First, parking is at the back of the unit. It is reversed from other hotels we have stayed at. We found a lot of live and dead German roaches throughout the unit. We were not sure if they sprayed the unit before we got there. We were very satisfied and happy with the unit and will recommend it to other family and friends. The unit was comfortable, and the price was right. In the future I will be sure to stay with you again in this specific unit. Mahalo

My son and I thought this was a great home base as it was in between Lahaina, airport, road to Hana etc.. we didn't spend much time at the location but it was a clean, comfortable place to rest between excursions!

Everything was great. Big TV, wifi, AC. Clean and welcome basket. Ron and Shirley were very nice and walked us through personally.

We checked in here on Dec 2nd, 2021. Opened the front door and found a huge semi dead cockroach on the floor. I call it semi dead, because although it was on its back, it’s legs were still wiggling! I let out a sharp yell and ran outside! That should have been our first big red signal, but we gave the condo a chance. Plus we arrived there at around 10pm at night and didn’t have the energy to look for different accommodations. We had booked this place for 2 nights and as our stay progressed, we saw all the following: poor cleanliness, stained bedspreads, uncomfortable pillows, more dead cockroaches and a freakin’ mouse/rat that leapt out of my food bag at 4am in the morning, when I opened it to get water! It sprinted away behind the oven and after a lot of freaking out, I was only glad to know that we were going to check out of this horrible place. Not to forget, we also spotted a lizard crawling by the bed that my kids were sleeping on. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!

Enjoyed the location of the condo. It’s proximity allowed us to visit several sights and locations. Above all, it was a direct route to a dialysis clinic for me. The drive to the clinic was direct and only 10-15 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay even just for one night. The property was so well equipped even with beach towels, chairs and sand toys! The pool was an extra bonus! A/c worked great and beds were decent. Lots of space 2 bathrooms is always a plus Thank you so much!

Even though the place was clean and well equipped, the location is not ideal for a longer stay. It’s very remote,very windy and very outdated in decor. We did however appreciate the owner accommodating us for one night for the 6 of us.

The condo was very clean, updated and spacious. Nice landscaping, very quiet and peaceful surrounding, beautiful view, only a few steps to the ocean. We spent most of our time outside for exploring and sightseeing so didn't spend much time at the condo. Since our first time in Maui we chose this central location of the island so we could drive a little shorter to explore all directions. Overall we were happy with our stay there

We had a great time here. It was clean and in a generally great location. Our only quibble is that it is right under the flight line but that isn’t a fault of the property, it is what it is. I do suggest, though, that some rail or guide is put in the master shower for the door. That thing is massive and it is very unsettling moving it back and forth when the bottom just swings out. Otherwise we loved it! Would stay again.

Great place, the only thing I would have like to have improved is the screen doors and windows because they need replaced. Would have loved to had windows open and that beautiful breeze of Maalaea bay. Everything else was great, stocked well and clean. Loved watching the whales in the bay both morning and evening.

The place was ok but it wasn’t what we really were looking for. Pictures a bit deceiving. The Carpet smelled and no air conditions in the bedroom except fans. Place looks clean. Ron the owner was a very nice guy and are working to get our refund . .

The apartment was clean and well afforded. Maalaea is a 10-15 minute drive to Kahalui/Wailuku and Kihei. The area around Maalaea lacks any activity and is usually pretty windy. If you're looking for a place that's on the main road but you have to drive anywhere then Maalaea is ok. I would not characterize this as spectacular.

This condo was first class all the way! The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedding was awesome! Loved the outdoor dining with an ocean view. Our best night was a barbeque at the pool.

Very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath right on the ocean! We didn't have much time to enjoy on this very last minute short trip but we will definitely look up Ron again when we return and hopefully with a lot more notice!

We just spend a wonderful week at one of the unit at Kanai A Nalu condo. Our host Ron was very helpful and trustworthy as we had an unfortunate double booking accident before the vacation approach. Ron went extra miles and patiently worked with us to find an even better unit than the one we booked, best part, without any extra charge:-) Staying in this area is actually the best value you can get, beach front, roomy for big families and lots of close by activity, the harbor is right by the side for all kinds of ocean tours, and the Maui Ocean Center is right next door.

I appreciated the owner would rent for just two nights. It was clean and centrally located. We loved our stay there.

We really enjoyed staying at your condo. The location is great. We are both avid walkers and could walk to Sugar Beach or to the Maalaea Harbor for dinner, shopping, or tours in a short amount of time. The condo is very roomy and has most of the amenities you will need. They even have beach chairs stored in the closet that the guests can use. The view is very nice and when the windows are open, you can hear the ocean splashing at the shore. We would definitely recommend this condo.

Awesome place to stay. Great location. We were in walking distance to a whale watching tour. And the area wasn't very busy so you really feel relaxed! So great to get away from the hustle and bustle of Oahu! Thank you so much!

This condo was on the windier side of the island but the first day we had little to no wind at all. The unit has everything you need including beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and the beds were really comfortable. Very nice large grills by pool for those that like to cook out. We enjoyed watching the large sea turtles playing in the ocean just down from the condo. We even had bottle of wine and package of Hawaiian coffee awaiting our arrival. Many of the other families in this condo own their units and were great to talk too. Overall great experience for our first time on Maui.

