Very coastal Maine and beautiful. I like the lawn leading down to the Mill Pond.

Loved the proximity to Boothbay Harbor, Midcoast Maine, & points south. Mostly loved returning to this idyllic setting on Mill Pond after a day of exploring. A glass of wine surrounded by nature's tranquility was good for the soul. My only suggestion: It would be nice if some basic pantry items were provided, like salt & pepper, a few condiments, butter, etc. But we very much enjoyed our stay and have already recommended the cottage to friends.

Wonderful time!

This was a beautiful place! We rented this location thinking it would be a great central hime base for places we wanted to go (and it was). We spent much more time at the property than we had planned because it was so peaceful and so much ch fun to watch the birds and other wildlife ( huge, fat porcupine!) around the mill pond. The cottage itself was sparkling clean and comfortable. We have food allergies so it was nice to be able to cook simple meals in the kitchen. (We also had an excellent dinner down there road at The Carriage House where they took our allergies seriously. ) There was a miscommunication about check in and out times but Sally and Lindsay from the property management company were fantastic to work with and everything turned out okay. 9 am is an early check out time! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Exactly as advertised. Very nice view to Mill Pond. Close access to Boothbay Harbor and Ocean Point. Quiet, clean, relaxing place to stay to enjoy all the delights of mid coast Maine.

My family and I loved everything about our stay at this cottage on Mill Pond! This was our first time in Maine and we’re already talking about coming back next year. We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee by the pond and on the swing. It’s a short walk to the quaint General Store down the street and a short drive to the adorable Boothbay Harbor town. There is so much to do in the area but it’s also nice to come back and relax by the water or have a fire with s’mores! Thank you, Tom and Celeste, for a relaxing and fun getaway for my husband, son and me! We’ll be back!! :)

Great little cottage on a salt water pond. Close to Boothbay Harbor. Wonderful view out over the pond.

The property is a solid, dependable, clean place to stay, with a nice bedroom, bathroom, small kitchen. The large shady yard is exceptional, leading down to the water. The small village is very quaint. Walking west on Murray Hill road is a great walk with a couple public boat landings and lovely houses, well kept, with many flowers. The little general store is a one minute walk. When they are open, they have great bakery and coffee and other goods. The owners were very friendly and communicative, easy to get a hold of when we had a minor issue.

I was pleased with the property and its location.

Had a great time exploring the mid coast. So much to see and do. Looking forward to returning next year.

This location was the BEST. It was oyr home base as we did trips from there. The cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds were picturesque! Tom was very accomodating. We highly rrcommend this property.

This cottage was so cute and clean. Located in a quiet area with a general store up the street(walking distance). The owner was very kind and helpful with questions. The kitchen allows you to cook in if you want with French Doors that lead out to the back yard. Highly recommend staying here!

Tom and Celeste's cottage is a comfortable home on beautiful grounds. We immediately felt welcome and at home. Their street is quiet, away from the crowds, but close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the cottage and relaxing out by the pond. Tom and Celeste promptly answered our questions and provided us with guide books and brochures.

This little cottage was perfect for our stay-- comfortable, welcoming, perfectly appointed. And the owners were friendly and wonderful!

It has become a family tradition to spend a week in Maine at this lovely cottage. Celeste and Tom are gracious hosts and the setting, location and amenities are beautifull. We can’t wait for next year!

The cottage was clean and well appointed with anything you would need! The host were gracious and offered suggestions on places to visit. We will stay there on our next visit and highly recommend it to family and friends visiting this area. Lovely place!

Myself and my small family (husband and 8 year old daughter), had a wonderful week at this sweet little cottage the first week of August. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and gave us great recommendations for activities in the area. The cottage was clean and cozy and it had everything we needed. We loved the access to the tidal pond, the fire pit and the big quiet and peaceful yard leading down to the pond, but we also appreciated how close to everything it was! Boothbay Harbor is so beautiful and we loved our week at this property! Thank you Tom and Celeste for sharing your little slice of heaven!

The cottage is located somewhat “off the beaten track.” A great back yard on Mill Pond with Linekin Bay just down the road. Also a good location for exploring the Midcoast area.

Delightful for a short stay

All arrangements went smoothly with good communication. It was wonderful to come back to the property after a busy day to relax and enjoy the beauty.

Nice sized place, comfortable bed, enjoyed making a bonfire and grilling out while looking out onto the pond. There is a really great old general store a 2 minute walk away to get coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, etc. I recommend!

Five starts across the board. Great hosts and a well-kept and beautiful spot. Small, but perfect for a writing retreat - just what I needed. Unparalleled access to multiple options for paddling/boating/kayaking

This cottage and property in East Boothbay was even better than what we hoped for, and a case of the online photos not doing it justice. It was perfect for us (myself and my college age daughter), as a base for exploring all the areas in this part of Maine, as well as being the perfect space and property to relax in and soak up all the fresh air and gorgeous views. Tom and Celeste are wonderful, giving their renters as much space and privacy as you want, while also being so friendly and helpful with their suggestions on where to go, what to see and what restaurants are worth visiting. Their love for their vacation home, the rental and their property is obvious. The cottage was so clean, had everything we needed, and was decorated simply with neutral colors and no clutter. The yard is even bigger than what it looks like in the photos, and has lovely views of the large pond and surrounding area. It's a beautiful and peaceful space. It was very hard to leave and head home after our week here.

We had such a great stay and will be coming back. The room is small but perfect. The way they have everything set up worked well for our family. The backyard is huge and we spent so much time in it and by the fire pit. The owners are amazing they gave us great ideas for things to do. We had such an amazing time and can’t wait to return.

Great proximity to the sites we wanted to go to. Wonderful hosts who were there while we were; up from Louisiana. My husband and I stayed there for one week in September 2020; the year of covid. Great property amenities on the water in East Boothbay; a short driving distance from downtown Boothbay. Thank you Tom and Celeste!

Our third year in a row at this property does not disappoint! Beautiful and clean and well-appointed as always, with such kind hosts who want things to be as comfortable and easy as possible. Truly idyllic setting and my young daughters and I plan to keep up our Murray Hill Road tradition next year and beyond!

Renting this property was great! The hosts had all the amenities ready for you and waking up to the lake every morning was amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to getaway and stay COVID safe

Could not have asked for more. We found the house clean and tidy. The grounds were very well kept and the view of the waterfront was beautiful. Have already recommended this place to relatives.

I had a great two weeks relaxing next to Mill Pond.: Swimming in the cold, yet refreshing water, reading on the hammock, and hiking nearby. Mid coast Maine feels like home and this property is a great place to explore from. Highly recommend!

Very clean cottage. More than enough for a couple. We loved the big yard with the hammock, fire pit, and the tidal pond. Location is perfect - Boothbay Harbor is less than 10 mins away and it’s a great jumping-off point for the Boothbay Region in general. Only downside was no AC - there were some hot nights where having the windows open didn’t help and the fan could barely keep up.

Quiet, relaxing and scenic location made for a great place to get away for my first few days in Maine. Thank you!
