House was perfect for our family, friends and kids.

We enjoyed our stay here and were thankful for the quick communication with the owners. Plenty of room for All of us to spread out and enjoy the spaces.

This place was great! The Goff's were always attentive with any and all details. Five hundred and fifty mile one way drive was worth it. Very comfortable home! A good time was had by all! Hope to stay at Paula's Place again!

This property was perfect for our family! Everything we needed in the kitchen and just the amount of beds and bathrooms! Loved the use of the kayaks and the dock on the property! The host was quick to respond and easy to contact with.

Everything went well

This property was all we needed for our annual getaway with friends. we had 3 couples and 5 kids. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. We enjoyed the fire pit, the screened porch and made several meals in the kitchen. The dock is very private with little activity. We used the kayaks to row up the cove which ended in a creek and saw wildlife. We enjoyed swimming around the dock which has 6-8 feet of water. We rented a pontoon boat and was able to pull it right up to the dock. Lovely stay and would definitely stay again!

The property was quiet and beautiful. Our children loved swimming and fishing off the dock. The swing on the dock was my personal favorite! House was wonderfully equipped and was the perfect size for vacation with extended family. The weather was a bit rainy so the screened in porch was perfect for enjoying the outside weather without getting drenched! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

The house is adorable and spacious! The house is tastefully decorated, clean, and the kitchen has all of the utensils and appliances you would need. We were only in town for 2 nights for my grandma's funeral so we didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities , but we will hopefully be back in the future. The hosts were very responsive to messages prior to booking and when I had a question at check-in. We sat at the dock in the afternoon and it was so beautiful & peaceful! We really loved the house and the location (close to town and ON the lake)! If you need a rental in this area...book this house now!

Gary was great! We had some changes and he was very accommodating even before we arrived. The house was everything the listing said it was. The kitchen was really well stocked for 8 of us to cook 3 meals a day. The fire pit was so nice, and the dock was perfect for my husbands boat! The game room had everything the kids needed to keep them entertained. We had a nice, relaxing New Years and would definitely stay here again!

My entire family of 10 was able to come together with us for Christmas. The home had plenty of space and was perfect for us. It was a beautiful home in a great location. Although we visited in winter, we have made plans to return in the summer for the fabulous lake access!

My 9 year old really enjoyed all the books in her room and all 3 of my kids enjoyed the bunk beds.

We were in Hartwell for our granddaughters wedding. It is in a great location but unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy the lake amenities. Beds we’re comfortable and clean but the kitchen could use a little more cleaning prior to our stay.

We loved our stay at the Goff Lakehouse! Great hosts who are friendly and quick to respond. The location is perfect! Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was Spacious, comfortable and clean. We had so much fun between the games, kayaks, ping pong table, fishing and relaxing on the dock Other than renting a pontoon boat and picking up food and supplies (that were only about 10 mins away) we never left the house. We had plans to see some sights in the area before we arrived, but we had so much fun at the house we pretty much never left for the time there. The lake house had everything we needed for a great vacation. Thank you for sharing the house with us.

Amazing property. House was perfect for us, with three couples and two small children. We spent a lot of time at the lake; the setup with the dock was outstanding ! The house was great, with lots of space, a great kitchen, upgraded everything. Easy access to town and surrounding areas. Only three things kept me from giving it five stars across the board: the screened porch was great, but in desperate need of a good hosing down. The two queen beds were not queens, but full-size (I measured them to make sure I wasn’t imagining it) which was very uncomfortable. And I’m not sure what happened with the pebble floor in the main bathroom shower, but I recommend shower shoes, it was pretty painful with bare feet! Other than those things, it was one of the best houses we’ve ever rented on VRBO.

Property is in great location for rec. and shopping not far from anything. enjoyed our stay.

Renters were very organized in rental and access to home. Large enough for a large group Dock was perfect just want we needed with our boat It was so nice to walk right out to the dock and get in the boat Quiet cove area hoping to book again!

My husband and I, our two sons and their wives, and our three grandchildren (ages 3-13) had a wonderful week at this comfortable lake house. Bedrooms and bathrooms on three levels gave each family a bit of privacy as needed. We all enjoyed the swing on the dock, the kayaks, and the lovely setting. We did a good bit of cooking and grilling, and found the kitchen and grill well equipped. Of course we made s’mores and told stories around the fire pit. One day we rented a pontoon boat from Hartwell Marina…so much fun! All the kids are hoping we can do this again next year!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Beautiful lake , use of kayaks , and screened in porch was nice to sit in. The only thing I would like to see is more towels available, we had only 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth in the master bedroom, so I had to wash towels. Definitely would stay there again!

The house was incredibly clean and well laid out. Plenty of room for multiple families. I think you can even fit more then the listed 10 people. Especially when tou have teens who usually fall asleep on the couch. The kitchen is stocked ok enough, could use more daily living things like containers for leftovers more silverware. The dining table only has seating for 6. Although they have bar seats for the island you can't exactly sit and eat there when it is full of all the food you cooked. We had 9 in our group and a few of us would have to eat on the living room furniture. There is a lovely screened in area but while we were there it was covered in pollen and had to be cleaned daily to be able to use. Not that you can do anything about it but just food for thought. There is an awesome fire pit area. The lake is just a short walk from the house. They have 2 tandem kayaks with a launch pad that was very helpful! The dock is well positioned but lacked seating for more than 2 people. Could put some thought into how to better accommodate and entertaining area. There are life jackets that could seriously use replacing. And more size options. The dock boxes could have been put to better use to keep things close to the dock and or store things to be used on the lake. Overall the home is very lovely, peaceful, close but not too close to everything town has to offer and most of all the environment is a perfect get away for a great lake experience. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We just needed a place to get a way to wind down spring break. This was perfect. We spent some time on the lake, shopping down town and got to recap each night with the kids while roasting marshmallows each night!

We would rent again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property on Lake Hartwell. It was my wife and me and another couple and our daughters came up from UGA. It was close enough that they went back and forth for classes. We will definitely try to stay here again.
