Située sur un grand terrain sur la magnifique Crystal River, la maison a plus de 3000 pieds carrés d'espace de vie sur deux niveaux: un rez-de-chaussée à aire ouverte avec cuisine, salle à manger, salon, grand porche, 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes et une buanderie; et un niveau inférieur walk-out avec 2 autres chambres, 1 salle de bain complète, une grande salle familiale et un évier de bar, réfrigérateur et micro-ondes. La maison présente des planchers de bois franc récemment rénovés, de nouveaux tapis, des carreaux de salle de bain et des comptoirs de cuisine en quartz au niveau principal, et un style décontracté et éclectique avec un mobilier agréable et confortable.

Great house. Perfect location. Easy check in and out. The sound from the river and the privacy on the deck was just perfect. I speak for everyone that stayed there with me, it was lovely and will hopefully do it again in ‘25.

This home is wonderful for two families. The kitchen is well stocked. The evaporative cooler kept the house cool in the afternoon and evenings. It was great to hear the River running. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location in a nice neighborhood. This house, while not new, is beautifully maintained and equipped. It is the best furnished house I have ever rented. It is perfect for a large family gathering. The owners were so nice and comfortable to deal with. It is adjacent to the Crystal River and the sound of running water was such a delight. I forgot and left the garage door open one night and A hungry bear paid a visit. Fortunately, the only damage was a tipped over trashcan and a bit of a mess in the driveway. This was entirely my fault and was avoidable. You, I hope to return to carbondale in the future and would very happily rent this house again!

We have stayed here several times just because it is so perfect! The house is perfect for a family, lots of private space and yet a very lovely deck for outdoor feasting together. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect fit for us. The kitchen is always well stocked with the basics so no need to run out and get all your spices,oils etc. as soon as you check in. The beds are very comfortable, house is well furnished, we love it all!

The house is perfect. It has enough room so 8 guests feel very comfortable. The deck is beautiful and the kitchen is perfect. We cooked and baked quite a bit and it was super comfortable. Very near town so running out for anything you need is easy. Also close to trails and beautiful country. Perfect house and location.

Outdoor sitting areas are important to us and this house was perfect! We had 3 couples all cyclists. The bike rides in this area are just breathtaking, especially with the fall foliage! The house is not new, but very comfortable. And it was the best equipped vrbo I have every stayed in (and I have a lot of experience in this type of travel). Loved our stay and hope to come back.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The floor plan was perfect for our party of 8. The back deck and patio area are private and peaceful. House well accommodated- had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, etc. Will definitely return!

The property is in a great location, was convenient to all the activities and people we came to visit. The property was not quite ready for us when we arrived as housekeeping was delayed but the owners quickly remedied that problem and we enjoyed our stay in Carbondale very much!

Our family stayed here for our son’s wedding. Perfect location and plenty of room for four couples. Well stocked kitchen for cooking and comfortable beds. We’d stay here again!

This house is welcoming and has a great layout. The entry has lots of hooks and cubbies for gear and coats. The kitchen is well appointed and connects to the upstairs living room, dining room and deck. The rooms are all good sized and the downstairs is private and huge. Hosts were very responsive and the location is great for walks and skiing.

Thomas and Linda is what I call the "old school" way of home rental. It is not a property management company it is the owners of the home you are dealing with. This is now the second time I have rented with this family and it has been great. Not a stuffy HOA like River Valley Ranch that has so many rules and regs that you have to sign away your first born to rent a place from them. Linda was able to answer my question and troubleshoot an issue over the phone and that was wonderful. Sorry Linda that I had to call you and bother you at your party. My brothers and sister/ and spouses all stayed at the house. They told me that the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen worked well and we had all the spices and condie
ments needed.
On the main floor there are 2 bedrooms. Master suite lovely master bathroom/tub with a view. Huge closet. The other bedroom is large with a queen bed and has an attached bathroom/bath but this bathroom is also the main floor "powder room." Was not an issue for our family. The balcony deck overlooks the Crystal River. We stayed in the summer and the river could be heard but not seen because of the overgrowth. We enjoyed our time on the deck telling family stories. Downstairs there are two more bedrooms but not ensuite. One room with twin beds and the other one a Queen. The bathroom is close and have enough towels for everyone. Also downstairs is a great another living room and great gathering place. You can walk out to the yard with table and chairs and listen to the river sounds. So peaceful.

We met both our kids and young grandkids for a week’s vacation. The property was spacious with lots of good gathering places as well as good sleeping arrangements for all of the families. Surrounded by opportunities to entertain ourselves in parks, river, downtown, etc. Great hosts!

