When we first showed up to the house, we were blown away by the long tree lined driveway, the huge back yard, the beautiful view of the pond, the quaint back pergola area, and by how cute the house was in general. We had 10 girls for a bachelorette trip and we could not have been happier with our stay. The open kitchen and living room area were great for cooking breakfast and lounging. We used the kayaks multiple times and enjoyed the fire pit one night. We had a lovely dinner out on the back porch. There was plenty of space for all of us. And the house was very well stocked. The property manager Anne was very responsive and helpful. She gathered firewood for us before we arrived and set out fresh flowers. We had a beeping fire alarm and we got help changing it within 10 minutes! We went into Newport area a few times and ubers would take 20 minutes to arrive but we all agreed we would rather stay in such a wonderful house and be a little farther from our activities. I would absolutely stay here again! I loved this house so much!!

We were a family of 14 ages 7-74 The outdoor space was wonderful and provided so many fun filled activities. The inside space was great but bathrooms could use a little updating. The property manager was very responsive with all of our needs. Note to others - the guest cottage first floor bedroom is an open area with no privacy. It worked well for our group that had a family of 5 staying there. We had a wonderful time.

Comfortable large home and property! Plenty of space inside and out to relax! Enjoyed kayaking and the view was beautiful!

We really enjoyed out stay in Tiverton. The house was well equipped, we enjoyed the kayaks and canoes, and yard was perfect for yard games and hanging out.

The property was great, being so close to the water was so nice. 10 degrees cooler down by the water. The kayaks and all the games were so nice to have. The house fit us well and so glad there was air conditioning.
Anne was wonderful to work with.
Our family had a great time.

We had a fantastic time. There was 10 adults and two little babies with us. Michael had everything that we could possibly need or want. We used the kayaks everyday, we cooked in the kitchen every night because there was so many pots and pans ,coffee machines utensils you name it. We ran around on the front yard and flew our kites because there was enough room and no wires to interfere with the string. The dock is a wonderful place to have morning coffee and so is the deck outside with the pergola. The beds are all exceptionally comfortable and the house was spotless. Michael was very easy to communicate with as was his property manager Anne who brought us flowers and supplies the first day. Michael offered to get us a beach pass but in the end we just ended up driving over to second Beach instead of using the Little Compton beaches. Maybe next time we will explore South shore Beach more. Heiger's ice cream is a must and about two blocks down walking distance. So many times we vacation in Newport and there is not enough parking. We had four cars and had plenty of space. Included are two very nice hammocks to attach to the trees outside and a fire pit with enough seating and one night's firewood included. Thank you!!

My entire family enjoyed our week at this property, which is no easy task given we have an age range of 7 months to 56 years old and everything in between (there were 12 of us). There really was something for everyone here. The house is very well equipped for cooking, activities/recreation, and relaxing. The surrounding area has lots of different options as well. The property manager, Ann, is extremely responsive and attentive. The only thing worth noting that wasn't fully clear in the description is that the two queen beds in the guest house are not in discrete rooms - one is located in a loft space (adjacent to a bedroom with 2 twin beds) and the other is located in the main living space on the first floor. This was not a problem for us as my daughter's family stayed in that house, but it's worth noting. My kids have already asked if we can vacation at this house again next year!

We booked this property for a multi-generational family trip, it was the perfect setting and location for all ages. We loved having easy access to all the local attractions. We kayaked, canoed, watched the sunset from the hammocks, sat by the fire everyday! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and community with us! We will be back!

We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation from college with family and friends for a long memorial day weekend. The property’s location and view from the house was incredible. We took advantage of full access to the grounds, including water activities and sporting games. The yard was expansive and also made for some memorable graduation photographs on the waterfront. Everything was provided throughout our entire experience and it was very convenient overall living. Our guests also had a very positive experience and were impressed by the house and our hosts’ attention to detail. The house And it’s adjacent structure very comfortably fit our party of 10 people . Good communication from the owners and property managers as well. Our family will never forget this past weekend in Tiverton . We can’t wait to return to celebrate another milestone!

10 of us gathered for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The water views and sunsets are spectacular. The house fit us all comfortably (beds, big dinning room table, etc). (Note that the guest house downstairs and upstairs loft are open spaces so you need to adding rooms accordingly.) Anne, Terrence, and Michael were great on communication. Would definitely come back.

Our group of nine had plenty of space to cook and hang out and relax in this house and guest house. We loved the layout and the proximity to the water and took cold plunges each morning! There were only a few minor things we could mention that might help the next guests; the toaster didn't work, there was no tea kettle (we recommend an electric kettle), and the doors to the backyard were sticking and hard to open. The people who stayed in the guest house were unfamiliar with mini split for heat so some directions on how to operate would be good as well as some extra towel racks.
We really loved it and would definitely come back! Thank you!!!

