Close to the trail and clean. Room for bikes.

It was good other than having to go in through the garage. Going in after dark was kind of scary.

The stay was to visit a Bro. who is battling cancer and only has a very short time left, we felt we needed to go up from Utah to say our goodbyes while he still knew us. We spent the late evening and early mornings at the home but it was a wonderful place for us to all be together and reminisce about life and love and how we were all going to get through this, we will definitely be bak

We loved the home. It is a charming older home with so much character. Made me want to move to Kellog. Plenty of space for our party. I only wish we had more vacation time. Communication was a breeze, and we had no issues during our stay.

The home was well appointed and had all the necessary kitchen items - roomy and AC for all rooms was great. Thanks for such a nice stay. Cheers, Kraig

The 4 of us came to Kellogg to ride both the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and the Trail of the Hiawatha. The house was the perfect location to ride both trails - 2 days directly from the house and the other 3 days driving to the trailheads. The garage worked wonderfully for the 8 bikes we brought with us, as did the king/full bath on the main floor and the upstairs.

Although we enjoyed our stay, there were some 'issues' that detracted from fully enjoying our experience. As a person who also owns a vacation rental, we only mention these because attention to these kinds of details really matter: cleanliness and availability of amenities - especially if listed. I pay housecleaning to thoroughly clean out my rental/refrigerators after all rentals so they are spotless....and VRBO collects a cleaning fee from all renters, so most folks expect a certain level of cleanliness.
First, the Pros:
- Lots of linens- well stocked!
- Location very convenient
- Spacious!
- Loved the ambience
- Beds were comfortable
- Fenced yard for munchkins was great.
- Owner responded with replacing dead batteries and answered messages within 24 hours.
The cons:
-Most corners and underneath general furniture and fixtures had accumulations of dust, debris and cobwebs which indicated the house wasn't thoroughly cleaned which is an issue with 2 toddlers. Since I often camp outside- this doesn't bother me as much as it might others (like my adult daughter w/the little ones).
- Amenities lists shampoo- there wasn't any
- ALL the batteries in all the remotes in the living room were dead- we replaced them when the owner brought us batteries so this one should be 'fixed' for other renters.
-Foosball was listed in the amenities- wasn't there/don't have. Owner said they will update their listing
- Coffee Grinder was listed so we bought coffee beans- but turned out th

House is big and has some history to it. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of room for the kids to play and the yard is nice.
Fridge was not cleaned and unfortunately we did not store anything in it. Air hockey table did not work as well.

This is a fun old house with a lot of charm. We had plenty of room for the 7 adults in our group. We appreciated the garage for bike storage. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Place was spacious, close to the resort and restaurants... owners were easily accessible, overall great place and value

Large and pleasantly decorated two story home. Fully furnished served our needs very well. Short drives to local ski resorts. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at this property. It is updated and has everything to make large meals for our family. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and we had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time with friends. We were close to the resort and waterpark with a drive of about 3 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Mountain Property with plenty of room, close to Silver Mt, bike trails, CDA
This was a great property, lots of space, a garage to store bikes, that had a ping pong table and washer and dryer. Great neighborhood, nice large yard, close to all the things we wanted.
When entering the property, you go through the garage, which is under the house, and has fairly steep steps up, and does not have a railing on the open side of stairs. Normally, no big deal, we brought grandma and grandpa with us, so after the first time, we learned to have someone go open the front door to let them in- just a heads up about that.
Also, the BATHROOMS DO NOT LOCK!! This might be an issue depending on who you are travelling with. I have several children, and we just got door stoppers at w-mart in Smelterville to put under the door from the inside when someone was in there. But it is a lovely, charming home, with so many original features, and a great (modern) kitchen. We had a great time here, and would be happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this 1910 historic home. Lots of room for the 5 of us. Enjoyed the big dining room table to play games on in the evening. Only complaint is that there were several lights that weren’t working and a number of light bulbs that needed to be replaced. Other than that, we really enjoyed this spacious home. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay. Location was great, nice layout for our needs. Only problem was the dishwasher was broken, fridge and freezer not well cleaned and the ice machine broke while we were here.

Fun old house
Staying in this old craftsman style house was the perfect place for a one-night layover as we were passing through Idaho. It has just the right amount of old and new. My son is hoping we can come back and stay for a week this winter - he loves all of the old charm this house has to offer!

Inaccurate description of house
There was only AC in the bedrooms and we were told that there was AC in all the rooms of the house. We were also told that the kitchen was stocked with all necessary items that a normal kitchen would have. There was no oil, salt or pepper and I had to purchase those “essential” items. I also had to purchase a sponge for general cleaning of the kitchen. The cleaning people do not clean well and the very dirty dust mops were left in the pantry and under the sink.

The double bed was not comfortable with two people as it shakes and creaks at the smallest movement. The home was clean on the surface but it was disturbing to lay down and be surrounded in cobwebs. Upon arrival the codes to get in that were emailed were wrong. The owner was able to help us promptly. The home is built in 1910 and while the woodwork and design are beautiful, beware the doors do not lock or close well.

Great place to stay! Went biking in Pinehurst one day and hiked into Wallace the next. We hiked into the Pulaski Tunnel, lots of information there on Edward Pulaski & the 1910 fire. Great trip and will go back again :)

Great location, historic huge home with plenty of room. Nice neighborhood. Served us well for our biking trip. Rode the Hiawatha trail and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. It was fun to explore the area and little towns.

Charming, spacious home. Close to bike trail
After a day of biking it was wonderful to come back to this charming home. It had a great place to store bikes, close to bike trail, a fantastic shower, great beds and well supplied kitchen.

Charming older home in Kellogg
This is a charming older home in Kellogg. We stayed to bike the Hiawatha trail. The updated kitchen was well done, and did not distract from the older original woodword, and charm of the home. The dining, kitchen, and living areas was very large and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate for one minute to go back to this charming home.

Beautiful old house, appreciate updates
House in great condition despite age. Kitchen is modern. Knives were sharp which is a rarity for any vrbo! Kids loved video games and ping pong. Comfy beds.

Family vacay in Idaho
Loved staying in this well-kept older home. Very charming and conveniently located so that we could do day trips to activities in the surrounding area including a few in Montana. We had two teenage girls with us and we were able to spread out and have our space with plenty of bedrooms and comfy beds. Kitchen was also very well stocked with dishes.

Good place to stay
I really enjoyed the home. My family had a good time together. Trail of the Coeur d'alenes is very close. The local bike shop is friendly and offers great advice. Thanks for providing shampoo bottles.
