere! Perfect size for our family of 5, with room to spare. We'll be BACK!

We've rented this beautiful house several times, and it's a family favorite. The front covered porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. We love the view of the ocean from the porch out front, as well as the view of the dune ridge out the back. The elevator makes moving in and out a breeze. Great kitchen, wonderful master suite, and just a short walk to the beach. Well maintained over the years, always clean, and the Wendy Wilmot folks are such a pleasure to work with. A real gem!

This home was the perfect spot for our family. My husband and I kept saying all week how nice the home was, how clean, well equipped and not to mention the view and location was great! Plenty of room for each of our kids to sleep in their own rooms, open floor plan, conveniently located and just a very light and airy space. Will definitely rent this home in the future!