We celebrated my daugher's wedding with a small group of family and friends in this absolutely lovely spot. It was everything we dreamed of and more - a comfortable, extremely well-appointed and very attractive space that allowed us to celebrate in-doors and out-doors over a long weekend with about 25 people (some of whom stayed elsewhere). The garden and sloping lawn down to the water was just magical - even in the rain. There was a fire pit for late night smores, and plenty of lawn games for everyone's enjoyment. Anne, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. We feel very lucky to have had a chance to celebrate in such a special place. Thank you!!

We had an awesome experience at this beautiful property for our family reunion - 12 people aged 3 - 62. The listing described the location, amenities and property very accurately. We used the kayaks and paddle boarded daily. My husband was able to fish in our motorboat which he launched at a nearby public ramp. We played cornhole and croquet and used the fire pit almost daily. Lots of big family dinners and games at the big tables. Highly recommend the historic four corners area for shopping and dining. All in all - we had a terrific time and loved our time in Tiverton. The host/owner and property manager were wonderful to work with. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week at Michael’s place. Anne and her husband were more than accommodating to our large group of 13. We had ages 1.5 to 82 and everyone had a great time. We cooked and baked together in the large kitchen. We went to the seafood market down the street daily and the ice cream shop at the end of the driveway. We explored the beaches of Little Compton, Tiverton and Newport. We even spent some time in the darling town of Bristol. We had one rainy day where everyone played games. We kayaked every day. We even bought a few games and left them for others to enjoy. Thank you for the incredible family vacation.

We were delighted when we first arrived especially when we saw the amazing view. However once we entered the guest house we noticed the beds, floors and bathrooms were not clean. The bathroom had hair under the bath mat and on the walls. The floors had hair, dust, and dirt easily visible. The beds had bugs. We were told the sheets were cleaned but we still saw some hairs and bits of dirt in the bed along with the bugs. We reached out to the property manager about the unclean guesthouse. Anne said she would reach out to their cleaning person. We couldn't figure out how the Queen sleep sofa/futon pulled out that was in the listing. The house manager, Anne's response was that she was not sure about the sofa, but the house sleeps 14. The sofa was just a sofa. It didn't pull out to sleep on it. Then we had yet another hiccup, the hot water faucet in the hall bathroom of the main house did not turn on. It just kept spinning. When I reached out, still kindly even after all of of these inconveniences while on vacation, she unintentionally responded to us instead of the home owner by saying, "This one will never be happy. Next time you want to discount a June 3 day rental let me know so I can go on vacation." Yes, when we booked months prior we did receive a slight discounted rate that the home owner agreed to because we were staying mid-days.
We were astonished by the text from the house manager. I reached directly out to the home owner to make him aware of the circumstances. He c

12 of us stayed at the house for a wedding weekend in Newport. All was fabulous - great location, great amenities and lots of space for sleeping and relaxing for all of us! Just sad we didn’t have the time to really use the waterfront with kayaks, etc. Yard is beautiful with wonderful flowers and waterfront pier. Great privacy. May stay here again next year when we have another family wedding in Newport!!! You can’t go wrong between the house and the guesthouse - a winner property!

This house was perfect for our large group of girls. We loved having the backyard to hang out in and the picnic table is great for eating outside. The pictures do not do the property justice! Even though we didn’t have the best weather, some of the girls were still able to take kayaks out! The inside has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen had everything we could have ever needed for our meals! They had thought of everything.
I would absolutely make a point to return to this house.

We enjoyed every part of our weekend. We booked to accommodate friends and family for a wedding at Blithewold and this was the perfect spot. Lots of comfortable beds, a large kitchen, and a stunning setting on the water. We had a fire in the firepit, kayaked, and walked over to Evelyn’s for lobster rolls. The caretaker, Anne, was gracious and easy to communicate with. Thank you for a great weekend!

First, Anne, the caretaker was unbelievably helpful and accommodating. She is a gem!
The house exceeds the photos. We were there w family over Columbus Day weekend and it was perfect in every way. All rooms are well appointed and all the amenities were outstanding. The pictures don’t do it Justice. It’s bigger than it looks. The subset off the water is stunning. Great in every respect! We will return soon!

