Notre chalet nommé 'Zillies' est conçu pour que deux personnes se présentent et aient tout ce dont elles ont besoin pour une incroyable visite sans soucis ... vélos, kayaks, chaises de plage, parasol, jouets de plage, glacières, grils à gaz / charbon de bois, draps et serviettes sont tous inclus dans votre location. Les draps monogrammés, les serviettes moelleuses et une grande bibliothèque de DVD ne sont que quelques-uns des "extras" spéciaux que vous apprécierez. C'est le parfait romantique, relaxant, évadez-vous pour tout couple. Les jeunes mariés adorent les Zillies! Jeep Wrangler 4x4 disponible à la location. Les systèmes stéréo de son surround Bose avec les stations d'accueil I Pod et le WIFI ne sont que quelques-unes des excellentes fonctionnalités que vous trouverez. Zillies Cottage n'est pas votre location moyenne. Décoré de nos trésors de plage et des œuvres d'art de nos jeunes nièces et neveux, c'est un petit chalet magique. Zillies a également une douche extérieure incroyable que tous nos clients adorent (consultez les commentaires). La douche est décorée de nos trésors de plage spéciaux que nous avons trouvés au fil des ans. Nous l'appelons "trésor de terres étrangères". :-)

Although this property was conveniently located close to the main road - and had the opportunity to use beach bikes as part of rental - the cottage itself was not very comfortable, the stairs leading to bedroom and only bathroom on second floor were dangerous, and it lacked outdoor privacy and views of anything beyond the nite sky which was lovely from upper deck. The back deck was connected to another property that included rear entrance to venue open daily from 11am-8:30pm and stairs leading to residence above so even though there was a sitting area and fun outdoor shower, you never knew when one of the owners or staff would be passing by or stepping out onto the deck for a break. So beware - the deck is not all that romantic or private and believe the cottage owners should be more transparent about this.

The cottage was warm, cozy, clean, and inviting. My wife and I were looking for a place to unplug, and Ocracoke Island was just what we needed. Renting a golf cart to tool around the island, was pure joy. We highly recommend both the cottage, we stayed in, and the island itself.

Nice place to stay. To no fault of the owner we did not stay the full time due to the power off and not able to get a shower, watch TV or store groceries.

We had a great time at Zillies Cottage! The owners were extremely prompt and helpful with their responses. The property is exactly as described, very clean, and in a great location. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in Ocracoke!

We absolutely loved our weekend away. The cottage was perfect for our needs! And when the weather trapped us on the island, Jeff and Wendy worked with us and were able to rent it to us for an extra night. We would definitely stay here again!

Very cute and perfect for the length of stay we had. My wife is already thinking of next year and when to return! The owners of the wine shop were originally from Richmond as we were and we kinda hit it off with them. Everything was as detailed as you stated. A couple of light bulbs were out and the front door lock was loose (I fixed) but other than that it couldn't have been better as was the weather. Thanks so much!

We absolutely loved this property. Very clean and well-maintained. Quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. This property is absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway. Ocracoke is a wonderful place to visit. We will be back.

Nice rental for a couple. Clean and well maintained. It is a little small, but has everything you need to during your stay. Be advised the stairs both going into the property and up to the second floor are very steep. Might be an issue for some older folks. Parking is a little tight if you have a big car or truck. Location is behind Zilly’s store. We both would recommend this place to stay while in Ocracoke. Property owner seemed like very nice people and were helpful to us during our stay.

This is our second visit to Zillie’s Cottage. It is a wonderful getaway place. It is tucked in directly behind Zillie’s Pantry, a great place to have a glass of wine or craft beer.
The hosts provide both bicycles and kayaks. We certainly enjoyed biking around the village during our stay.
We highly recommend this cottage for any couple wanting to enjoy a nice quiet retreat.
The hosts maintain the cottage well and are easy to communicate with.
There is one consideration -You need to be comfortable climbing stairs.

Mother Nature was not cooperative on first day n it was Cold, windy, cloudy n drizzling. Heat was not working in bedroom but downstairs did n managed to keep warm. No soap to take shower, so purchased some. Sun was out next day, good location n had a nice time! Husband reminded me we were on ‘Island Time.❣️

It was an enjoyable spring break inspire of the weather. The property (Zillies) met all expectations. Very well designed, conveniently located in town (but no water view). Would recommend it to singles or couples.

Our stay at Zillies cottage on Ocracoke was relaxing and fun. The island is a great place to escape from the routine and demands of the 9 to 5 world. The cottage was charming and centrally located to many fantastic restaurants and shops. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to a chance to return to the island life.

This place was just as advertised. A little gem on Ocracoke for large enough for a couple. My wife and I enjoyed our time at the Zillies cottage and our time on Ocracoke. We will be coming back for sure! Thank you to Wendy and Jeff, for allowing us to spend time in their cottage. We LOVED IT!

Very cute and convenient to many locations. Parking could be an issue if you have a larger vehicle due to the tight drive but you figure out how to work it. Overall great place.

This is our third time renting Zillies and it's the coziness that we love along with the amenities. The location is great to walk to resturants and my wife's favorite coffee, Ocracoke Coffee Shop. We loved riding the bikes provided and the owners are very responsive and helpful. If you rent Zillies you won't be disappointed.

After spending an enjoyable week with extended family up in Nags Head, Denise and I traveled to Ocracoke to recharge! :) Jeff and Wendy's cottage was just what we needed. Off the main drag, many of one's needs are within walking distance to the village. Lots of great food options, the local museum, stores, ice cream shop, outdoor recreation alternatives, NPS tours/talks, the ferry (Swan Quarter& Cedar Island) and perhaps best of all, right on one of the Tram (free shuttle service) stops which can take you around many of the other sights at the south end of the island. Perfect getaway!
The house was perfect for me and my husband! The walk to Zillies each evening was a great way to end the day. The house had everything we needed and was exactly as described/pictured.

Ocracoke trip
Ocracoke is a great, small community. The beach which runs the entire island is amazing. Couldn’t go wrong with any of the local eateries. Cottage is a good place for 2 people to sleep and unwind. Only drawback was sharing deck space with shop. Owners of shop are very friendly.

Cute, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed staying at this quiet property, of course, it was off-season. Our ferry was canceled due to high winds and the owners offered us some flexibility if we needed it, but we ended up taking the Hatteras ferry instead (the only one running that day) and doing some driving back-tracking to make our next night’s stay.

Zillies was a very fun place for us to stay, located on a quiet street in the town. It was immaculate and everything we needed was there for us.

Perfect Space
Zillies Cottage was the perfect getaway for my wife and I! They prepared the cottage with all the necessary things you need for Ocracoke, so we didn’t have to bring much! Great use of space, excellent views from the decks, great location on the island! Located behind Zillies Bar it was a 25 second walk home after hanging out there!
