ROSE LAKE LODGE 12 ACRE ESTATE 4,830 SQ. FT WATERFRONT, PRIVATE SANDY BEACH, SPA
Ce chalet de 4 830 pieds carrés au bord du lac est situé sur plus de 11 acres et offre une vue à 180 degrés sur le lac et la montagne depuis presque toutes les pièces! Il pourra accueillir jusqu'à 17 personnes dans des lits (j'autoriserai 20 personnes max) avec cinq chambres et trois salles de bain sur deux étages, plus un loft de 800 pieds carrés avec lit king size, une couchette pleine grandeur avec un lit simple sur le dessus.
C'est l'endroit parfait pour les mariages et les réunions de famille. J'ai eu beaucoup des deux au fil des ans. Je reçois toujours de jolies cartes et des lettres des gens qui sont restés ici me racontant le bon moment que leur famille a passé, la beauté de la maison et comment ils ont hâte de revenir l'été prochain.
Je ne fournis que des meubles de qualité, des draps, des serviettes, des savons, du papier toilette, des appareils électroménagers et des ustensiles. J'ai une laveuse et une sécheuse à chargement frontal haut de gamme sur place. Je suis fier de garder la maison impeccable pour chaque location. Les jardins sont toujours bien entretenus.
La maison comprend également du parquet, une cheminée en pierre de rivière dans le salon, une cuisine ouverte et une salle à manger avec vue sur l'eau. Les plafonds cathédrale en bois de cèdre créent une atmosphère chaleureuse et confortable. La très grande suite principale a des plafonds cathédrale de deux étages, une terrasse privée donnant sur le lac, un foyer au gaz et un bain à remous privé dans la grande suite de bain principale.
Il y a une autre grande terrasse hors du salon avec un bain à remous, une table de patio, un barbecue à gaz et une vue magnifique sur le lac. La maison a également son propre quai privé, une plage de sable avec foyer et table de pique-nique.
Le lac Rose très privé est idéal pour le ski nautique, le wakeboard, la pêche et le canotage. La plupart du temps, vous aurez le lac pour vous. L'eau est très calme et idéale pour tous les sports nautiques.
Il y a aussi une autre rampe pour bateaux à moins de trois kilomètres de la maison qui vous permettra d'accéder au lac Coeur d'Alene si vous apportez votre propre bateau.
La maison est également proche des sentiers de randonnée, de vélo et de motoneige, ainsi que de nombreux terrains de golf de la région. Il est à moins de 15 minutes de la station de ski de Silver Mountain et de sa célèbre télécabine la plus longue du monde. La station de ski Look Out Pass est à seulement 45 minutes à l'est du Montana avec la meilleure neige et les meilleurs tarifs de remontée quotidiens!
Silver Mountain Resort a ouvert un tout nouveau parc aquatique et machine à vagues en 2008. The house and the beach was a great place for us to connect with our three adult kids and our six grandchildren (ages 6 weeks to 8 year old). They were content to play on the beach by the lake. Ideal destination for this type of gathering.

This home and property was spacious and met our families needs. Our focus was water activities, and this private sandy beach and dock were an excellent choice. We used the beach and yard extensively for our portable smoker; yard games; horseshoes, etc. The 3 chefs in our family appreciated the spacious kitchen and dining area; the extensive selection of pots, pans, utensils, dishes. The spacious living room was awesome for evening family games, puzzle board, etc.
Home was inviting and clean upon our arrival. Lacked a second refrigerator which would have been helpful with the volume of food our group used for the week. We improvised using 4 ice chests.
We would recommend this property for multifamily gathering!!

The house is large and well furnished. The lake is small but very private. We were usually the only ones on it.
A large proportion of the beds are located in a loft which is open to the living/family room. No privacy and you hear everything up there.
There is a garbage container in the kitchen but once full you literally have to travel a half mile to the trash and recycling bins. You are not informed of that until the day before your arrival.
The property is remote and far from any town or shopping.
The WiFi is effectively non existent.
Communications from the owner just before we arrived and while we were there dampened our enthusiasm for the property.

We had a wonderful week with family at this lovely home. It was close enough to Coeur d’Alene to enjoy the area and we had a great time on Rose Lake also.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful property for the second time as the host site for a family reunion. Kids aged 4 to 13 could catch blue gill, catfish and bass day after day. The shallow water out to the dock is a safe place for the kids to swim and enjoy the water. The lake is calm and quiet most of the time making the perfect water conditions for paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, etc.
The home is comfortable for a large group and has an open floor layout which made visiting easy while still being able to spread out.
The property is also a ~20 minute drive into Coeur d' alene which allows easy access to city activities such as dining and shopping. Silverwood is less than an hour drive which was a super fun adventure for all ages. Can't wait to book our 3rd trip!!