Our Daughter got married at a venue close by. The Tiverton property hosted friends and family for the long weekend. Some of the bridal party were able to get ready for the wedding while enjoying the ambiance and atmosphere afforded us at such an incredible location.
Everything about the house and property only added to what was a great wedding and wonderful weekend of family and friends.
The property managers and the home owner were fantastic to work with and so very accommodating. All were attentive to our needs and made our weekend more special.
We are already looking forward to return next year for an anniversary celebration and family get together.
We offer sincere appreciation for the opportunity to spend time in such a beautiful and comfortable location.

Our family stayed here for our daughter's wedding in Providence. The home and property are just beautiful! Everyone had a comfy bed and enjoyed their stay. The grounds and inside of the home were perfect for pictures of the bridal party and the water views are gorgeous! Would love to come back for a summer vacation! Thank you very, very much!

Plenty of space to house 5 couples plus two teenagers. Comfortable beds, bedding and spread out rooms offered privacy. Well stocked spacious kitchen allowed us to cook most nights with ease. We appreciated the availability of basic condiments to supplant ours. A long picnic table under an arbor on the patio afforded us gorgeous water and colorful sunsets views shielded from the sun - we lived there if not by the waterside firepit. Also available if needed: folding chairs, yard games, board games. We didn't use the two kayaks or swingset yet may be useful for some groups. This was a very comfortable peaceful setting for relaxing days and evenings when not visiting area sights. We would return!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house and guest house. The property gave our family room to spread out comfortably while also providing ample space to be together!
Outside the large picnic table, hammocks, kayaks, fire pit and lounge chairs were welcomed.

Fabulous Site for 3 Generation Family Reunion
Wonderful space for adults and kids alike. Separate apartment was a godsend for daughter and son in law with two small children. Kitchen fully equipped. Water!! Great outdoor dining & games space. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Even bought a second crib for our second new grandchild. Reasonable distance (23 min) to Horseneck Beach and 30 minutes to Newport attractions. Across the street from fabulous ice cream. Terrific destination playground for kids 10 minutes away. Would definitely return. A real summer paradise.

amazing week
The property is amazing! We were in RI for our son's wedding. I spent weeks looking for just the right home to accommodate our family of 6 adults and 5 kids. This was the absolutely perfect home for us to spread out when we wanted and still be together. The kids had a blast with all the outdoor space and especially loved kayaking and playing volleyball. Communication with the owner and the property managers was amazing. Loved staying here and would book again. Helen

Beautiful home on the water with separate Guest house
Spent 5 nights in the middle of May at this property. Our son was getting married and we needed enough room for in-laws family to spend with us from out of town. Very close (35 minutes) to PVD (TF Green Airport). Market Basket, Starbucks, TJ Maxx stores are only 10 minutes away. The home has everything you need if you are ready to relax and enjoy the view, the tranquil water and the huge backyard that feeds down to the water. Everyone in our group (11 of us) all thought the home was great. WIFI worked perfect without any issues, plenty of pots/pans/dishes as well as many different condiments needed from previous rentals as well. Stove in the kitchen worked great. The kitchen is very lived in and there is plenty of areas for more than one person to work in the kitchen if you plan on preparing a big meal. Don't expect the home to have 5 star sheets/towels/niceties like that in the house but everything at the house served us perfect. Washer and dryer worked great. We needed the caretakers of the property to address an issue for us and they reacted quickly and we were able to focus on our son's wedding without a hitch. There are 3 main bedrooms in the main house with the Master BDRM having a bathroom and the other 2 BDRMs share a full bath. The Guest house has a full bathroom and three beds that worked great for our family. There are 2 kayaks (bring lifesavers) and there are two great hammocks tied to trees on the water to really relax the day away. You are about 30 minutes away from Newport on weekend days. We would definitely stay here again, great memories with such a great and memorable weekend. Michael, the owner was super terrific and Terrance and Anne were great as well.
P.S. Don't eat at the seafood/Clam Shack about 3 homes down from the house, spent a lot of money there adn the food was very poor.

Family Friendly
Everything and Anything was available at this VRBO. Excellent communication with the owner and property managers. Ages ranged from 2 - 65. All were extremely comfortable here. Excellent outdoor spaces. Beautiful views. Plenty of spaces to be together or have private time. Able to walk for coffee or breakfast. We had an awesome time. Thank you for lending us your little piece of paradise!

Beautiful property, missing niceties
While the views and yard are wonderful and the home is charming, it is missing some of the nice details/updates. For example, kitchen faucet leaks, bathroom water is brassy/yellow, towels are well-loved, etc. If you are low maintenance and laid-back just looking for beautiful views on the water, this is the spot for you. Owners are very nice and responsive.

