The condo was absolutely beautiful, clean and looked even better in person than in pictures. Check in process was a breeze. We even arrived a little early and had no where to go and we were allowed a couple extra hours. Immediate access to the beach and a gorgeous view from the balcony. Already thinking of booking next year’s trip. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying at the Opus.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Opus¬¬¬¬. The three-bedroom condo was just right for our 3-generational party of 6. The owners, Darrell and Connie, were always very gracious and friendly. Connie answers the phone immediately and always knows what to do. When we entered the unit, the spacious condo was neat, tasteful, and orderly. As a corner unit, the living / dining room present dramatic ocean views with the community pool and hot tub lying just below the second floor balcony. The large granite-countered kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishware. The ice maker, however, was temperamental -- sometimes coughing out cubes sideways onto the floor. Gladly, we found beach supplies in a hall closet -- plenty of beach towels, a bucket full of children’s sand toys, folding chairs, and multiple boogie boards. The rusty umbrella pole was unfit to use, so we purchased another umbrella. A stairway next to the unit conveniently leads to the pool. Luggage carts are stored in the ground floor garage and are easily brought up by elevator. After you arrive at the entrance to the building, you have to go back out on the street to access the vehicle entrance to the garage (clicker required). Across the street lie a Dollar General and other shops, including a Winn Dixie. We preferred to drive two miles south to Publix for groceries -- but the kids loved walking the street options. Directly across from the condo facility beckons a popular miniature golf course with available weekly rates. The whole Opus complex belongs to a condominium association – with a manager on site weekdays and late Saturday afternoons. The building is well-maintained. Things do break, but the repairs are quickly made – as parts are available. On the whole, the condo is beautifully laid out and well- appointed in a heavy Mediterranean décor. However, some areas need attention for a top 5* rating: 1) The bedroom carpets shocked as old & dirty -- in need of an upgrade! 2) The bath towels were thread-bare, thin, & mismatched. 3) The master bath toilet seemed precariously low & without a hand railing (15-16” ht. is recommended). 4) The condo mattresses proved saggy, soft, & oddly creaky. --- Nevertheless, we ALL woke well-rested and grateful for another glorious day at Daytona Shores Beach! Thank you for this great location.

This is a beautiful place to stay and we really enjoyed staying there. However if you are taking 2 cars I don’t recommend staying here the week of July 4th. The parking up top is first come first serve and we was not told that prior to booking. We had to hunt a parking place all 7 nights and risk getting our car towed. Some night it was a 2 hour search and then I would have to get up at 7:00 am to go see if my car was towed or not. Other than the parking issues this is a great place to stay!

This property is amazing!! The place was very clean. It has the most amazing views from the balcony. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The property provides a very safe and friendly environment! The Only bad thing about our vacation was leaving! We will definitely be back for another stay!

Pictures of condo are spot on. The ocean view was beautiful especially every morning watching the sun rise! Plenty of room for our family of 6. Enjoyed the hot tub on a cool night and had a chance to swim later in the week.

This condo is very spacious! It was very clean and we felt very safe there. Loved it being at the end of the hall right next to the stairs so it was easy to get to the pool, garage, etc. It was very quiet! The check in-and-out was very easy and simple to understand. I have a bad back but the beds were very comfortable! Loved the view :) The kitchen had everything you needed but not everything you would want, like foil. Only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, which is standard, so be sure to bring extra. The sponge in the kitchen was very nice to have! But we had to buy dishwashing liquid and and dishwasher detergent. So be sure to bring supplies. Our only complaint was that the living room couch was very lumpy and uncomfortable. The couch seems to be in good shape but the cushions have been restuffed or something and we were hardly able to sit on it because it was so lumpy. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again!

Wonderful 3B 3B condo directly on the beach. Pool and hot tub heated to the perfect temperatures. Connie promptly responded to my questions.

From the start of picking this condo Connie was prompted in replying to me on questions I had about the unit. Directions on how to enter, parking and getting ready to leave was easy. I’ll rent from them again next year. Thanks for hosting us on our stay.

Unit was big, clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed during our stay. Loved having a DG across from us for quick food supplies, sunblock and ice for our cooler. The access from pool to the beach was a ramp so that was great for our special needs little guy. If your there on a Sunday morning I highly recommend aunt catfish’s Sunday brunch! Great food and a great price. They take reservations so you can book it ahead of your trip. Looking forward to coming back again! Thank you!

Loved it! First time renting a condo! The owners were clear on there expectations on check in and check out. A pleasant experience and if we have the opportunity to visit Daytona Beach again I will be staying at one of there properties!

The Opus is in a great location, very clean and Connie the owner is so friendly and accommodating. The unit is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. We will definitely rent again.

We have been staying in condos in Daytona for many years. This is the best place we have ever stayed. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a dream vacation. The 3 beds and 3 baths worked well for our multigenerational girls vacation. My mom loved the recliner and comfortable furnishings. The beds are wonderful and we all rested well. My daughter loved the convenience of the beach. It was nice to be on the second floor in case of emergency. There were other people in the building, including active families, but it was very quiet at night. Connie was very easy to work with and we look forward to coming back again. Overall wonderful place to stay!

The condo was perfect! The ocean view and easy beach access was wonderful. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We really didn't want to come home! We'd love to rent this unit again!

The condo was absolutely perfect!! Had everything you would need. Very gorgeous views from all the windows. Akot of room for someone traveling with other couples. Each one had a separate bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, & pillows felt like being home. We will definitely stay again if we visit Daytona. Deborah
