This was our family’s third time staying here and, as usual, did not disappoint. Everything was excellent - very clean property, lots to do, and beautiful home! We hope to be back next year!

Amazing place in a great location. Loved the lake, the fire outside, nearby Bemus Point, and the Midway Park. We also went to Niagra Falls! House was nice, roomy, and clean!

The house was clean with plenty of comfortable sleeping space for our group of 12. The weather was rainy and cold, but we found plenty else to do at the house...lots of board games and space underneath the awning out back was protected from the rain. We visited nearby Long Point State Park and the weather didn't stop us from slaying fish on Lake Chatauqua! What a beautiful place, and the fish are plentiful! We caught mostly rock bass, perch, and bluegill. There's a nice fish cleaning station outside, which came in very useful. The kids made use of the canoe, the kayaks, and the corn hole boards, when we had breaks in the rain. The owners could not have been more responsive and helpful. Owner Dave stopped over when we first arrived and the day before we left. It was very nice getting to meet him. The only negative was the noise from the nearby highway. Highly recommend!

just returned from a wonderful week at the Jetts beautiful lake cottage !! There were 10 of us plenty of room for all . Kids enjoyed the bikes, kyacks, and canoe. We all enjoyed playing corn hole and sitting by the fire eating smores. We also rented the boat for the week , very nice boat , although we only got to enjoy it for couple hours due to the unexpected chilly weather and smoke from the canadian fires. The cottage was more than expected, very clean ,well organized. The Jetts were very easy to work with. Our over all experience with this rental was exceptional . would rent this again in a heartbeat !!!

This would be our 3rd year at this house. The house is very, very clean. Beds comfortable. Great location on the lake. We go for fishing trip each year and its perfect. The owner always very nice and accommodating.

This house was spotless, comfortable, a great location close to downtown Bemus Point with nice neighborhoods to walk in and enjoy the fall weather. It was a beautiful location right on the lake. Although we did not use the pontoon boat or kayaks we loved the patio, yard and fire pit and just sitting looking at the water. The sunporch was my favorite. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was like any house the hub of activity. There was plenty of counter space. All the essentials were there cups, coffee pot, toaster, plates, etc. plus pitchers and platters. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This is one of those great houses that from the outside you think it isn't much.. Once inside you feel the old charm of the house and the lake. Great views of the lake and dock. Having a little fire at night and enjoying the lake was great.. But with everything there is one down side. The freeway bridge is right next to where the property is... With that being said you will hear some highway noises but nothing that I would say is obnoxious. Overall we will be back to vacation at this property!!

Perfect private family time and enjoyed all Bemus Point has to offer!

This property is well-maintained, and you can tell the owners really care about the place. Spic & Span clean! The floors are all wood and they shined. Bedrooms are small, but adequate. It was nice to have the landing with the extra bunk beds. The bathroom upstairs is great! The antique amenities add a real quaintness to the place. It is easy to walk or bike to Bemus Point from there. We used the bikes, the canoe, the kayaks and we rented the pontoon boat the whole time. All were great for our family. The two outdoor picnic tables are painted nicely, do not need tablecloths...and the extra table near the grill is handy. Our guys used the fish sink on the side of the house. Ad we played Corn Toss and badminton in the very large yard, while having fires in the firepit several nights. There were amazingly no mosquitos our whole trip! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. We cooked every meal so maybe a few more "leftover containers" would be nice. Bring your own towels (bath & beach), shampoo and bar soap. There is starter TP, and paper towels. We brought a large cook-pot which I was glad we did. There's plenty of silverware & dishes, glasses & coffee cups. The oven was gas & antique and worked very well actually. The enclosed porch a lovely place for many to sit, air conditioned with nice fans. All in all I cannot think of a downside to this place, except of course the Bridge is nearby and there are a lot of "traffic" sounds from it. But it didn't hamper our vacation in the least! (At night it sounds like waves on a beach, lol) If you want one suggestion it would be to put in a clothesline for our towels & suits to dry on, and add more hooks to the bathroom walls for towels, etc. Minor things! We loved it there and treasured our time on Lake Chautauqua. (If you're a pickleball person, you can walk to the courts on Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat by 9am)

This home was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The pictures were exactly as what you see in the listing but the rooms actually felt larger. The upstairs bedrooms were great sizes and all beds were very comfortable. I like to watch TV before bed and even the pull out couch was comfortable (which is not always the case.) The upstairs bathroom is huge and the downstairs bathroom and shower was also roomy. Loved all the antiques (yet modern) and interesting decor. I have never seen a rental with so many board games and books, etc. Really gives you the feel of years ago, so tell the kids to put away their cell phones and play games with family/friends! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and glassware and the dishwasher is a great size for large groups. The outdoor covered patio is great and has plenty of room for 12 to eat at the picnic tables. The grill was also top notch. We rented the boat, which was fantastic. The yard is flat so we played bocci, corn-hole and jarts. The 5 bikes were an added bonus. Our 13 years olds had a blast riding them to Bemus Point and it was a quiet and safe neighborhood. Plus there was 2 kayaks and 1 canoe that the kids enjoyed. Even though the bridge was right there, we did not mind it a bit. Nights were great with the fire pit and all the amazing Adirondack chairs around it!The town of Bemus Point was very charming. Hosts are wonderful and attentive to anything you need. Thanks Dave and Candy for a wonderful week!!!!

