We stayed at Villa Cascada for a week to check off a place on our father’s bucket list. The house was well laid out with plenty of room for our group to spread out. The kids loved the pool and close proximity to the beach. It was a very close walk to shops and restaurants. Marlon and Ines were wonderful and so friendly. Maria helped us set up an estuary tour and fishing trip. We were able to relax and unwind and thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Thank you!

We had an amazing time and the house was perfect for our needs. Just steps from the beach although the kids spent most of the time in the pool lol. Only thing I would say was that you are only given one beach towel per person and when you are swimming all day only having one beach towel per person was a bit challenging, especially when you have kids swimming majority of the day. Having to use a wet towel was kind of a bummer. Communication was great for our needs and things that came up! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants and bars. There were monkeys in the backyard in the morning. Place was clean, and just as advertised. The house keeper and landscaper were really friendly. We will be back!

The property was as advertised, and working with Lisa and the staff there quite easy. Some members of my family change their minds often, and the staff were exceptional in going with the flow. The house and location are amazing, a very easy walk into town, and having the pool meant the kids could play all day. It was the vacation of a lifetime.

The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location! Short walk into town and a stone throw from the beach! Big enough for the 11 of us to have our own space and just enjoy the break from our very active lives back at home. Recommend the property!

Perfect for a group of various ages. Easy access to the town center. We did really use and enjoy the golf cart from Rent me Tamarindo. Our group gathered every night to celebrate the amazing sunsets.
My only recommendation would be to add to the kitchens baking pan and utensil options for those of us who cook:)

This was our second time at Villa Cascada -- we're a family of 5 retired/almost retired couples; and this is one of our favorite places to gather. The location is good and the property is wonderful. Ines and Maria were quick to help us with any questions.

We had a large group comprised of 15 people (8 adults and 8 kids ranging from 5m to 8y). The property is perfectly suited to accommodate a large group, because rooms are well separated, making it feel almost like a compound. This was important for our stay because many of us had infants/toddlers that needed areas to go to bed early and not be interrupted.
the property is modern, immaculately clean, and the host was very responsive and helpful. The property is right on the beach which made beach days very easy. The pool and hot tub was obviously a blast with the kiddos :) The place is in walking distance to pretty much all of downtown tamarindo so we never needed a car or golf cart rental.
Highly recommend that you ask the housekeeper to make breakfast everyday! She charges $40 dollars for the service (no matter how many people)+ingredients. It ended up costing approximately $55 dollars total per breakfast for 15 people and it was delicious!
Re hired chef provided by the property, I would recommend asking how much extra it would cost for children if it is not stated on the menu, and how much ingredients may end up costing. We were surprised by how much we ended up paying because ingredients were so expensive (It more than 2x what we were expecting to pay). Needless to say, we used the service only once.
Expect to see monkeys, iguanas, crabs, 100s of hermit crabs, exotic birds who frequently visited the property!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Cascada! Beautiful house with unbelievable views of the ocean. It was an excellent location close to town and literally steps from the beach. The sunsets were gorgeous, the people were friendly, and the home is stunning. Our favorite part of the trip was meeting Ines, the housekeeper who made us breakfast every morning for an additional fee that was worth every penny! She went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The homeowner was very nice and responsive too, and she provided a great informational sheet prior to our trip. We would love to return to Tamarindo and stay at Villa Cascada!

We had a great time staying at this Villa. It was prime location and the house was the perfect size for our group of 12 adults. The only drawback was that the house is located directly next to a public beach. We saw a couple people trying to get into the property more than once. We had a great time though and service was great!

Villa Cascada was perfect for a vacation with our adult children. The location is right on the beach and walking distance to everything in downtown. Maria, the property manager was very attentive and a great resource for local vendors or trips. The property is kept immaculate by the maid and grounds keeper.
We spent many days just relaxing at the house instead of taking day trips. Relax in the pool and watch the howler monkey families in the trees above you. Take a few steps outside the gate and you are at the southern end of Tamarindo beach which is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and watching the sunset. Next door is Langosta Beach Club where you can enjoy beachside cocktails and snacks in their comfortable lounge chairs. A 5 minute walk up the beach and you have all of Tamarindo's beach front restaurants. It is the perfect location!
For adult couples, the property is perfect. Everyone had their own private bedroom suite which opened up to the courtyard. The entire property is gated and very well secured.
We highly recommend Villa Cascada as a vacation destination in Tamarindo!

