Our recent stay at Shady Willow Lakehouse was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a memorable experience. This retreat provided us with everything we needed for a perfect family vacation, leaving us with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. First and foremost, the location of the lakehouse was breathtaking. Nestled amidst nature's beauty, the views were simply awe-inspiring. We were greeted with panoramic vistas that showcased the shimmering waters of the lake and offered us a front-row seat to witness stunning sunsets each evening. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the area around the dock. The deep waters were ideal for swimming, and we spent countless hours splashing around, enjoying the refreshing embrace of the lake. The ample supply of noodles and blowups provided by the owners, along with the ones we brought along, ensured that our water adventures were filled with endless fun and laughter. The lakehouse itself was a haven of comfort and convenience. The well-equipped kitchen surpassed all our expectations. It boasted a wide array of appliances, cookware, and utensils, allowing us to prepare delicious meals with ease. It felt like stepping into our own personal Lakehouse, designed specifically for us. Furthermore, the owners of Shady Willow were a joy to communicate with. Their prompt and friendly responses to our queries demonstrated their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay for their guests.

What an awesome home! It was right on the lake and about 40 minutes to get to Clemson. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. The layout was fantastic. We could all hang out together on the main level and then escape to the bedrooms on the other levels. We had the best time!!

Great place for a getaway for a handful of college guys on spring break.

The property was absolutely breathtaking. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities. The owners were readily available if needed. I will be sure to book this property for our next family get-together.

We had a great weekend celebrating our son's senior day with Clemson Football. We cooked out and cooked in-the space was a perfect place to gather. Beds were comfy! The place was clean and the hosts were so nice! Great spot!

We enjoyed the view, the quiet neighborhood, and our times out on the water. A great get-a -way spot.

Great property and awesome communication with host. The location is excellent. It is a quiet place to stay with a beautiful view of the lake. It was not clean however--mainly the bathrooms and dust everywhere, including spiderwebs on the light fixtures hanging over the table. I would check into the cleaning crew!

This is the second time we have stayed here and my family had a great time. We will be staying here again. Neighbors are friendly. This property is as great as advertised.

We enjoyed the beautiful view, the boat house and the deck. It was perfect for our getaway.

The house itself was great. The walk down to the dock was a bit daunting. It would be nice to have some type of railing down one side of the path. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Our family had a wonderful time relaxing on the lake. Boating, swimming, fishing etc. The house we rented had lots of room for us and stocked with all supplies needed. Thank you for sharing your home.

Our family stayed here for a week for the very first time. The house was clean, beautiful, roomy, relaxing, and overall perfect. The only thing is you better be in shape before you go down the hill to the dock 😂We definitely will be back!!

This property was so nice! It was perfect for the whole family. Plenty of beds that are comfortable, plenty of bathrooms and lots of seating on the deck. We watched the sunrise sitting on the swing in the dock with morning coffee and enjoyed evening boat rides in all the cool coves. It was an all around fantastic property for our weekend get away. (Awesome communication with the owner as well!)

We loved staying here! Both the kids and adults had a great time! The house has everything you need to have a great weekend and make memories! The private dock was great for swimming and fishing! The Monopoly table was a huge hit (we played 3 times)! Now the rest of our family wants to come stay here too! We REALLY enjoyed it!! Thanks for the memories, and we will be back soon!

If you’d like to get away from the daily rush, this is a great option. Rooms were cozy, equipped kitchen, good living room space! Everything was great! The neighbors are not super close so you can have your privacy.

Conveniently located to Clemson and family traveling from Atlanta. Steep driveway and if wet can be hard to get out - if you have front wheel drive, back out - you'll have better success.

Very nice quiet location. Exactly what I was looking for. Clean and comfortable. Well laid out floor plan with plenty of room for the six men that stayed there. Well stocked with useful everyday items. Will return.

Great place for lake fun. Especially for families with children. Very clean and everything you need for a fun lake visit. Even a box of toys for the kiddos.

I had to do a sweep and clean effort when I first got there.I'd recommend the property though. Its tucked away on a dead end street, but its only a 10 min drive to a state park. Dock at bottom of property is really nice and has a swing bench.

This was a great location for our first family vacation. We were to get some great bonding time and relaxation. We did some fishing and went out in the kayaks. Just being able to hang out, play games and watch TV. Would definitely recommend Shady Willow to anyone wanting a great family vacation!

Great location! Quiet area of lake. Kids went swimming , kayaking , and fishing. House wasn’t the cleanest we’ve stayed in; it could benefit from a good deep clean.

Had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful location. The cove was perfect for swimming and fishing. Nice, quiet neighborhood - great for long walks. We had plenty of room in the house. It was really nice to have two large refrigerators…We always stock up on groceries on day one of vacation to avoid trips to grocery stores, and having the two there was perfect!

We loved our time here on lake Hartwell. The Shady Willow was a lovely home with plenty of room and all the comforts of home. It was shaded, and tucked away right on the lake. We swam, fished, kyaked, and rented a boat during our one week stay. We will be back again soon for another fabulous get away.

House has plenty of space and everything you need. Great swimming and boating from the dock.