Annual Family Vacation
Our Family consisted of (2) Seniors, (13) Adults & (3) children. The home worked out fine for our large family, with all the Amenities, boat dock, etc. Very well kept Home and Property, with the Owner being very informative and responsive to us as Guests.

Beautiful family retreat
The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and the Rose Lake environment is fantastic. We had three families staying comfortably (10 people total, age range 2-82). We rented a few kayaks from nearby Kayak Coeur d'Alene, and they delivered them right to the dock. We spent much time in and around the water, cooking food and just doing family stuff. There's nice trail access in the neighborhood (especially good for biking). Downtown Coeur d'Alene is about 25 minute drive out, which we did once or twice. But the serenity you get on Rose Lake is unbeatable.
Only difficulty was the mosquitoes. The lodge has a high central ceiling where they congregate indoors, out of reach of swatters and sprays. No problem during the day; but if you're sleeping in the loft bedding area (one queen, one bunk, two twins), they descend on you at night and it's a bit brutal. We kept the doors and windows sealed up, but they're still in there. They also make the awesome hot tub difficult to enjoy in the early evening, though not a problem earlier in the day.
The other sleeping areas don't have the mosquito problem. So if you're 6-8 adults, everyone should have a comfy private bed without the bites.
This wouldn't keep us from coming back though. Overall a great value and a really unique location.

Great stay for a large group of people!
My friends and I hold an annual lakehouse trip and really enjoyed our time at Hartley's place. The location is really beautiful. We particularly appreciated the outdoor space which was large enough to play some games, as well as the well-stocked kitchen. The only note I have is that a lot of the bedrooms are not enclosed, since many of the beds are in the loft and 2 of the bedrooms in the basement kind of lead into one another. We didn't really need a lot of private space though, so it worked out fine for us! Overall, really loved the place and location.

As the trip planner I feel like I'm responsible for everyone's satisfaction. I was pretty worried! But this was the best place we have ever stayed times 10. The house is gorgeous and roomy. Beds comfortable, neat as a pin. The lake is sooo wonderful! We kayaked, swam and fished every day. You can catch fish right off the dock. In fact, the little blue gills nibble your toes if you just dip your feet in. We rarely saw anyone else on the lake. It felt like our private paradise. I absolutely don't understand how anyone could be disappointed in this house in any way. It made me the hero in my family and we can't wait to go back!

We had 15 inches of snowfall while we were there which made for some epic sledding right outside the cabin. 3 trips were made to nearby Silver Mountain for skiing and tubing. A nice fire in the main floor fireplace (one of 3) was very cozy on the winter evenings. The large family room with 3 couches had room for all of us while opening presents or playing charades. Hartley was very responsive to any questions I had and he even arranged a snowplow for us if needed after the big snowfall. We certainly hope to return again to our "Christmas cabin" as the kids call it.

But there are certain expectations we had from the listing description, and from our experiences at other rentals, that were not met whatsoever.⁃ It’s advertised as having 6 bedrooms. There are only two actual private bedrooms with closets. In the basement there are three “bedrooms” but it is really a closet within a room within another room. The loft area has 5 beds and no walls to make it a separate room. It overlooks the kitchen and family room, so anyone staying in those 5 beds is going to have a hard time sleeping before everyone else in the house goes to sleep or after anyone in the house wakes up.- There is no heating system, only A/C. There is a wood-burning fireplace and a few space heaters built into the walls of certain rooms. It gets COLD. And it is difficult to keep warm.- There is WiFi but it is extremely slow, so basically useless.- The TV is very outdated. No smart TV or any of those capabilities. No HDMI ports.- There is no guestbook to explain things, like how the heaters work and where they are located.- There is a washer and dryer but no detergent or dryer sheets. There also wasn’t shampoo or conditioner although they did have a few bars of soap.- We found large spiders on the beds and near them. A little pest control would go a long way.- There is a key used to enter and no key pad, so not the best security.- And lastly, the owner is terrible to work with. He was very unhelpful and even accusatory of us. If we said there were any problems he tried to make it seem as if it were our fault and not his. Extremely unprofessional and immature.So if you have a party of 20 and only 4 people want privacy then the property will work—as long as everyone is also ok sharing one old TV outside of the master bedroom, and at the same time not having internet on their phones. If that doesn’t sound like it’s worth the nightly fee to you, then I’d look elsewhere.Really wish I could leave a better review, but our experience was quite negative and we were extremely disappointed.