The home is absolutely beautiful right on the beach. Very quite yet a stones throw from the beach bars and restaurants in Tamarindo. We will definitely be back to this home.
Maria, the concierge, was also amazing. From lining up a private chef to helping line up a golf cart to get around town. Just having her to help made the stay that much easier.

Overall it was a great stay! Beautiful home. Very clean. Maria was incredibly kind and very communicative and would check-in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was primetime as it was right on the beach. Ines, (housekeeper) was awesome. Made us breakfast every morning and was just a gem of a human. We have absolutely zero complaints and would definitely stay there again!

House was perfect, steps from the beach! Maria, the property manager was the bomb, all her suggestions for rentals, lessons and excursions were perfect. If we needed something, she responded within minutes. She was there at check in for orientation of house. Ines, the daily maid, was awesome. Not having to worry about dishes and laundry was a game changer. The house is down the beach from city center so not as crowded down our way. Only negative about the beach is that the house is next to a public access so the crowd is random, but it had no effect while being inside the house grounds. We couldn’t tell it was there. Lisa, owner was responsive and flexible as trip changed after our original booking! Sunsets are AMAZING!

We were in Tamarindo celebrating our 10 year anniversary with a group of 11 adults and two young children, and had an amazing stay at this house!
The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and had a great amount of privacy from one another for our group! The kitchen is large and well appointed for cooking, the dining areas are lovely, and we absolutely LOVED the beautiful outdoor space and pools next to the beach front. Other bonuses that we appreciated were the beach chairs, pool noodles and cooler you can use while staying.
The location in Tamarindo can’t be beat! We were steps from the beautiful beach and just a short few minute walk into town too. Our group saw monkeys in the trees by the beach one morning too! It would be nice if the view of the water were better, but since it’s right next to the public beach area, I think the plants in from theta provide privacy is more important and I liked that… you still have a peekaboo view from the pool and a great view from the master suite!
The service from the house manager was exceptional! She offered to book airport transfers or tours, helped arrange for the private chef to cook for our group the first night (which was AMAZING and probably the best ceviche I’ve ever had… well worth the money), and was able to provide us with a crib and high chair for our little one too.
We highly recommend this rental and if coming back with a large group again to Tamarindo, we would book again in a heartbeat. Gracias!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Casada. The property is located right on the beach in a perfect location close to town. We did rent a golf cart which we believe was a good move to run to the store for things as we needed them. There were a couple of small issues while we stayed there that the staff took care of promptly for us -Thank you! We had fun getting to know Inez the house keeper, she was fantastic! There was even a family of monkeys that came through one day - pretty cool! WE will stay there again!

Room for 6 couples, clean house, great staf. Great location, walked to town via beach and street. Did the Thursday night market, snorkel sunset cruise. Try the fish market along the beach and vegetable vans in town. Great fish dinner our last night.

We had two families of 5 each. This house easily accommodated us and was in a great location. The public beach is right next door, which was a little loud one night. The house cleaner was very nice and we had a great time.

The property is perfect for bigger groups. We had 3 families (6 kids, 7 adults) and it felt like a private resort. Space for everyone to be together and spread out. Note that two bedrooms are accessed only from the outside, in addition to the Casita and Apartment. Even having kids in outside rooms, felt very safe due to security system and double gate to community and house. Pool was fantastic, with plenty of pool toys and beach chairs for a walk out to the front. The beach was a cute walk through arched vegetation. Next door is the public beach, but that never bothered us; no noise or safety concern. Concierge and Housekeeper were fantastic. Only disappointment was pool was cleaned 8am-10am and kids would have liked to use it earlier in the day too, however we still had lots of pool time. We look forward to returning to Villa Cascada in the future.
Additionally, recommend golf carts for getting around town, especially to buy grocery. We walked many days as well; town is less than 10 min walk up the beach and felt safe day and night. We would not recommend the chef at house; although convenient to have someone cook, we were disappointed to be charged more than expected. The food truck garden is fantastic, but expect a long wait. Book the catamaran; drinks, food, paddle boards, lily pad, snorkeling at two locations, sunset! Deep sea fishing was amazing; caught Mahi Mahi and Grouper and cooked fresh back at the house (at least 3 meals worth). If working Jairo for excursions, inquire about details of trip; we hiked to hidden waterfall, and it was fantastic but would not have worked for a group who didn’t enjoy swimming to get through trail or cliff jumping, and water shoes would have been nice to have (this was our teenagers favorite activity!). Zip lining is a must! We didn’t get the right waves for surfing, and hope to try this next time.