The cottage was absolutely spotless and comfortable for our group of 12. The grandchildren had a very nice yard to play in, and we enjoyed a few campfires in the evenings. Also a short distance to the center of Bemus point, where we enjoyed our ice cream, and our walks through town!

The home was perfect for my family. Great location for walking into Bemus Point. We enjoyed campfires in the evenings and the lake during the day. Having the pontoon boat available at a very reasonable price was a great benefit. Will definitely return when we come back to Chautauqua.

Such a beautiful, well-maintained house and property. Very clean, relaxing interior and exterior. Interesting and tastefully decorated. Whole family enjoyed the fishing, from our boat, and from the dock. Kids swam in the lake near shore. We made use of the canoe, 2 kayaks, corn-hole, and croquet. Lovely fire pit and outdoor seating and eating area. Also, location was a great area to walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hoping to return!

This is our 2nd year staying at this house. Always very, very clean. Plenty of space. The back yard and porch is perfect. Has fire pit and the owner even provides fire wood. This is a big lake, the house is located model of south and north lake. . Easy to dock boat. Green Door has great wings. Bemus is a cute little town.

We had the best time

We stayed at Candy and Dave's place in early October to celebrate a birthday with friends. We loved the proximity to downtown Bemus Point and only being a short drive to Southern Tier and Findley Lake. Having 10 adults, we loved being able to all fit at the dining table. The living space was perfect. We had a great stay.

We loved this place and definitely will come back. Kitchen had all we needed, AC worked great, plenty of room for hanging out together, backyard was huge and the boat, kayaks and bikes were an amazing addition. The owner was very friendly and helpful! Location was great as well, close drive or 15min walk to all the shops and restaurants! We loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The lake is beautiful and being able to walk to everything was great!

This property was perfect for our family reunion. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There was a lot of rain during our stay, so the enclosed porch and patio with picnic tables and grill under cover of an awning served us well. We also rented the owner’s pontoon boat for fishing or cruising when the rains let up. The owners were helpful and responsive; they take obvious pride in their property. It was a pleasure spending our week here.

The property is great. The house is very roomy and comfortable - sizable rooms, comfortable seating, excellent beds (I cherish a good bed), great porch and every fun thing imaginable. Property owners Candy and Dave were great to work with. They answered all the questions I asked and prepared us well for our trip. The location is super - right on the lake and only a couple of blocks from the boat launch (we brought a couple of boats). They have a huge lot with plenty of space for outdoor activities and off-street parking. We thoroughly enjoyed this home and highly recommend it. I certainly plan on returning.

My friends ands I went for a little weekend getaway and had an incredible time!! There is a large kitchen table for gathering that made it perfect for dinner and table games. We loved the outdoor amenities and made a clambake and utilized both the grill and fire pit ! The downtown area is adorable but we spent our Saturday going on a wine tour to some chatacqua wineries only about 20 mins away! Had a great time.

This house was the perfect place for 8 adults to hang out for the weekend. Charming with all sorts of interesting quirky decorating details while offering lots of comfortable areas for our group to gather, eat, relax, and enjoy the view of the water. We loved it!

We had a great time at the house. We were a group of 8. Lots of space inside and out to play cards and games together. Used bikes and corn hole game they provided. Suggestion to post instructions on how to operate stove. Also bridge being so close was a little loud..

We had a great little getaway at this property. Dave and Candy were outstanding. Their communication regarding the details of the property and our stay were very excellent. The place was in beautiful condition. We really enjoyed being on the lake and close to the cute town. There were many restaurant options and cafes. We enjoyed the firepit and making smores at night.

Unique fixtures and decor , a great porch , picnic tables under an awning, dock and a great fire pit . We loved it and let me tell you the place was spotless ! No worries about anything ! All the kitchen perks you would ever need. First time in months we were able to really relax , thank you so much !

My whole family used to rent this cottage for a week every summer. Stopped going for various reasons about 15 years ago. It was great to see this online and easy to find. Brought back a lot of good memories. Love what they have done with the place. They kept a lot of the original stuff which was amazing! :) enjoyed our stay!
