The best thing about this house is the location! It’s just a short walk to all the bars shops and restaurants. I’ve stayed here multiple times with 12 friends for a golf trip. It sleeps us comfortably. The host answered all my questions in a timely manner! Would highly recommend!!

We were visiting for a long weekend with other family members, and wanted to stay near downtown Ellicottville. This was the perfect location and a short walk to the local grocery store, bakery, and numerous restaurants downtown. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished with all the amenities you would want for a short or long stay. The host was readily available for any questions we had, and quite honestly was absolutely fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again the next time we are coming to the area.

This home is large, well appointed and very clean. Our group of 4 enjoyed our stay. We liked that we each had our own rooms. This house is big enough for 8 easily. We did take advantage of the pool table in the basement for evening entertainment. TVs have FUBO, wifi was good, they even had a bluetooth speaker that we could have used. The kitchen is highly appointed with appliances, kurig coffee maker, air fryer, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and tools. It was really like staying at someones house. Its a block from the center of Ellicottville and closer to the grocery store.

Things were great for this house, it was bigger than expected. The kitchen had everything with lots of fun actives in the basement. The house was warm and cozy. Most beds were very comfortable. The opportunity for improvement is the bunk room on the 1st floor, wish there was a door and more comfortable beds. I hope to return next year.

We had an incredible experience! The property was exactly as described - spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The game's room was a great touch. The location (walkable to town) was perfect for exploring the local area, and the amenities provided made it feel like a true home away from home. The owner was also extremely responsive and accommodating, making the entire rental process seamless and stress-free. Overall, I would highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient vacation rental.

Amazing weekend skiing with our 2 teens and 7 of their friends. Plenty of space to spread out and the basement is a great hangout for teens. So easy to walk downtown or to the grocery store. Five minute drive to Holiday Valley if that. I cook a lot and the kitchen was very well stocked. Our only request would be a luggage rack or two so we didn’t have to all keep our suitcases on the floor. We will definitely be back!

The property is great. Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is huge and a great place to cook and eat together. The owner was so easy to communicate with and was very flexible with us when we could not make our first day due to a snow storm and travel ban. We loved the location. We would definitely stay here again.

Very easy to communicate with owner. Place was decorated for Christmas and also had the owl theme for the HOOTY HOUSE. Very spacious with a basement gameroom that was an extra bonus. Extremely well stocked with kitchen items and linens. Appliances and bathrooms modernized.. Short walk into town. Is on the main street so if you sleep lightly you may hear traffic. Did not bother the adults. Lovely little quaint town. Would recommend and stay again.

Great house, it was very clean. It's an older house with some great updates - kitchen is wonderful! All the beds we used (upstairs) were comfy. There were 4 of us adults, plenty of room for more. Perfect walking distance to town. It is on the main road in to town, but it's only a 2-lane road at that point, and the speed limit is 30, so not bad at all, we kept the curtians on the street side closed and rarely heard the traffic. Protip, if you're driving back from town, go around behind the house on Elizabeth St, and turn right onto Washington, then you have a right turn in to the driveway (to avoid a left turn into the drive when it's busy). All in all a good stay.

Great property! Fit our family perfectly and was in walking distance to quaint downtown locations. Layout was great and beds were comfy. Only and hour from Letchworth park where my (now) wife and I got married in a hot air balloon.

Whootie house was perfect for our family getaway
Property was just as advertised. Very clean, well stocked with towels, paper products etc. The only drawback was the closeness to the street. Very loud traffic during the night. Overall we give it 5 stars. The basement was a big hit with the children and adults. Thank you Michael for your hospitality!

Excellent house, perfect location
Highly recommend. The house is in the perfect location - a short walk to town. Plenty of parking for a large group. There were so many places in (and outside) of the home for us to congregate and enjoy. There were 8 girls total and we all had a comfortable place to sleep. The host was prompt in responding to any questions and checking in was a breeze.
The kitchen has a long bar height counter that sat 8. It was the perfect spot to all eat together.
The basement has a great game room, and even a mini fridge down there.
We are all looking forward to booking this house again in the future.

Spacious, Clean, well stocked house!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed for three nights on a ski trip. It was very clean, and spacious. It was just a couple of blocks from town and Tops. There was a great mud room for our ski stuff, two different family room areas to spread out in, as well as a big man cave in the basement! Our 5 teen boys loved the pool table, darts and shuffle board. The kitchen had everything we needed and tons of extra towels, blankets and pillows. The owner was helpful and responsive. We would stay here again if we ever go back.

It’s whats on the inside that counts!
Three generations (8 total) enjoyed a three night Ellicotville getaway in this sweet home. The owners have done a wonderful job reinventing the interior that gave us all plenty of room for all our needs. Our grandchildren spent hours on end playing pool, shuffleboard, and darts in the game room on the lower level. The kitchen is well stocked with the essentials. The island seats eight and was ideal for not just for eating, but for our many card & board games. The dining & living rooms are generous in size and we made good use of the gas fireplace to warm our bones. There are plenty of beds for at least ten people, as well as an abundance of towels & bedding.
The only reason we cannot give it five stars is the location. It should be noted the rental is on E Washington St. that is also Rte 219 ( a major thoroughfare). The plus side is the walk downtown takes only minutes, but if you are not a heavy sleeper, you may well be awakened pre-dawn by commuters, pickups, & semi trailer trucks. As long as you understand that, we would still highly recommend booking a stay at The Whootie House! I should also mention the property owner(Mike) was extremely helpful and responsive to whatever the need. Thank you!!

This house is in the perfect location, directly adjacent to tops and other stores in town and minutes away from the slopes. The house is in great condition, lots of sleeping space, and the kicker for us Dash game run was loved by my kids

Amazing!
This house is Amazing! We came here about 6 years ago and have been wanting to come back and finally did! It was even better than before! The game room was a huge hit with my kids! We played pool and darts every night! And we walked to all the shops and had dinner! Skiing at Holiday Valley was a blast! What a great family vacation we had before the kids go back to college!!!
