For years I have looked at the condo in which we stayed from below on the beach. We finally saved up enough to stay here, and it was well worth the waiting and saving! Wonderful location, and beautifully kept condo! Breathtaking views of The Pacific and of Catalina Island! Sunsets were particularly stunning! Can't wait to come back!

This is our second stay at this lovely condo and we had an amazing week! The home is perfectly set up and the views are simply amazing…best sunsets ever! Access to the beach for walking is perfect and a short walk or drive to Salt Creek beach. Bo and Karen are such kind, attentive hosts and make you feel so welcome. The beach decor in the home is perfect. We will definitely be back and are sad to be leaving, but have had a wonderful, renewing week!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay! We spent lots of time on the deck, just enjoying the view and sounds of the waves. The condo is in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, with lots of great restaurants near by. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. We ate dinner and watched the sunset from the patio every night. The views were amazing. The trail leading down to the beach was a few hundred feet from the condo. We will definitely stay there again.

Exceptional! This was my very last attempt at renting a location from VRBO or any other site similar. I have had poor experiences previously. This experience, however, was completely different. Everyhing about this location was so unbelievable in every way that I & my children will revisit this same location again. The owners were helpful, thoughtful, generous and knowledgable. I will remain in touch with these wonderful people for years to come. The condominium was spotless, gorgeous and offered everything that was promised. I am thrilled that I chose this property and met Karen and Bo. I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area.

I rarely ever post about my stays, but this home required a few notes from me. What a perfect location! You are up on a bluff with a magnificent view, especially at sunset. There is easy access to the beach which is clean and very safe. We let our eighth grade/freshman daughter and friend walk down alone and felt comfortable. The beach in the summer has the perfect amount of people on weekdays. (Not too busy and not too quiet) The weekend is busier but you can still get a good spot. The home is perfect for our traveling party of 4. It has all the amenities you need. And the best part is the ocean breeze that glides through the home every morning and night. The house doesn’t have AC, and I am from Texas and was worried about this. It wasn’t an issue at all in July. We were never hot and used blankets when we felt chilly. The price was very fair. I felt this was the best experience I’ve had renting a VRBO. If you are scrolling through this thread and don’t stay here you are missing a wonderful opportunity.

Walk down to the beach, enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony while watching the waves and surfers, take the walking shortcut into town for dinner. A great beach long weekend!

Wonderful place! Clean, as described - incredible views. Owners left a lovely bottle of wine for us knowing we were celebrating a birthday. Cannot say enough about this place, location, and view. We all said the nicest VRBO we have ever rented. Hosts were friendly and offered us various suggestions when we requested ideas for things to do and restaurants.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. Excellent location and everything you need. Easy Lyft ride to Laguna for dinner out and we also ordered in and cooked while there. Everything was easy and convenient. We loved morning coffee and sunsets on the deck. The walking trail to the ocean was beautiful and right around the corner. Everything felt very comfortable the whole time.

We had an excellent experience at the condo in Dana Point. We were there for 2 weeks and enjoyed the accommodations and the area. Bo and Karen were very helpful and responsive as hosts.

Nice property

Sadly, there is construction throughout the day, which even the ocean cannot drown out. The bulldozers in the house being built adjacent to the pathway down to the beach both emitted a shrill beeping as they backed up, which they frequently did. So being on the deck to catch some sun just didn't happen. In fact, there is also construction across the street from the condo. The apartment itself is well stocked, and the white L shaped sofas in combination with the large mirror makes the living area light and airy. The tiny bathroom with its combination bathtub and shower were spotless, but the showerdoor is ancient and difficult to move from one side to the other. If you want to run a bath it is difficult to access the controls unless you move that door, but there was enough hot water and the plug for the tub worked. Always a plus. The light on the microwave did not work, nor did the screen, but the old Frigidaire electric cooktop did, and the newer refrigerator worked very well. Not sure why we had to pay 300 dollars for a cleaning fee, as we only stayed three nights and left the place very clean, having only used one bedroom. VRBO also hits you with a 200 dollar fee. So take those into consideration when you look for a place. The setting sun is spectacular, but we enjoyed that the most when we walked along the beach at the end of the day. Not sure if there is a leak somewhere, but the condo did have a musty smell. The location itself is superb, right next to the pathway and steps leading directly to the beach.

This property was perfect. The beds, the fireplace, kitchen and the view over the ocean. Incredible. We stayed here for our 20 year Anniversary over the weekend. Can't wait till we hit 25 years and do it again.

We had such a lovely week at this beautiful condo! The views are incredible and the condo has everything you could need. We had friends join us the latter part of the week and they were very impressed with the views as well! We have been coming to the area for ten years and absolutely loved Karen and Bo’s place! They were super nice hosts! We will most definitely be back! It was sad to leave today!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view was exactly as in the photos and the unit is quite spacious with easy access to the beach if you don't mind a bit of a walk down the paved cliffside path. We had everything we needed and check in-out was a breeze. Comfortable bed too. Not too far from the marina in Dana Point and laguna beach is a short drive away too so lots to do around the area. Great spot for a romanic getaway!

We had a fantastic long weekend staying in this beautiful condo. The views of the ocean and coast are breathtaking. We enjoyed easy access to hiking and the beach and appreciated the beach towels, boogie boards and chairs. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Thank you so much!
