Beautiful cottage right in the city centre but just away in a little mews so is very quiet. Close to all amenities, pubs, restaurants and the river. All shops on the doorstep. Would definitely book here again.

There was very little to dislike. Prime location in the town, easy access (No stairs / plenty of moving space). All essentials were available and ready to use. The place retained the warmth very well! I can't pick fault!

There's nothing we didn't like as such. We found the sofa and bed slightly uncomfortable... but by all means both were fit for purpose. We are just both people with several old reoccurring injuries, so for the best part, like things a little softer. This in no way detracts from our stay... and would come back 100 times given a chance.

no parking nearby more colour in the property would really cheer it up could have a tendency to be really chilly, but good heaters though

Parking is a 5 minute walk away but wasn't much of an issue as the town is more suited to walking.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need for your stay, location couldn't be better for all amenities.

Loves staying here. So close to the center and cosy to be in. Host were contactable and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend!!

The location was great, very central, quiet at night and only a 10-15 minute walk from Newark Northgate Rail Station. The place was cosy and clean and had the necessary facilities. The kitchen had some kitchenware and crockery to use.

Breakfast not provided. Location was excellent for our needs very close to supermarket, bars & restaurants and it was nice and quiet.

Uncomfortable bed. Shower head loose so would not stay in position and noisy extractor fan in shower room went on for ages.

Very good location for town centre. A supermarket 200yds away, down a quiet alleyway, a very useable kitchen area. very efficient and helpful owner.

The bathroom is pretty small but useable, not possible to open the windows at front, the windows in the bedroom are at a considerable height and set back with a deep window sill, so only accessible to fit healthy people. This was a worry in the event of a fire. The lights in the hallway and bathroom are on very sensitive motion switches which I personally found quite annoying.
