Lakefront Vacation Home on Lake Elmore
Ce 5 BR 4 salles de bain au bord du lac maison de vacances sur le lac de Elmore 11 personnes confortablement. Il est idéal pour les grandes familles ou plusieurs familles. Le niveau principal dispose d'un salon; salle à manger; cuisine; blanchisserie; salle de bain complète; et une chambre avec grand lit. Le deuxième étage a un maître BR esprit suite lit king, foyer au gaz, douche et bain à remous. Ce niveau a une deuxième chambre avec un lit queen et salle de bain attenante. La cave walk-out a une salle de jeux kid-friendly avec un grand écran de télévision. Il y a deux autres chambres sur ce niveau, l'une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec un grand lit et un lit simple. Les deux chambres se partagent une salle de bain complète.

The house was nice and seeing family we great. Cool and rainy weather was somewhat discouraging. No way to control that. All in all it was a good week.
There was NO communication with property manager. How do I rate that???

We enjoyed the lake very much. We used the 2 kayaks supplied with the property and rented 2 more and some paddle boards from Up North Canoe and Kayak. Hiking in the Stowe area (30 min away) was great. The house was great and well supplied.

We enjoyed our stay at this home with a group of friends for our presidents week ski trip. The home fit three families comfortably. The view and location can’t be beat, especially from the kitchen. Even in the winter the lake is beautiful. Door to door this property is less than 40 minutes from the base of Stowe, and only a few minutes from the nearest town which made it very convenient. FYI there is absolutely no cell service, but the home does have WiFi. So if you’re looking to “unplug” and relax this is definitely the place to do it. Finally, I will say that upon check-in there were a few issues that needed to be addressed, and Betsy was extremely responsive and quick to help, which we really appreciated.

Betsy’s lake house is a wonderful place. Beautiful views, comfy beds, warm gas fireplace. Great place to stay while skiing or just to get away. (Cell service was horrible and no one complained) Everything you need to cook with in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and supplies. We caught a mild stretch and definitely needed 4WD on the road (un-paved) but it was fun! Would definitely return!

Had a great time skiing at Stowe, about a 30 minute drive. Lake was frozen, took a nice walk on it observing the ice fishing! House was excellent. Large and comfortable for our party of 9. Interesting knick knacks around, certainly conversation pieces reflecting the extraordinary lives of the owners!

Lovely property but starting to show wear. Many ceiling fans didn't work, two toilets run constantly and the flatware and cookware are in dire need of replacement. Glassware is minimal and also in need of a refresh. However the setting is lovely.

We congregated our work team for the weekend, folks brought their kids and we enjoyed time on the lake. It was a wonderful space, equipped with everything we needed!

Overall our stay was exactly what we were striving for- enjoy food, drink and relax with nothing to do. The house was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied (some pans were getting beyond its usefulness)- happy for the dishwasher- and couldn't beat the view from the kitchen windows. It was the perfect location away from the world but still so close.

We had a great time! House was large and listing was spot on. We brought a dog and we were able to walk him on the frozen lake and the road in front was also always plowed and rarely traveled by vehicles so that was a plus. I gave 5 stars for communication but I never reached out because we never needed anything. Listing was spot on, house rules were easy to follow and it had everything we needed to cook. We ski in Vermont every year with our friends. This house was great and it accommodated all of our needs. Plenty of space and bathrooms. We just loved it. Location is convenient to many mountains and breweries.

We discovered Betsys house while planning a family reunion in the area. It was exactly what we needed; a great location, large enough for all of us and set up perfectly. We loved having our coffee in the morning watching everyone ice fishing and enjoying the snow. The house had everything we could have needed and we really enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back!

Best Ski Lodge Ever
An absolute gem. We booked for a trip to Stowe, it was the best rental we've ever found. Lots of room for everyone, heated floors, a huge kitchen and dining room, room for the cars in the garage and a gorgeous view of Mt. Elmore and the frozen lake. Even when it rained at the ski resort, being here we were able to make the best of it with plenty to do at the pond.

Excellent winter property
Well appointed, stocked kitchen, warm floors - even in the lowest level, comfortable beds, great views, ample parking, lots of snow, great TV reception, big table that fits everyone for family game night and shared meals. Everyone enjoyed the property and the winter sports - snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, and micro-brewery visiting. Food was excellent at the places we visited. Hard to beat Vermont - and we live in the Adirondacks!

Loved the house more and more as we stayed
Meticulously clean and well organized! Loved the extra powerful gas fireplaces and the jacuzzi!!’ Enjoyed sledding in the backyard, making a snow ⛄️ AND Found your fire 🔥 so we toasted marshmallows for S’Mores. Definitely loved the beautiful views and walks on the lake! The two car garage was great ! Thank you so

We loved the house
What a great place to stay. The property is well-kept and clean. Almost everything we needed was available. Plenty of room for our group of seven adults.
Our only problem was absolutely no cell phone service at the house in spite of several of different providers.
We wished there had been the oars and life-jackets for the kayaks so we could have used them.

We loved our stay here! We had 7 adults and 2 kids with us. Plenty of space for everyone. Extremely clean and comfortable Everything we needed was there.The home sits right on the water with a beautiful view of Mount Elmore. Betsy was responsive and accomodating. We look forward to coming back!

Great place for large families
The house was gorgeous with ample sleeping for all. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of a missing coffee pot to go with the maker. Plenty of extra pillow and blankets as well.

Large family Home
The house is absolutely beautiful, basement had heated floors wow, pictures don't do it justice. The house was just what we were looking for, lots of bedrooms, space, and bathrooms for everyone on this February Skiing vacation. Stowe is only 17miles away but it's all scenic backroads so we did not mind the 40 minute ride every morning. The kids liked playing in the backyard after skiing on the lake, honestly couldn't ask for more. Only thing I could say to others is please remember this is someone's personal house that they live in during the summer some of their personal items are here, take care of it so they continue to rent this amazing property

Great house for a group!
We were a group of 6 friends in our mid-30s with one dog. The house was perfect for us! (And we easily could have had 4 more people.) The kitchen was very well-stocked for cooking projects - we found multiple items that we'd forgotten to bring (glad we brought a coffee grinder, though). We went for walks and skis on the quiet road, the lake, and the Catamount Trail nearby. Got some great beer from Ten Bends in Hyde Park (the Alchemist is close by in Stowe, as are Lost Nation and Rock Art in Morrisville) and some great pizza from Fire Tower Pizza at the Elmore Store (they've also got a great beer selection). We really appreciated the large bath tub, too. Wish we'd been able to stay longer and hope we can come back!

A beautiful home and beautiful overlooking the lake with a nice back lawn area
We had a great time here for a small Christmas celebration with our family. Most bedrooms have their own bathroom, and there is a beautiful fireplace on the main floor and in the master bedroom. Fit 10 of us comfortably. 10/10 would stay again.
