I love this place. Fabulous kitchen with a gas stove. Fabulous! Brian came by and checked on us. The house is warm and welcoming! We had Christmas Eve pickings and Christmas day brunch. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is it!

My husband and I came to celebrate Thanksgiving with our son. Our venue fell through and our host was so gracious and allowed our family to have dinner at the house.

The house is in a great location, easy to get ubers to Ohio State stadium and casino, owner is great at communicating and easy check in and out process! Definitely staying here again for our nxt trip to Columbus!

My cousin and I spent the weekends to see the OSU football game. We walked to the stadium and had a great place to stay. Very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed. Kroger was right up the street. Easy to get to downtown. Plenty of room in the bedrooms.

The property was well kept and clean. The beds & linens are new( ish) and obviously we'll cleaned. Toiletries are provided such as mouth wash, and makeup wipes - which my wife & daughter appreciated. There is a coffee maker, toaster, pans and things needed to cook at the home if you wish to do so. Overall it was a great stay and very comfortable. The only downside I would mention is the driveway is Slightly tight to get in an out of.... Thank you for making our weekend so comfortable ..we appreciate it.

We visited family in the area for Christmas and enjoyed staying in this home away from home. The first floor open concept allowed our small family space to relax and enjoy time spent together! We cooked a lot of our holiday food prior to traveling. The full-size refrigerator/freezer was perfect in accommodating what we brought and the stove/oven was perfect for re-warming. We also appreciated the use of a microwave, Keurig and toaster. The dining room table provided great space for family meals, assembling a 1000 pc. puzzle and playing tabletop games! We loved watching movies and football on the large screen TV while relaxing on the comfortable living room couch. The second floor bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was well supplied and has a great shower! The temperature of the house was comfortable for the month of December, but we are always sure to bring along a few throw blankets for personal preference. We did not mind the street traffic noise and found decent breaks in traffic for backing out of the driveway. The location was perfect for us and close to everything we were interested in! We appreciated the level of communication we had with the property owner, who is very attentive and helpful! We would definitely stay again and recommend.

This is our second year at Brian's property and we love it here! The location is a short distance from the freeway and convenient to everything in Columbus. The couple of issues we had were quickly addressed by Brian. We are looking forward to our visit next year.

It was great to have a space where all family members could gather for parent's weekend. Very clean, comfortable and decorated nicely!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to see a concert which was about 10 minutes away. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the large granite island to share a few glasses of wine with our friends. No complaints.

Nice place and comfy for 4. Close enough to all OSU activities. Close to Great walking trail. A tad noisy due to busy street but great beds make up for that!

This house is a great location for necessities and attractions. It is also a stylish property with a kind host. There were many nice touches in the home (white noise makers, well supplied kitchen, etc.) and overall it was a well thought out investment property.

What a beautiful property! Everything inside was so tastefully done. Loved the open space concept and the decor made for a calming environment. New, new, new! From the bedding to the furniture to the kitchenware. Very close to everything! We came to Columbus to be with our son and his wife and support him in The Arnold 21 Deadlift Salute and HE WON! THANKS TO HIS WONDERFUL STAY AT HOUSE 242!

We rented this property for about 2 weeks at the beginning of an extended stay in Columbus. The owner, Brian, was great to work with and very attentive to all of our questions and needs. The property seemed to be about 15 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go in the Columbus area. We had easy access to the interstate and High Street, which runs through The Ohio State University and the heart of downtown Columbus. The beds were comfortable and the water got hot in a hurry. The house is located near several parks and beautiful neighborhoods, which was great for our daily walks. Next time we come we'll bring our bicycles to get even more ingrained in the active surrounding community. If in the Columbus area in the future, we'd stay here again. Thanks again to Brian for his personal efforts to welcome us to Columbus.

My sister and I rented this beautiful duplex fir several weeks while she was preparing for a move. The space was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and clean. All the amenities were perfect for a long stay. Great TVs, wonderful towels and super comfortable beds. Brian is a fantastic, welcoming host, who is always available for questions and requests. He even shoveled our sidewalk and driveways when it snowed. 😊 The neighborhood is convenient, safe and fun. Highly recommend!

A two bedroom house, very clean and modern appliances, remodel, etc. vs. staying in a hotel for more $... no-brainer.

Very nice property- felt like home. Had all the essentials for a nice stay. We walked the surrounding neighborhood and found it quaint and a wonderful experience.

We stayed at this property for six nights while visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was cozy and comfortable and perfect for us. Will definitely stay here again.

The space was adequate for the four of us, but there really isn't room for anymore adults. The only drawback is that there is only one bathroom and it's on the second floor, but we managed. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water!! Beautiful updated kitchen and big dinning table area. Would stay here again!

This rental was exactly what I needed for a 5 day stay to visit friends in Columbus. The beds were comfortable (like Goldilocks, I tried both), the whole place was clean and had most every thing I needed, parking was convenient, the kitchen was great my chef friend who fixed several gourmet meals....and while the yard is shared, it was a wonderful surprise to have a decent outdoor space. I cleared it with the property manager before using, but there is a nice back yard! Brian was easy to reach and responsive to questions and requests! I would absolutely rent again!

The house was very clean and decorated nicely. My only concern was it sits on a busy street so traffic while sleeping was a little noisy.

My son and I just visited Columbus. We wanted to check out the OSU campus for college. Brian’s place was Perfect. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. The place was extremely clean, plenty of room and close to Everything!

We have a small child, and we did not feel safe in the location. I would not recommend for families with small children.

We were in town for an event at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and the house was just perfect on all fronts. The house is exactly as the listing indicates - very clean and all the amenities of "home". The location is ideal - about 10 minute ride to downtown Columbus. Supermarket one block away and numerous restaurants up and down North High Street. Will definitely look to stay again next time we are in Columbus. Thanks Brian!

Stayed at this property for a short weekend getaway to attend the Buckeye Country Super Fest. The place was absolutely spotless - kudos to the cleaning team!! No complaints at all about staying here - everything was as shown on the listing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom shower was great. Again, spotless in the bathroom!! Even though the house is close to a busy street, the noise from any traffic was minimal and did not disturb us. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. The location is close to a walking trail along the river that winds its way all the way down to the OSU campus - great place to go for a walk, run, or bike. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay somewhere close to OSU for any events without being right in the middle of all the action and traffic at the campus. If I ever have a need to visit Columbus again, I would definitely stay here. The owner was great to work with both before and during our stay - very responsive to any contact with questions.
