It started out a little sketchy due to the lack of signage on the streets. Once we found the cabin we had a nice and convenient stay.

I stayed at this cottage with a friend for a girl's getaway and could not have been more pleased. The location was fabulous with shopping, restaurants, and Eureka Springs's beautiful and historic downtown just outside the door and within easy walking distance. We enjoyed people watching and listening to music from a local restaurant as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch. I was concerned that the proximity to downtown would be too noisy come bedtime, but no complaints as bedroom locations towards the back of the house provided a nice, quiet night's sleep.

We were two older couples with some mobility issues. Getting our luggage and items into the house were precarious. Also, the shower was in an old fashioned bathtub that made it extremely difficult to get in and out of. This property would be fine for fit, healthy younger guests. It was a bit disappointing that there were not 4 chairs for us to all eat at the table as well. We wish it was more descriptive when making our selection.

What a sweet little Cottage!!! Very comfortable! Nice bedding and furnishings. Perfect location and super nice host! Joe is absolutely precious. Super clean and just all around perfect. You would be missing out if you don’t stay here. Feels like home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this sweet cottage! It was great being so close to downtown and being able to just walk wherever we wanted to go. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely time at the Cottage Downtown! It was very clean and cute.
The parking was somewhat problematic in the back as it is very steep and was somewhat washed out during our stay.
Very nice owner. Smoke alarm started beeping for a new battery we just contacted owner and he came and changed it. Would stay again. Thanks for sharing your lovely little cottage with us!!!

It was perfect! Great AC, porches to watch people and begin and end each day with sunrise and sunsets. We had a mama deer and baby come into the front yard our last day. Would highly recommend

Bathroom Sinks didn’t drain well. Jacuzzi tub did not have any hot water (didn’t work). Poor parking. Inside house was clean. A/C was good and cold.

We absolutely loved the property! Myself, my husband, and two friends stayed from Friday through Monday am and the location could not have been more perfect! The beds were comfortable and the home had everything you could need. We loved walking to Central Hotel for dinner across the street, the cupcake shop down the street, the coffee shop, and all of the shopping. We really loved people watching on the porch in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with wine. We have decided to make this a new Easter tradition and plan to book with Joe again for next Easter if available! The only suggestion we have is to add a shower in the other bathroom since it only has a bath, and to maybe leave some condiments such as sugar substitutes/stevia/and creamer etc. for coffee. We are in love with the cottage! Joe is the best at communication. We cannot wait to return!!

Great location. Can walk to shops and restaurants. Parking at the house was good access to load and unload, but there were stairs and loose rocks getting into the house. Watch your step. Quiet location. Walking is the best way to explore downtown Eureka Springs as parking is difficult. Walking in town is mostly up and down hills and stairs. A good workout. Did not use the kitchen in the house except for the fridge. But it looked adequate. Only 3 chairs at kitchen table. No shower in one bathroom had us sharing bathrooms. Overall the place worked well for our needs as 69 to 74 year olds.

We loved our stay. It gets quite cold at night in the winter but once we figured out the AC we slept quite well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The hot water doesn't last very long so we sped up the bath process by filling the jacuzzi tub with boiled water from the stove... not convenient but we didn't mind as it's just part of the experience. The TV required a Roku account but we thankfully had one already. Joe was very responsive and helped us find a phone we left behind. Thank you, Joe!

Easy location to get around historic district, but very quiet at night. Walking distance to pretty much everywhere if you’re used to walking. Cute decor & clean, comfortable beds & plenty of linens. Didn’t use kitchen-too many great restaurants & coffee houses-but looked adequate. Parking off street behind house.

Cute but musty.
Great location (once it could be located-Difficult to find using GPS) and cute decor! However it does have a very musty smell. Would strongly suggest using a dehumidifier and providing air freshener.

Great space in a great location
We have stayed at this property twice, and will stay here again, no doubt. Perfect if you want two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Location makes walking everywhere in downtown Eureka an easy task. Hint: park in the back when unloading your vehicle and avoid lugging everything up the stairs!

This property was even better than we anticipated! Very cozy with all the amenities we needed. You can not beat the location when visiting Eureka Springs.

Pros and Cons - know before you go.
Pros:
- great location
- easy checkin
- clean
Cons:
- heavy mildew smell throughout the house (probably coming from the space underneath the house - even after unpacking, our sweaters still smell like it.). It’s beyond an old or vintage house smell. We tried Renuzit spray and Lysol spray to no avail.
- no closets, place to hang clothing, so no hangers
- armoire and dresser full of towels, supplies and things, so no place to place clothing. Placed clothes on chairs in the bedrooms, etc.
- no iron to get creases out of clothing that normally would be hung up
- two bathrooms but one has a jacuzzi tub only. The shower in the other one has a wraparound plastic insert to keep water in the tub.
We loved being one block from a coffee. The residents in eureka springs are friendly and welcoming.

Perfect location!
My best friend and I spent two nights in this cute cottage. The location was perfect for walking to all of the downtown restaurants and shops. This house has not one, but two, dedicated parking spots so you don't have to worry about parking or have to carry your luggage very far. The front porch was perfect to sit and enjoy a drink. From the front porch you can hear nearby live music being played outside (which our experience was that it ended by 10pm). Once inside the house we didn't notice any noise from the nearby businesses.

Charming cottage right off Main Street!
We truly enjoyed our stay here! Perfect place for two couples for a sweet, romantic getaway! Location is perfect for shopping and close to all the amazing restaurants downtown! We will definitely be back!

The Best Location!
We had a great time. The house was perfect and the location can’t be beat! We walked everywhere. The house is so close to everything that we didn’t need to drive to anything down town.

Perfect!
Wow! First of all the location..I had no idea when booking this house how close we really were to downtown. We walked everywhere! It was really convenient when the temperatures were in the 90s and we could go back to the house to cool off and head back out. In the evenings sitting on the deck was an experience in itself. Listening to the live bands at the outdoor bars and people watching was very entertaining. The cottage was charming and was perfect for us and the other couple we went with. I would definitely book this cottage again and recommend our friends or family to stay here if they plan on going to Eureka.

Quirky but cute
We stayed a week at this property. Storage is very tight and the kitchen could use some enhancing but overall a nice place to stay. Very cute with attention to detail. Parking lot (and whole town) is steep- lots of stairs on front of house. If you have elderly or lame folks with you it could be a burden. Only 1 shower- the other bathroom has a jet tub. Quirky layout but e whole town is quirky and fun.

Charming cottage
This was such a charming little cottage, it was well equipped, the air conditioning worked great and it was right smack in the middle of all the downtown shops and restaurants. Plus it has parking in the front and the back! It was also wonderful to just set out on the front porch and listen to the beautiful birds was very relaxing.

Our Spot From Now On!
This was the cutest, loveliest little home! It was so conveniently located to all the shopping and entertainment of Eureka Springs, yet so peaceful, it will be our go-to spot for girls' weekend from now on! Mornings on the front porch at this little cottage are hard to beat. And the owners were friendly, easy to contact, and so accommodating! Thank you for sharing this wonderful spot! Can't wait to return.
