Mount Magazine View Cottage \/ Cabin - Une grande évasion en Arkansas
A propos de ce cottagerental
REGARDE!!

Nice, clean, quiet place to stay only 36 minutes from the top of the mountain. There is cell phone service at the cabin incase anyone is wondering. The cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. Great veiw!

We very much enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the scenery and the horses. At night we saw beautiful moon and the next day we got treated to a rainbow. Peaceful, quiet, secluded and, reasonably priced, we enjoyed it greatly!
Please note that it’s about 30-40 min drive one way to get to Mt magazine state park from there.

Just an extremely relaxing and beautiful country stay.

It was quaint and peaceful. We enjoyed the swing on the front porch in the evenings. The one suggestion I would make is putting a bigger sign with the address on it. We went past it and had to finally call to see where it was. Other than that it was wonderful!

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Magazine from the porch while sipping coffee in the morning and having relaxing time by the fire in the evening. The communication with the owner was impeccable. She was very prompt with responses to our messages and needs. We had a batch of delicious complimentary cinnamon rolls ready for us on arrival. She even graciously mailed the shirts back to us that my husband forgot at the cabin!

Just the right place and distance from family in Magazine. We were able to enjoy our granddaughters high school graduation and lodge 15 minutes away from town. This had everything we needed. Thank you

It is a cabin in rural Arkansa so it is not the Ritz-Carlton but the accommodations were beyond what was stated. We would definitely stay here again.

This turned out to be a great destination for us to get away and reconnect for a few days. The view of Mount Magazine is especially beautiful. We had some bad weather, but the cottage endured it well. One thing that should be noted: The lead photo of this listing displays an *old* TV; I'm glad to note it's been updated to a flat-screen -- not a large one but adequate for the living room. There's obviously a lot of attention to detail. Just about anything we needed could be found with a little patience looking around.

Absolutely beautiful views! We loved being able to see the mountains from the front porch and watching the stars from the yard. The cabin was clean and felt bigger than it looked in the photos. The bed was a bit firmer than we are used to, but there were lots of quilts and pillows to make the place comfy. It’s off of a quiet gravel road, which was a nice place to go for a walk. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great communication. Property is serene.

This cabin is a time capsule when I grew up and spent my summers in our cabin on a lake. This cabin bucks up against a horse farm and the horses and donkey greet you upon arrival. Very clean, nostalgic, all amenities you could want. I made several dinners here during our stay because we wanted to stay in. I recommend.

We had a wonderful time here for New Year’s 2023 at this cabin. It was peaceful, serene, quiet, and private…just what we were hoping for. The horses and donkey in the nearby pasture were loads of fun to watch. Donkey is such a sweetheart! Cattle off to the west also fun to watch. Our dogs were welcomed by our host and they enjoyed being here instead of in the city with fireworks at midnight. Thank you for allowing us and our furry kids to stay at this wonderful place! I saw the sunrise from behind Mt Magazine both mornings! And the sunsets are beautiful too!

Used the cabin as a home base to visit extended family in the area. Pleasantly surprised to arrive at a nice warm place to stay when it was 5* out. The kids loved staying here and have asked to stay again! We were well taken care of!

A peaceful slice of tranquility. The view is awesome and we enjoyed watching the cows from the porch glider swing.
Oh I should not forget to mention the spectacular homemade cinnamon rolls left for us!! Yum!!

The neighborhood is run-down and unsafe. The road is treacherous. My mother and I wouldn't stay. There was no cell service. The property was badly marked and looked like a shack about to fall down. We had to try and find accommodations at Fort Smith. We reserved for 2 nights. I asked for a refund for one of those nights. I have never heard back.

Over all accommodations were as expected. The lack of Wi-Fi complicated things but managed through it.

Everything was so easy. The property was everything advertised and so much more.
Walene was so helpful and sweet. The cabin and the location couldn’t have been better. So beautiful, so relaxing. We didn’t want to leave.

This place was as described. It was in a private area with a spectacular view of Mount Magazine and beautiful rolling hills of pasture land. We spent lots of time sitting on the front porch in the evenings after exploring during the day. You will have to drive some on a gravel road. The owner provided the best cinnamon rolls and was very responsive to any questions we had.

The cabin was just what we needed for a weekend of hiking in Mount Magazine Park. The bed was comfortable and it was very dark and quiet at night. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Nice front porch for drinking our coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect if you want a peaceful setting.
If you are tired of crowded cabin retreats, then this is for you.! This cabin is isolated on a beautiful piece of property with a big front porch view of Mt Magazine. The cabin was clean, had comfortable furniture and a very well stocked kitchen. We had a gorgeous drive up to Mt Magazine, did some hiking., fairly easy. Next day, drove to Paris and Altus to check out some amazing old churches and wineries. Only down side is no WiFi and you have to do some housekeeping at the end. Otherwise, host is very receptive, kind and answers inquiries quickly.
