La famille Martin, maison de vacances privée au bord du fleuve, est située le long du tronçon le plus captivant de la rivière Folly. C'EST LA PROPRIÉTÉ LA PLUS ISOLÉE DE L'ÎLE, À 1/4 DE MILLE SUR UNE VOIE PRIVÉE Avec votre propre quai dédié en eau profonde sur la rivière ... et à deux pas de la plage ... vous avez le meilleur des deux mondes!
Profitez des images, des sons et de l'ambiance de la magnifique rivière Folly tout en sirotant un café le matin sur le porche arrière ... en observant les oiseaux sur le quai au bord de l'eau. À la fin de la journée, détendez-vous avec un cocktail et admirez le plus beau coucher de soleil du monde!
De nombreux parcs à huîtres facilement accessibles et une pêche et un crabe illimités font de cette escapade un paradis pour les pêcheurs. La cuisine de style cuisine est très spacieuse et bien équipée pour concocter un délicieux dîner à partir des prises fraîches et des produits locaux disponibles sur l'île.

It is an extraordinary location with great privacy and view. The house has everything you need and more; the dock is very nice, and you feel like you are in the water at the end. I highly recommend it.

We had an amazing week! The house was very clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views from the porch and dock were spectacular!! We had lots of fun fishing off of the dock and watching the dolphins. It was a perfect week!

We absolutely loved the location. Best of both worlds with the river and the ocean. The kids loved the dock, catching crabs and watching the dolphins. My Mom and Aunt had fun bird watching and even added a new one to their list. A couple of blocks to the beach and definitely walkable.
Nice, quiet and relaxing stay, exactly what we were looking for and will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week with great weather. House was perfect. We can tell owners have nicely remodeled inside and are working on outside. Great views of the marsh and loved the boat dock. I brought my 23’ Hardtop CC boat and had no issues with it.I had no issues traveling under the folly river bridge.The boardwalk to dock is functional but not for young kids walking alone. We had no issues at all. We hope to book again soon👍

This house is perfect for a visit to Folly Beach! It's tucked away in what feels like a nature reserve on the river side while still only a few minute walk to the beach. The deck extending out to the river is a real highlight and a great spot for fishing, dolphin watching, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Quiet seclusion, still an easy bike ride to "downtown" Folly. The house itself has a nice layout, perfect for our family of four (with a bedroom to spare). The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We hope to stay again on a return trip!

Our family of six enjoyed this beautiful home with beautiful views of the marsh and sunsets!! The house allowed us to feel like we were at home and comfortable. We walked to blocks to the beach, which was not crowded like the Pier. The owner provided recommendations for dinner and ideas to explore in Charleston. We will be back and will stay here again.

My friends and I are Charleston locals and decided to have a Folly Beach staycation for Labor Day. We had the time of our lives. Along with what others are saying, the pictures in the listing are super dated, probably 10+ years old. The interior has been updated since the pictures were taken (larger TV in living room, updated rugs, bedding etc).
The biggest perk was the private dock. We spent 80% of our time there. Coffee in the morning, swimming and sunbathing during the day, and then dinner and sunsets in the evenings. Perfect dolphin watching spot. It was truly magical. Beach is a 5 minute walk. Downtown to the bars/restaurant about a 20 minute walk. Bikes, fishing poles, kayaks in the garage. Already want to come back next year!

Great location! Dock provided great place to fish, crab, and kayak! Easy walk to the beach for sunrise and great sunsets from the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Only issue we had were some of the lights in the house needed new bulbs but everything else worked great.

This property is great for fisherman and beach dwellers alike. Close to beach access and the deep water dock with crab trap was such a delight. Far enough back that you don’t deal with the hustle and bustle from the main strip. Never heard another person while we were there. It was seclusion at its finest. We went for a family birthday with 6 adults and had plenty of room.

Beautiful views of the marsh/river from a lovely, quiet property that is wonderfully appointed. A perfect place for our family and dear friends to gather and celebrate a birthday! Convenient to downtown Charleston and the beach.

Unfortunately we had many engagements in Charleston for our son’s ring ceremony at The Citadel but the house and location was incredible. We wished we had more time to spend on the property.

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was quaint, has amazing views 24/7 and the house was bigger than it expected and was located off the beaten path. We definitely would stay here again. The pictures on here don’t do it justice. Nothing like looking to your right and seeing Morris.

From booking to checking in to enjoying a MOST PERFECT STAY, we couldn't be happier with our experience. The mosquitos were a HUGE surprise for this California coastal family--so bring the bug spray! The house was clean and having our own private dock to walk on and fish off of was so fun for the kids. Perfect location to be by the beach and downtown Charleston while not being in the center of the city. ❤️

The pictures don’t capture the beautiful low country setting of the house on the Folly River or reflect how close it is to the beach. This property has something for everyone in your party: fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking on the river; surfing or swimming in the ocean; reading or relaxing on the screen porch; cooking in the spacious kitchen. We plan to return again in 2023!

Wonderful house on the marsh
Third year in a row and looking forward to next year!!! Pat is a great landlord and his home is so great. We have been coming since Covid started and three years later we still look forward to our family vacation. Such great fishing off the dock and just a short walk to the beach.

A hidden gem!
What a cool place! There was plenty of room for two families and would have been enough room even if another family had joined us. The views of the river were amazing and we enjoyed fishing off the dock in the evening. My 3 year old easily handled the short walk to the beach and it was nice to be so close to find back and forth as we needed. I loved the privacy and seclusion that this property offered. A bit off the beaten path, yet close enough to enjoy everything easily! Very responsive and kind property owner as well. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely Home
House was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Needed to pick up extra TP, paper towels, Kleenex, and ice. Nice screened in back porch although it needed a little extra cleaning. We absolutely loved the seclusion of the place! Beach was an easy 3 blocks from the house. Beach chairs to borrow would have been nice. We found some beach towels left behind which were appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Great Property on Folly Beach….
Property shows nicer than the images suggest. The walk to the beach is still short and well worth it to be situated on the river with a dock to use. Kids had a great time fishing and the sunsets off the river were amazing. If we ever head back to Folly Beach again I will try and stay here again, highly recommended.

Nice beach house. Felt like the beach vacation. Walked to the festival downtown. Easy walk...great festival. Only the 2 year old was able to stand the ocean water; 54 degrees!!

Peace seclusion
We enjoyed the long driveway under a corridor of coastal forest, privacy, river views, long boardwalk over sea grass to the dock where we caught lots of fish. Short golf cart ride to beach also an easy walk. Great sure conditions, great beach for kids. Off-season so no trouble parking near beach.

Hidden oasis minutes from Folly Beach life.
What a hidden jewel. As we drove down the long driveway, we felt like we were in a very private area away from the hustle and bustle of Folly Beach life. Yet we were just minute from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The views of the screened in porch and views of the marsh were lovely. Comfortable beds and nice decor. The girls weekend was a success!!!

Hidden gem
I rented this house for a last minute bday weekend! I love everything about Folly, but had never experienced the river side! As a serious beach lover, I figured we would go to the beach everyday during the stay! Great to have it as an option, but we never left the dock! The views are impeccable and this is absolute paradise! The owners communicated everything were extremely responsive, although we didn’t need anything during the stay!