We all came to Carbondale from England to attend a family wedding and meet up with American cousins from all over the US. The house put 5 of us up for 5 days - and it met all our expectations. It was well located, well equipped, clean and pleasant. There was no air conditioning which one might have thought would be unfortunate given the heat during July. However, there was a controlled ventilation system which did a good cooling job and to green-minded visitors such as us, was a much preferred option. We did have one problem with plumbing which could have been significant, but the owner dealt with it promptly and so rather than a disaster, it became a minor irritation. This was really a one-off event for us, but should we stay in Carbondale again, this house would be on our list...

River Sounds
Two grandparents, two parents and two little boys opened the door of this house and were blown away at the beautiful layout, the size and the cleanliness that greeted us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and there were plenty of paper towels and toilet paper rolls in case we ran out. We spent time playing games at the dining table and eating outside on the beautiful deck. Always in the background was the lovely sound of the river.

Outstanding host and outstanding property
This was a perfect rental for our family. Plenty of privacy and space for everyone. Home was extremely well stocked, with everything we could have ever needed. Host was wonderful with communication (the best of all vrbo owners we have ever had). Highly recommend this lovely home. Listing information is 100% percent accurate. Thank you, Linda and Thomas! Lovely Home, Great Location-Has Everything You Need
This lovely home in the town of Carbondale is exactly as advertised! We just enjoyed a wonderful week of skiing, snowmobiling and connecting with our family at this spacious and well-appointed home. The house is as pictured with great common areas for meals, visiting, games and TV. We appreciated that the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, basic spices and condiments, and all of the small appliances that you would expect. All beds were very comfortable! The location is SO very convenient for skiing and other activities. We walked in the neighborhood and in the town on marked trails. The river is beautiful and located in the backyard. We own rental beach property and truly recognize when the owner has gone the extra steps to ensure your comfort and convenience. We highly recommend this property and hope to come back again! We love the location and the house has enough space for our group of teens who like to stay up late and sleep in and grown ups who don’t. This is the second time we have stayed at this property we love it so much.

Wonderful Stay With Family
My family and I had a wonderful time getting together for skiing and exploring the region at this house! Everyone raved about the accommodations; the open kitchen and living room were perfect to get everyone together and share in conversation; lots of natural light; ample space that allowed members of our group to have privacy. The location is great, it provided easy access to skiing in Aspen and activities in Glenwood Springs for those who weren't skiing; the Crystal River, immediately behind the house, made for a beautiful backdrop. We look forward to visiting again sometime!

Dream House in Carbondale
The place is superb. Right on the river, spacious and comfortable, short walk to town and to great hikes, close to everything, local beer in the fridge, what more could you want? Kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal. I hope to stay here again!

A little piece of heaven.
The location was perfect for skiing in Aspen by day and soaking in the hot springs by night. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything that you would need from home for your favorite recipes. Spacious rooms and plenty of linens and towels. We would definitely stay again. And the icing on the cake, was waking up and having the driveway shoveled. Nice touch!!🙂

Comfy, spacious, fabulous neighborhood
Our two kids (age 6 and 9) spent tons of time at the river behind the house, exploring the banks and playing at the riverside park. The yard is also a great outdoor space for kids. The house has lots of space for multiple people to spread out comfortably. It's clean! Best of all - when we arrived, there were a few minor issues and the owner was immediately responsive, gracious, and took care of it right away. The owners manage the property (rather than a company), and really care about the home and that guests are happy. Great stay.

Wedding Celebration!
Our son, who lives in Denver, was getting married at a ranch in Carbondale in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We needed a house to accommodate 8 immediate family members. This house was perfect! Roomy, comfortable, well appointed and in a quiet, pretty area of Carbondale. We could not have asked for a better place to stay! Very happy with our choice.

Quiet Place

Comfort in Carbondale
This property was a perfect home base for our Carbondale biking experience. We shared the house with 2 other couples and found it to be an optimal gathering place: well appointed kitchen, cozy living areas, spacious deck, private baths for each couple. We cooked 3 dinners there and every kitchen implement needed was on hand. The home was within easy biking (and walking!) distance to town and trail, close to grocery store, and nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood with colorful summer gardens and lush green lawns. We enjoyed biking from the house to the Rio Grande and Crystal River trails, evening walks in the neighborhood, and happy hours on the deck, accompanied by the relaxing murmur of the Crystal River. Highly recommend.

Just Perfect
We really loved staying at this property. We walked into a perfectly clean, spacious house that worked great for our family. Everything was well stocked and kitchen was easy to cook in. The back deck with grill was perfect for our late afternoon happy hours. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Carbondale!!

we enjoyed the main living area so much that we took out a tape measure to post our impressions for our home dream book. We loved the big windows and the cooling cross breeze running between the front and back door. The outdoor space is lovely. Plus, you can access the river a couple of doors down. There's a tranquil path perfect for morning or evening strolls.Basically, we loved everything about the house. Thank you Linda for being such a splendid hostess!
