Situé dans le quartier historique de Cape Charles, ce chalet entièrement rénové est proche de tout - plages, commerces, marinas, restaurants, salles de mariage, golf et parcs.
La disposition en bas est très ouverte, y compris un grand îlot de cuisine central parfait pour cuisiner, dîner ou jouer à des jeux. (La maison peut accueillir 12 personnes pour le dîner - 7 à la table de la salle à manger et 5 au bar). Un 1/2 salle de bain et buanderie sont situés hors de la cuisine.
A l'étage, 3 petites chambres, chacune avec un lit queen. Il y a aussi une salle de bain complète (baignoire / douche) avec un double lavabo.
À l'extérieur, vous trouverez un porche couvert, une terrasse arrière, une immense douche extérieure et un ensemble balançoire.
Finitions haut de gamme grâce à des comptoirs en granit, des moulures sur mesure, des planchers en teck.
Le linge de maison, les oreillers et les serviettes de bain sont inclus.
Cuisine entièrement équipée et barbecue à gaz (propane fourni).

The house was our “home away from home” after a busy day at the beach. It was great to come home and cook dinner in the amazing kitchen/open floor plan. The bedrooms are all upstairs so your partner can sleep in while you make breakfast for them. The outdoor area is neat and well landscaped. The outdoor shower was terrific. It was a fantastic spot for a short vacation. I only wish I would have had more time to make it a longer vacation. Highly recommend this property and the owners.

We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and living area is a good open layout. 3 bedrooms and the bathroom had ample space. Would suggest some hooks in bathroom to hang towels or toiletry bag.
Kitchen had the necessary amenities.
It is a short walk to the Main Street and the beach although we drove. We had a wonderful time visiting CC!

Beautifully decorated, but not overly fussy, the on-line photos are 100% accurate. A lovely front porch to sit on, and a nice backyard spot. We used the grill for several dinners and the kitchen was with well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We loved walking to the beach and exploring the neighborhood. The hosts responded quickly when we had questions, thank you!

Nicely redone home with plenty of room. The outdoor space is very nice as well. Great location and neighborhood. Short walk to shops and restaurants. The beach is right at the end of the road. Lovely place to stay!

This Property was great!
I was on a week long business trip and really enjoyed this home. It was easy to check in with owner when I needed additional information. The house was very clean. I highly recommend this rental if you're going to Cape Charles!

The house was perfect. Cleanest, cutest, very comfortable, wonderful location, furnished and decorated tastefully. Matt was always prompt in responding from initial booking through departure.

We stay at a lot of rentals every year and this is by far our favorite and here’s why:
1) It’s impeccably clean.
2) You can tell the owners invested in high quality furniture & furnishings which holds up well throughout the season.
3) We stayed here two years ago and since then it’s held up extremely well. There is hardly any wear and tear (because of #2).
4) The decor is perfect. Not overdone, tasteful beachy.
5) It has just what you need without the unnecessary extras that tend to bog down other rentals.
6) The location is amazing!
7) Outdoor shower!!!!!
8) Owners are extremely helpful and easy to work with.
You won’t be disappointed staying in “the fish house”. We can’t wait to come back again next year!

This was our first trip to Cape Charles and we are in love. This home was immaculate, newly renovated, wonderfully equipped. It felt like the hosts were really trying to make this a welcoming spot and though of small details: spices in the cabinet, bottled water. We loved walking around the beautiful neighborhood and spent a lot of time on the porch and backyard. Really special place, we want to go back!

The property was incredibly clean, the check in process was easy, and it was convenient to the beach. Because we have 2 kids (a 2-year old and a newborn), we drove the 1 minute drive to the beach for convenience, but it’s definitely walkable.
Matt was communicative and the stay was all we needed for a quick family getaway.

Second time staying at Matt and Mary’s cottage - just as great this time around! Cottage is perfectly clean and cozy, and it has everything you need. Plenty of space for our little family (2 adults and a preschooler). Blocks from the beach - just a minute to drive! Can’t wait to come back!

Our family of four absolutely loved this sweet house and all it had to offer. The kids loved the play set in the shade after a day at the beach. The outdoor shower was so convenient and we appreciated the beach chairs available to us. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and serving dishes. All around a perfect stay!

This house is so beautiful - the pictures can't fully capture it and do it justice. We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a simple, 10 minute walk from the beach (or a 1 minute drive). Everything in the house is peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the front porch and reading there when it rained, the kids loved the back yard - they played on the playset for hours every morning and evening. We loved using the outdoor shower and the beds were very comfortable. The whole placed was immaculate and they did an incredible job with the renovations - it felt brand new! We had no issues the entire week, which was a refreshing change after our experience staying at a different property only a few doors down last year. We highly recommend staying at this property and hope to book another stay here for our trip to Cape Charles next year!

We loved our stay in this house. It was comfortable, exceptionally clean, convenient, and quiet. We cooked a few meals in the very-well provisioned kitchen and ate out a few times, too. We rented a golf cart to scoot around town and preferred to be a bit further from the beach, as this spot was extremely quiet. Our three-year-old ended up with a pretty nasty stomach bug, but Matt was understanding and kind in our communication describing the situation. If and when we return to Cape Charles, we'd definitely book this house again.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Matt’s beach cottage for my 30th birthday weekend. Open concept first floor great for entertaining/socializing, childrens toys, children’s books, pack n play, nice bath towels, well appointed kitchen with spices and cooking wear, outdoor shower and many other features to brag about. Matt was a great communicator during our stay and was immediately available to answer questions.

We had a fantastic stay for two nights. Everything in the listing was as advertised. The property was super clean with easy access to Mason Avenue in Cape Charles. The owners' instructions were really well done -- would definitely stay here again.

The home was nicely renovated. However, the water coming out of the shower was brown the evening we arrived making the shower and drinking water unusable. The water turned from brown to green on Saturday. We didn’t feel safe taking showers or drinking the water and as a result left the property early on Sunday morning. I texted the owner who obviously was aware of the issue because he left a gallon of drinking water for guests in the fridge. I would not rent this property again until the water situation is investigated and tested for safety. I would appreciate a refund for part of the stay since the home was unusable.

Another fabulous time in this home! We love Cape Charles and this home makes our stay even better. It's a great location, updated home, and has everything you need. We will definitely return. The owners are great to communicate with. We even received a message that the home was ready and we could check in early. It's in a safe area and always clean. We had perfect weather and enjoyed all that Cape Charles has to offer.