My family (my husband, myself, my daughter, her husband and their 3 children (ages 4 and 9 month old twins) stayed a week in this condo. It was a perfect size for all of us. Ron provided us with Pack and Plays for the babies to sleep in. There was plenty of room to put a "crib" in each bedroom. What was really nice was that a portion of the wall between the living room and main bedroom opened up, making it very comfortable for my 4 yr old grandson at nights when he slept on the sleeper couch. There were nice granite countertops, stainless appliances and beautifully tiled tub/shower areas. Some of the small kitchen appliances were dated and there were no condiments, like salt and pepper provided. We bought everything, but that wasn't really a big deal. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was fantastic! There were some beach chairs, beach towels and sand toys provided. For the babies, we used Akamai Mothers Rentals in Kihei. They were amazing!!! They had age appropriate toys for the twins, high chairs, double stroller and more. They made the arrangements with Ron to deliver everything by the time we checked in..... then came by to pick everything up on the day we left. Maalaea is located perfectly between Kahului, Kihei and Lahaina.... about 15 mins to the airport. The only downside to Maalaea is that it is super windy. There is no actual beach in front of the building, however there is a tiny beach area at the edge of the property and many times there were tons of sea turtles playing in the waves .... much to my grandson's delight. The pool is heated and there are very nice gas barbeques in the pool area (the BBQ's in the pictures have been replaced and upgraded). All the people we met at the condominium were SO NICE. The outside patio area had a table and chairs and lots of greenery and flowering bushes to make you feel like you had some privacy. Although there are a couple of General Stores within walking distance, they close by 4pm and the closest grocery store is several miles away in Kihei. A rental car is a must. A wonderful aquarium and great shops are closeby and, for some, within walking distance. This condo is a good, comfortable place for a family.

We had never been to Maui and were not sure where to stay. A family member got us in touch with Ron and we must say it was the best decision ever. We wanted to experience Maui away from the resort/tourist areas and this place was perfect. Most of the people we met here were residents of the condo's and very welcoming. This unit is centrally located on the island and we never had to drive far to get where we wanted. We truly appreciated Ron's hospitality and creature comforts. Our flight got into Maui late and we were worried about coffee in the morning, not to worry though, Ron had a welcome basket waiting for us that included a bag of local coffee! Our flight leaving Maui was a late departure and Ron arranged a late checkout for us so we would not be "living in our rental car" until later that night. We will be back and look forward to another excellent stay in Maui. Again, thank you Ron, my wife did have the vacation of a lifetime that I was hoping to give her!

My family and I stayed at the condo for a week and we were very happy with both the condo and the attention given to us during our stay. Mr. Ron accommodated our requests and was very attentive with me and my family. With a late flight home, we were worried about having a place to stay until our departure. Ron provided us with a comfortable place and he definitely went out of his way to make our stay in Maui pleasant. The condo was very nice and well equipped. I would definitely recommend this condo to a family looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay.

We just stayed at this condo this past week. We were so spoiled! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, beach towels and toys and snorkel sets as well! My husband was definitely won over with all the extras. Wifi access was great-I had papers to finish for graduate classes, and had no problem accessing the website and resources. The location was perfect; we were able to get to Lahaina, Haleakala, and the beaches on the southeast side of Maui. Even the airport was less than an hour away. My daughter met a sea turtle on the nearby beach, and my kids were eager to spend as much time as possible in the pool. The tour guides, maps and phone book were excellent resources, and we were able to do everything we wanted to do. The bed in the master was great; I usually don't do well with hotel beds. And as someone who uses a cane to get around, I had no trouble. I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation in Maui and would highly recommend this one. I know when we get to go back to Maui, this condo is first on our list! Thank you so much!

We booked this Condo for our weekend due to attending a graduation. We have had a good and comfortable stay. The unit was up to our expectations and was very accessible for our elderly disabled mom. We enjoyed our BBQ at the pool with beautiful ocean views. I would recommend this unit to anyone and I hope to return in the near future. Thanks Ron for all your help and the greeting.

What a wonderful spot to relax & enjoy. So central to everywhere,& so peaceful,(no traffic)! I can't thank Ron enough for accommodating our request for some extra time on check-in & out -- couldn't have been better for us.I'm a dedicated Poipu Beach,Kauai lover, but this condo will be my choice for any return to Maui. No complaints about the wind-- keeps the clouds away,& the temperature perfect. We loved watching the turtles out front at the little beach, & were treated to an amazing whale show on our tour with the Pacific Whale Foundation people -- we really lucked out so early in the season! Your beach chairs were failing, Ron, so we bought one new one & left it in the condo. We made good use of the snorkels & cooler as well. Thanks for having them there. Aloha from Vancouver Island -- we'll be back some day!!

This unit is immaculate! We had a bad experience at the original condo we rented (not in this complex) and we needed a new plan fast. The owner let us squeeze in between a few other bookings and did it with absolutely no problems at all. We found this unit to be VERY clean, fully equipped and wonderfully upgraded. The views, the nice pool and the turtles were all just added bonuses! We would return to this unit again AND definitely recommend it to others! Thank you Ron for saving our vacation and for being so GREAT to work with! Mahalo!