Lovely weekend with the girls!
I booked this property for a group of girlfriends to spend the weekend for a bachelorette celebration. There were 10 of us and this property was perfect! We even had room for more people, if needed. The property is quite large so we weren't right on top of our neighbors. Anne and Terrence were wonderful to work with when at the house. Thanks for all the firewood, Terrence! Many of us kept saying we want to come back with our families, or another girls trip. It would be a perfect place for sets of parents with teens, because the kids could take over the guest house, while the main house could stay quiet. There is a drive to get into Newport or over to Providence, but even with it being a bachelorette weekend it wasn't a problem. I wish I could keep this house a secret since I'm trying to find a time for my extended family to make the trip back to RI, but I suppose more people should enjoy it too!

Tiverton - who knew?
Our Tiverton stay was a wonderful spot for our family gathering. Lovely property with spacious lawns in front and back and prize location on the bay. Our group of 8 were very comfortable. Walks, hikes and restaurants all close by. Kids enjoyed kayaking and looking for crabs. Property manager recommended a lovely drive to beach at Little Compton which was very pleasant.

No complaints here!
We had 4 families staying for the week. Outdoor space was amazing. We all enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, volleyball setup, dock and the coffee shop and restaurants nearby. Kitchen was well stocked as we cooked majority of meals. Kids had a great time catching crabs or playing corn hole. It was a great week!

Family oasis in Tiverton
This property and house was just what we were looking for with our growing family. The house was beautiful and so well equipped. The property was beyond the pictures, just beautiful. We had every yard game out as well as the kayaks. Fun for all ages for sure.
We did bring bikes and enjoyed exploring the back roads. The only reason I gave the location four stars is it is on a busy road which you had to travel on to get to the picturesque back roads. That being said, the property is set far back from that road and you don’t even notice it while enjoying the expansive backyard.
Thank you, Michael for sharing your property with us for the week. We all had such a good time and we are sad it is over for sure! Also, thank you Anne and T.

FUN!
Wonderful house and cottage. Plenty of kitchen supplies. House has plenty of room for the 11 of us to gather. Note: Cottage has no private spaces. First floor is bathroom/sitting area/queen bed that upstairs folks have to walk through. Second floor is queen with walk through to twin room...DESPITE that comment our family of young adults (with boyfriends LOL) loved the cottage and figured it out! AGAIN THE MAIN HOUSE IS AMAZING! We were enough people to set up the volleyball net on the front lawn and play whiffle ball. too...no need to bring your own beach chairs, sports equipment, puzzles or games...just bring decks of cards...so much FUN and so much to do in the area...it was our first trip to Tiverton.

Dreamy weekend getaway with the family
If you're even slightly thinking about booking Michael's home, DO IT.
I booked this gorgeous house for Memorial Day Weekend for my family to enjoy some well earned time off (for background, my parents are small business owners and have only taken one vacation in 18 years). I knew the trip would be a great memory for us, but I had no idea just how healing and special the weekend would become.
For avid fishers and seafood lovers, you can't beat this spot. Despite the extraordinarily rainy and cold weather, my dad was out at 5:30am every morning for four straight days, fishing on the dock. We had a ton of oysters (the freshest, tastiest my dad says he's had since once back in Korea 25+ years ago!), crab, clams, shrimp and even red snapper.
The house itself was the perfect size for a family trip, even just for four — it was spacious enough that we could each have privacy but cozy and communal enough that we were always brought back together, the way it should be! We loved sitting at the table, drinking coffee, looking out onto the water, and cooking together in the gorgeous, expansive kitchen. The decor and art on the walls tied it all together.
Once the sun finally came out on our last day, it was a whole new world — my only regret is that I wish we got to experience more days in the sun! The way the light hits the water and peeks through all the florae on the property — it's absolutely celestial. Our dog was very happy to run all over the yard, and we loved being able to kayak on the water.
Re: location — it couldn't have been better. Very short drive from the highway but still so serene and feels like you're in your own private oasis. Only about five minutes down the road is a district called Tiverton Four Corners. If you like cute coffee shops, antiquing, shopping, art, good food and, you know, general happiness — it's a must visit.
A few other notes, too: Michael is an incredibly thoughtful and communicative host. It's very rare to book with someone as kind and available as he is, and it makes a huge difference in the overall experience. I didn't get a chance to meet Anne, but Terrance, one of the property managers, was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. We had a slight hiccup with the hot water our first night and Terrance was immediately on it and got everything back up and running again. You'll also love seeing his adorable Goldendoodle, Dooley, peek into the windows when Terrance comes over to do any maintenance!