Beautiful house and property right on the edge of Tamarindo. Stores and downtown Tamarindo a 5-10 minute walk from the property. The housekeeper, Ines, was a sweetheart and kept the house spotless. Jairo was the go-to and always came through. A small plumbing issue (leak) was taken care of expeditiously. The view of the beach is a bit obstructed at ground level but otherwise you are right there. Overall, if Tamarindo is the place for you, I’d recommend Villa Cascada!

My guests and I stayed at Villa Cascada after my wedding in Guanacaste. The property was stunning! It was spacious and private, but also located within walking distance to everything you need.
The property management and on-site staff were nothing short of incredible! Everyone was polite, prompt, informative, and accommodating. Inés, the housekeeper, was amazing!
We would happily stay here again if we return to the area!

Where do I begin.. The property was amazing! The staff was amazing! You could not ask for a better staff for a property! Maria, Ines & Marvin were just wonderful - you took care of everything perfectly!! I am hoping our travels in the future will bring us right back to Villa Cascada!

We were three generations staying over Christmas. The Villa was perfect for our family. The house was beautiful and the grounds were perfectly maintained with daily attention of the groundskeeper. The location was only a five minute walk to town. Maria, the property manager, was prompt in responding and very helpful. Inez, the housekeeper, was a delight. Remember to ask for her to make your breakfast several times. The cost is $35 plus food. Maria can arrange for a private catamaran for your party. It is pricey, but everyone agreed it was the highlight of the trip. Maria also arranged for a private chef for us. She is the best! This is the place to stay in Tamarindo!

First and foremost, Maria is amazing. She was so very responsive and helpful - the logistics of everything from being picked up at the airport, to golf cart rentals (highly recommended), to confirming the chef and excursions - she was on top of EVERYTHING. The house was ideal for our family Thanksgiving holiday. Comfortable rooms/bathrooms for 7 adults, a child and a baby. We didn't even need two of the rooms. The location of the house is perfect - when we were not bopping around town on the golf carts, we were taking long walks on the beach to meals, shopping, fire shows on the beach. We will be back, no question.

We stayed at Villa Cascada in July 2022 with 8 adults, 5 kids aged 8-10 and a one-year old baby. This house/location is AWESOME. The house is spacious so multiple families/friends can comfortably have their own area. The home is clean, well appointed and decorated nicely. It's located on the beach and just a short walk to downtown Tamarindo, shops, eating, etc. We did not have to bring a high chair or pack and play for the baby because the house had both (and in good condition).
Ines, the housekeeper, is a gem. She is wonderful and kind. She keeps the house spotless and cooked breakfast for our family several times. Thank you Ines!!
Maria the property manager is also great! She organized numerous excursions with transportation for our whole crew. She also organized airport transportation, grocery delivery and golf cart rental. She greeted us and explained everything in the house upon arrival. We didn't have to do much of anything except relax.

6 couples came in to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and boy did we have a BLAST. The house suited us perfect and Ines, the house keeper is exceptional. I highly recommend the catamaran tour and getting golf carts for around town. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic home. Fantastic location just steps from the beach....so easy for our family of 13 with a wide range of ages. Inez our housekeeper was very sweet and always attentive to our requests. Maria our concierge was fantastic as well--great communication with us daily whenever we had requests. Used 2 six seater golf carts to get our crew around Tamarindo. Maria arranged for a chef to cook dinner two nights of our week-long stay, which I highly recommend. However, there are so many close fantastic restaurants within walking distance or a golf cart ride. The kitchen is fully stocked and the supermarket is about a 1/2 mile away if you prefer to do it yourself. Would visit again in a heartbeat!!

The home was great. Plenty of room. When you check in make sure you have someone that is detailed. Ask about how to play speakers, all tv's, and security codes. We figured it all out at the end of the stay. Facing the beach to the left there is a place to get cocktails and watch the sunset. The beach chairs are just like tail gating chairs. So we didn't use the beach that much because they are not comfortable to lay out in. I really didn't like looking at people camping out in there cars and vans to the right. It is a public beach next door. The entrance to the beach needs to be taken down a different path. That was the main thing I did not like. We had a great time and felt safe.
