Dans le pittoresque village de pêcheurs de Jonesport America, se trouve l'une des seules plages de sable blanc du Downeast Maine, Sandy River Beach.
Du chalet Maine Rose, vous pouvez assister aux plus beaux levers de soleil sur l'un des points les plus orientaux des États-Unis; vous pouvez écouter le cri de la mouette et le cri de rire sur la plage. Le Maine Rose Cottage est une escapade en bord de mer de 2 chambres et 3/4 salles de bain, pour une escapade romantique ou une famille tranquille qui cherche la commodité d'être sur une plage de sable blanc rare et privée. Apportez vos kayaks et chaussures de randonnée pour vos aventures en plein air dans la nature. Ce n'est pas une maison de fête, mais plutôt un chalet pittoresque avec des attentes pittoresques.
Les équipements comprennent une cuisinière / four à gaz et un four, un réfrigérateur, un four micro-ondes, un grille-pain, une cafetière et des ventilateurs. La chambre principale a un lit queen size Select Number. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen size. Il y a aussi un matelas double gonflable. Dish TV et Wi-fi.
Mieux encore, il y a des chaises berçantes à lire pendant que vous regardez les vagues et les oiseaux. Il y a une petite terrasse extérieure avec une chaise Adirondack pour votre café du matin. Grill extérieur et pot de homard / palourdes. Table de pique-nique.

This was our 7th stay at the Maine Rose and Mark and Dawn were wonderful hosts as always. We enjoyed our week and hope to be back next year.

Mark and Dawne are amazing hosts who truly think of everything. The location is perfect for couples and those with small children. Lots of room to run out their sillies on the beach, what feels like miles of low tide to explore. This was our 6th stay - we’ll absolutely be back. Thank you for another great visit!

Staying here was everything we had hoped for. We were 4 adults (seniors) and couldn’t have been more comfortable! The views were stunning, toes in the sand on beach 10 seconds from the deck! We absolutely will come again!

Lovely cottage, everything you need is there. We bought lobsters directly from the wharf, pizza was a quick drive, grocery store close by! And the BEACH is awesome! The owners have done a fantastic job keeping these cabins looking good.

Mark and Dawn’s cottage - Maine Rose - is a sweet, comfy, perfectly located cottage. The views from the cottage are amazing and the beach is steps away. Mark and Dawn are terrific hosts. Very responsive and welcoming. Hope we are able to come back soon and spend another weekend at the Maine Rose!

The location is scenic and serene but also close enough for daily adventures. The cottage is lovely and well maintained. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I just can’t say enough nice things about this property and the location! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the beach, breathtaking! My family has been in this area for over 200 years and although I live in Kansas City now, this will always be home to me. If you’re looking for a place to unplug and relax, this is it! There’s a reason my grandmother called it “God’s Country”. My husband and I would definitely stay at the Maine Rose again. Daily walks on the beach, trails nearby, good food. What more can you ask for?

Was looking for a homebase between Acadia National Park and the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse. This fit the bill and then some! The view was beautiful, the place cozy and Dawn & Mark excellent hosts. They anticipated needs, communicated well and were just the sweetest! Definitely a recommendation for friends!

Dawn and Mark were so nice and provided us everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the Maine Rose. It was my mom’s first visit to downeast Maine and it was a memorable one. We can’t thank Dawn and Mark enough.

Perfect get-away!
This was our 4th stay with Mark & Dawn, first with a new baby and his toddler big sister, and we will absolutely be returning. Perfect location for relaxing and spending beach cottage time with family, or heading out to Roque Island, Machias, Acadia, Jasper Beach,l and other adventures. Thank you so much for another perfect vacation!

The property was as lovely as the hosts were gracious. We had a very pleasant time in this cottage on a stretch of sandy beach looking out at the islands and the bay. We got up every morning to drink our coffee and sit in rocking chairs to watch the sun rise over the water. What a treat for us! Twice each day the tide went out allowing us to walk out to one of the islands and explore what the tide had left behind. The cottage contained everything a family would need to live comfortably. It is furnished with beautiful antiques and decorated with great care. It was beautiful and cozy and exactly like the pictures on the website. I could have spent the summer right there in the cottage and been very happy. We visited Rogue Bluffs Park in Machias and ate our dinner in Machias most nights but that was through choice. It would have been easy to prepare all of our meals in the cottage with its well-supplied kitchen. We visited Eastport and the West Quoddy Lighthouse Park and walked the trails. Otherwise we stayed at the cottage. This was easily the most peaceful vacation we have ever had. Thank you, Mark and Dawn, for sharing this oasis with us. We have used VRBO a number of times to find vacation homes in Europe and now America but this quaint little cottage stands out as my favorite. I hope we are able to return again and again. Dawn and Mark were wonderful to rent from. The property was spotless and they had thought of everything, from a fully appointed kitchen (not a utensil, pot, pan or lobster cracker missing - we had everything we needed), to a foot wash for the kids to clean sand off from the beach and a laundry line for their sandy clothes, we had everything we could ask for in a relaxing family getaway. The beds were super comfortable and the view was spectacular. We even had some properly huge LLBean coffee mugs from which to caffeinate as we started our mornings looking out over the sea. It was a truly special vacation. Highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maine Rose beach cottage. Dawn and Mark are thoughtful hosts, welcoming and respectful of our privacy. The cottage is is immaculate, the beach fabulous and thee September weather was delightful. Highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing vacation.
