As described secluded and private in woods. Great place to get away. Would stay again

Beautiful property - very close to Roaring River State Park and only 5-10 minutes to Walmart and Restaurants. Super clean, beds were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. Hope we can come stay again soon!

The property was beautiful and was exactly what the wife and I were after. Plenty of woods to hike with the dogs, quiet except occasional highway noise, and very pet friendly. We'll be back another time for sure

Don't be discouraged by the long review please read. When we arrived I was surprised to see the host's loose dog running around it was a young dog and very playful, I was also surprised to see that we had rented a walk out basement and the host living directly above the basement (not an apartment). After we unloaded the luggage and our two labs had settled in, The host came outside with her other older dog. She offered to show us how to use the 2 person hot tub (btw it is shared with all the other guest). I accepted her offer and we all walked to the hot tub area. During the instructions the host older dog bit one of my labs. The host immediately got defensive and accused my wife of assaulting her, (which she did not). After separating my family from the host and her dogs I attempted to reason with her and asked for a refund she said no. We stayed at the property for approx. 30 mins total. I also requested that she remove her dogs from the property and we would stay for our trip she did not reply to my request. I have contacted VRBO and they have offered no help in getting a refund for our $1,500 trip. I have contacted the guarantee department to file a claim due to my family and dogs were not in a safe environment at this property, I hope VRBO will step up and remove this host from their platform so others are not in this same situation, I am not the first to report her aggressive dog, to ensure your pets safety do not take them to this listing.

Kim was an awesome host. She had fresh fruit and pastries in our unit. Our daughter loved this! Very clean and tranquil.

Great quiet property. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Our experience was really wonderful, Kim was so very helpful and we loved the place! The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time though there were plenty of outdoor seating options and fun things to do indoors as well. We will be back, definitely recommend!
