Booked the cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The property is close to downtown Collingwood and Blue Mountain, but feels very secluded, quite, and very private. Cabin has everything you need, just be sure to bring bedding and towels.

This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect from your busy lives. It is beautiful and peaceful. A little piece of heaven! Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful, the property better than advertised. So cozy and welcoming, nothing but peace and quiet.

This was the perfect serene oasis. We celebrated our 10th anniversary at the cabin and it was an amazing location - private and peaceful, but still close enough to nearby attractions. The cabin itself was wonderful and just as advertised. The perfect place for 2 people. And the pond and yard area were better than advertised - the view was unbelievable. The cabin had everything we needed. We were only there for 2 nights so didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to be very well-stocked with all the necessary pots, utensils, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the whole cabin was clean and well-appointed. We definitely hope to stay at this little slice of heaven again!

We wanted to get away for a quiet 2 day vacation, and this cabin surpassed our expectations. The weather didn't totally cooperate but we had a great time exploring collingwood, the wineries, cideries and breweries. The cabin is fairly isolated and we loved sitting on the porch and just looking out at the pond and the fantastic view. If we are able we want to go back in the summer when the weather will be better.

This was our second stay at the cabin and it was just as perfect as the first. We had an amazing time and the cabin was the perfect place for us to ring in the new year!

Location is easy to find and close to Collingwood. Cabin is clean and has everything you might need. The cabin is very private and tucked away. We spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying the views and the sounds of nature (owls, coyotes, wild turkeys…). Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful property. Any season (we came in December) would be awesome. Peaceful and private. Away from the hustle bustle of Collingwood but still close enough. Loved it!

This is a beautiful and secluded cabin on a gorgeous property...the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin is gorgeous inside with a lovely wood burning fireplace and all the amenities needed to stay put and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The outside fire pit is perfectly situated to enjoy the view of the pond and of the blue mountains. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much John and Cheryl!

I googled where do I find peace and quiet after a terrible day at work; this little piece of heaven popped up. What an incredible stay we had. Bring food and coffee, (there's a Keurig, but if you like a lot of coffee like we do, bring instant or your own coffee maker) because you are not going to want to leave once you get here. Collingwood is a very short drive if you need anything. Thank you John and Cheryl, we did not want to leave.

The 'retreat' was everything my husband and I had hoped for and then some. It was so quiet and private. The cabin and property were beautiful and excellently maintained. The view was spectacular. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

We had a fantastic time. When we saw the picture of the cabin we thought could this actually be real. lol Boy oh Boy was it. The landscaping, the view, the cabin the relaxation of this place is out of this world. We had a wonderful time and will be back. This cabin is was so much more than we expected. Such a beautiful place and amazing spot with so much privacy. Having a fire at sunset was the perfect way to end our nights. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed two nights. The property and cabin are absolutely breath taking. Very comfortable bed, great layout and the view is absolutely stunning. Loved the trail on the property and the pond was very clean and safe to swim in

This cabin provided a true escape. Swimming in the clear pond water was amazing. If you want peace and privacy then this spot is for you.

I surprised my girlfriend for her 30th birthday by taking her here and man did it not disappoint. My girlfriend was in tears when we first arrived as the pictures are amazing, but seeing this place in person is a different story. The cabin is simply stunning with incredible architecture inside and out. There are so many designated areas to hang and we lived them all. From the swing, couches/ chairs on patio, upstairs bedroom patio, gazebo, and lit up fire pit, we really made this place our home for 3 nights! The outside environment is something next level. It is super peaceful and beautiful here and has some of best views and sounds of nature you’ll ever find so bring your camera (we saw turtles, a stork, and many birds). We went out for my girlfriends birthday to a nearby winery called the Roost and that was awesome so I highly recommend doing the blind wine tasting there (ask for Don). The cabin is very clean and equipped, but just make sure to bring extra pods for coffee, own spices, containers for food and parchment paper/ tinfoil and clear wrap. We also swam in the pond a few times which was super refreshing so bring your bathing suit if you want a quick dip. Can’t say enough about this getaway as it was super relaxing, romantic, beautiful, and exceeded our expectations. John is also an unreal host and helped us from start to finish making our stay super comfortable. Highly recommend this to any couple and we will be back someday! Shawn & Kate

We celebrated my wife's 70 birthday. We were both blown away by this exceptional romantic getaway. We did not want to leave! We told each other we would be back next year. If this not an indication on how amazing this place is, we dont know what else to say! You need to experience it to believe it! We never left the property! Total peace and quiet and relaxation.

The log cabin is situated in very pretty surroundings. A pond is right outside and is home to greenfrogs and provides good hunting for the swallows which nest nearby. It's very restful to sit on the porch and listen to the frogs and watch the swooping swallows. I'm told there are also deer and other wildlife who visit. A very restful cabin in a lovely situation. A pretty garden of flowers surrounds the building too. We enjoyed the proximity of Collingwood and Blue Mountain as well.

We can't say enough good things about this property. Somehow the beautiful pictures don't do this place justice; it is such a picturesque wonder! The cabin has everything you need inside and the property owner has made the whole property completely turnkey. On top of all that, we just got engaged at the campfire during sunset at this cabin...so it must have some extra magic!! Rent this cabin, you will be very happy you did!
